There's an issue with Steam when, if you alt+tab while in the steam overlay, APB will lock itself in the 40s. Really annoying bug that has been there fore quite a while.

While merging everything into a single server sounds like a really bad idea to me (ping/latency), I support the idea of being able to switch freely between servers, as some mentioned above (even though right now, yeah not possible).

Probably because it comes by default with certain graphics drivers :v (every AMD driver comes with the Radeon overlay since December 2017). But having such an overlay is nice because you can monitor plenty of things, and even adjust your display colors on the go.

Yep, and even if you miss the first hit, the crosshair will pop out since you clicked. I don't really see the problem with semi-auto players o.o

@Gamma64c Make sure 'Limited RGB range' isn't enabled in your Nvidia control panel. One quick way to check it is to look at a black image. If it appears grey, it's on and you should switch to full range mode. (it's on limited range by default when you install your drivers) Edit : it probably may not be that (above) but try maxing up your settings as the others suggested, just to see

As suggested by in-game GM Yuvie, I'm posting this on the forums. Some of my fellow beta testers have had some issues not long ago with Battleye falsely flagging specific AMD Vanguard drivers (drivers being tested by us). This apparently doesn't apply to publicly released drivers. Sadly I cannot disclose any information about these drivers, but having never experienced any issue with Battleye myself, what should I expect ? Is my account at risk or will Battleye just block my drivers whenever I try to start APB ? Thanks in advance.

If you use the Advanced APB launcher, you can bypass game files verification and therefore avoid another installation of DX9
