Jericho is dead for like 2 years already. It would be kinda pointless to merge the servers now unless you wanna deal with european latency, being the fact that all this mess lasted for 4 months and LO finally managed to host EU servers in EU, and americans in NY. All that trouble for what? To merge jericho now... idk. Transferring the char to citadel would be a nice option though, since nekrova users were allowed to, i dont c why jericho users wouldnt be allowed to.

Most of armas weapons are reskins of f2p ingame ones. Difference is you dont have to pay for new one every 10th 20th or 30th day. Nerfing is necessary for the game experience, but my concern is that variety of players with direct contact to LO employees, who LO listens to and then decides fate of all rest of us, is compromised. Since each time nerf comes, it comes for the section of weapons which are not meta for most well known cheaters and hackers. "Coincidence" much. Now is time to nerf nfas shotguns ( i am definitely up for it) but its interesting how NOBODY mentions the power of the JG shotguns, and nobody even talks about JG! Yet JG is ridiculously spammed and undefeatable in close range. Fun fact, JG is also mostly used by those "pro" rank 20's who go 50 - 2 k/d ratio in cqc FC, and then they just vanish after a week, only for new JG hero to appear out of nowhere and go godlike. If you already nerf, nerf entire section of some weapons. Be objective not subjective.

In my opinion this is the best way. Nobody can interfere with your mission anymore, nor decide outcome of it, without even knowing it, as it happened plenty of times. Fair play to everybody, enemy and your team, and other teams.

My suggestion is still on point. I am not programmer to know the best way for solution but i can give an idea. Your one liners aside, provocation never poke anything, because you never provide any "smarter" solution or suggestion, you only know to spit over everybody's elses. Thats only thing you are good at. Aside of abandonmission there should be abandonmission with opp as well in some distant future, if there is one for APB. You are obviously einstein so enlight us the better way to do it. Allow me to explain it better for you. Gold player and dethreater is not a same thing, so it makes your comparison and point pointless. Dethreater is a high rank silver who cant match golds nor she/he was, is or ever will be a real gold. If she/he was, she/he would not dethreat, desert, and run away from gold opposition all the way to the bronze districts. Dethreater "earned" her/his gold status on bronze, low silver, green and trainee players. Gold earned her/his on silver districts from where everybody did everything to escape from fighting re roll hackers, closet cheaters, tryhard premade group clans of 4 men sitting on discord playing as if every mission is world championship for real money, etc. I carried already many low rank silvers, trainees in matches to victory, some of them even thanked me for it. I lost many too, because you cant be 1 girl army vs 4 255 golds, but that is the life. You win some you lose some, life goes on.

Problems i have with type of people like you irl are solved by my standing up from the table and going away. That is a social demonstration of what i think about people whose sole purpose is not to give constructive counter argument but purposely defiantly give opposite opinions just to trigger people to talk back to them. With people like you irl I would not waste a single 1 minute of my time to lead discussions. Like i said utopia, and i KNEW, that someone will instantly say that. Everything to defend hackers...everything. That is why i said democratic vote! If there is 6 ppl in a team, 5 of us would have to choose quit. Either way none of this will ever happen so its pointless to discuss it.

Lol this is on point. Bringing back threat system, will simply bring back ability to all dethreaters to go back to good old harassing bronze districts. This way at least all bronzes, trainees, silvers got same chance of getting gold player in their team, as its same chance to get them in opposition. We helped already plenty of low level bronzes and trainees, to win a mission, because we didnt abandon team. That will not be the case anymore when threats are back.

You are genius, how did I not think of that! Topic is abandoning a mission. Report button wont save me from PLAYING a mission with a player who always bullied me, harassed me and was toxic to me with sabotaging my mission on purpose because he hates me for only his known reasons. /ABANDONMISSION however will save me from him! That is if i am quick enough before we got cop opponents. That is why we do need /abandonmission! Not only do we need that, if I was LO i would even put a system similar to requesting leadership of a team by democratic voting of abandoning mission with the opponents. If we get "pro" rank 20's who go 30 kills 0 deaths, because kids are bored and they cheat in dead game without consequences or active admins with power of ban on sight, it would be nice in that case to abandon a mission and stop wasting our time. In my opinion it would even be a sort of counter measure for hackers / cheaters, because if every opposition would quit to them, they would pretty much either have to leave a game, or eventually stop cheating or hacking. But that idea is just an utopia sadly.

Its exactly what I said. There are too many pleasant fellow golds. If you already get an "easier" mission with mixture of gold silver opponents, least you can do is not abandon low rank or new player on your side. I didnt abandon neither one single mission and I have been getting Trainees on my side plenty of times. However i am not for removal of abandonmission because if you are grouped with toxic players you very well know, you should 've option to leave such group. That is if you are fast enough before getting opp, which is currently a fine option imo

Its obviously referred to the current state of the game. Do we really have to think about basic stuff such as new players, as if each and every one of us weren't new at one time and didn't install apb and created first character?

