in this video is clear how "great" RTW was indeed..but hey lets keep shtin on G1 o dou most of the people have no idea what they even talkin about...

I mean, G1 wasnt a good guy dude. They're singlehandedly responsible for some of the worst mechanics in the game, not including the long hated Joker Boxes in which they would make a horrificly overpowered weapon, keep it that way for a month or so as the buys pile up, then nerf it to oblivion and release a new box, rinse and repeat.

RTW made the game, even though it was not perfect it had great potential. What did G1 do? Add P2W weapons, Joker boxes (we want more money so we made a lottery) and later on add even more overpowered weapons to the marketplace. It's clear they didn't want to invest in the game, they just wanted to get money from it!

They rework the shooting which is the basic of the game and was horrible,rework the driving mechanics making the vehicles more responsive,they add fight club(and new map which was already started by RTW but still)They rework the matchmaking several times and not to mention the new contacts and all their content.Also events like Easter,Halloween,Gold Rush,Anarchy,Xmas.Also bring the game to consoles which even RTW didnt made.Also the game become f2p and even with p2w weapons in cash shop-still better than payn extra to play on mission districts like was with RTW.Thats only part of the things..so be more objective pls

p.s. Some of the things made before Tiggs team-some after.Also forget fairfight(how successful was is another story)

Still have..who ever told in 2021 some of the most popular games are f2p-low specs games like Fortnite,Valorant,CSGO etc.APB can also be a mobile game just because of this.The problem is that game like apb needs regular content update after the new engine release(like new contacts,events,new cash shop items and some new map in future even if is small)and idk if LO can provide such things in short periods of time(even if is once a month)

You should also try to be more objective.

 

A lot of things that they added was already mostly done be the RTW team (just like the fight club you mentioned). Even after they reworked the matchmaking several times it was still in a lot of cases really bad. Adding new contacts was a nice thing, but things like car spawners, low-yield fragmentation grenades, blowtorch, remote detonator were so poorly planned out, i don't understand what were they thinking... Why are you talking about events that happen only couple days a year, what about the other 300+ days? They are also really boring, because of too much grinding. If you have more than one character you had to do it multiple times (how fun). Also players always found a way to abuse glitches, use op spots to camp... Console port is so bad i'm surprised it even got any players. The f2p with p2w weapons concept might sound better than paying a monthly subscription, but let's talk about facts. You cheat for a long time in a f2p game and get banned, after making a new account 5 minutes later you can already be back in the game. Having p2w weapons make the game extremely unbalanced!