Eeeexactly this is what I 've been thinking. Playerbase dropped when EU servers got hosted by NY ones "temporary" for 3+ months. Long enough for majority to quit the game, as they did. Yip oky fair enough! I am in mostly for the designs anyway, but if there ll be no players, i wont ve nobody to sell it to anymore x.x

No I definitely agree with you. All together in one place, people with 12000 hrs gameplay and 1hr gameplay is simply not right, not fair, BUT at this very moment (which should not be permanently) is necessary in my opinion. If you got small playerbase, dividing it further will just make you mathematically have even smaller playerbase. I am not for this system to remain permanent, but i am up to keep this system until engine upgrade this year (as promised for 4th time by LO), which can be an ace in sleeve to attract new playerbase finally. Players need better experience otherwise they wont stay. Nobody would. You can discuss players experience when you have players, but like this, there wont be any left. And this current mm is not unfair only to silvers... i too get bronze players, low rank silvers in mm..and guess what? I dont abandon mission. I play along, wait for opp, and we get 4 premade 255 gold cops, and I lost the match. You press k, you get new match. Its not really so bad for silvers at the moment either, because you guys get high rank golds as well on your side. So imo we should all just cooperate together if we want to prevail. Its not flowers and sunshine mm for any of us all the time, but at least you get missions, and you get opp. If this is correct, and playerbase is this low because 90% of players are waiting for threat system coming back, then i am definitely up for returning back threat system asap. But I think playerbase is low due to extended eu servers usage, and from what i know, 80% of ppl from EU and Russia quit because they couldnt play with 100000 ms lag and it took 3 months + for LO to finally bring back EU servers (from which even social is still at NY atm). If you are correct tho, then i am up for bringing threat back.

Well tbh i dont know. In my opinion vital population to keep are veterans, silvers and golds. High ranks, max ranks. They are the ones buying stuff from armas, which is supporting the game. If you lose playerbase who is willing to finance APB with our real life salary, do you really think LO got any motivation to proceed with Engine upgrade or any motivation whatsoever to keep this game alive? All of us, bronzes, greens, silvers, golds cant fill up 2 miserable districts via daytime when all people are home from work, college, or school. ALL OF US cant fill up 2 districts NOW! Imagine what will happen when you got playerbase of 200 players, and you consciously proceed to divide it even further with threat segregation. You create further groups. 50 golds 50 silvers 50 bronzes 50 greens. If 50 golds got nobody to play against, since 50 silvers will join bronze districts golds cant join...those 50 golds will quit. If 50 silvers continue (and you will) play on bronze servers vs 50 bronzes...those 50 bronzes will quit. 50 silvers cant join green threat servers, and even if they could...do u really have fun beating green who dont even know where is obj on the map? That is why i think, threat system will create domino effect of inevitable APB end.

Its different because of population Hawtgirl! Its not about mm, its about the fact you wont PHYSICALLY have a player to play against when threat is back. Get it ? Sure you silvers will have your threats, you can go harass bronze districts like it has always been the case. Golds will have your silver districts, like it has always been the case. But problem is you ALL of you silvers will escape to bronze districts. Golds will have no opposition anymore, aside the 1st type of example screenshot u provided .. re roll trash acc in most cases a cheater, grouped with max rank. Legit golds will therefore leave the game. If we leave the game, nobody will finance armas anymore, or at least 70% less people will finance it since its always been done by golds mostly and silvers...never bronzes. That is inevitable end of apb.

Op its literally on point. Bringing back threats will leave silver districts empty since majority of this remaining pop are dethreaters. At silver /gold districts you will have remaining of "pro" rank 40's who blatantly hack in a dead game tryharding to kill game even more by forcing legits to quit. Playing on trash account that ll take 2-3 months for eac to ban it, so that kid can in 2 min create new one with fake email and repeat process of harassment. Nobody cares that bronzes will leave, since bronzes are newcomers and they dont keep this game alive nor they care to invest real life money for a game they dont care for. Golds and silvers keep this game alive. Golds and veteran silvers buys any shit from armas just to support LO for that engine finally. And golds and silvers will leave the game because there wont be physically any district to join to. Even now when there are no threats and everybody can play anywhere, entire population at weekends is barely 2 full financials and 1 half empty waterfront district. Means all of us together, bronzes, silvers, greens, golds, cant fill up even 3 full districts during most attractive time such as weekends middle of the days. Bringing back threat system will erase silver and gold districts. Its a fact. What killed the game was incompetence of providing EU servers. It took you guys months for it, and literally population of 1200 players, from which 600 were nekrova players uninstalled the game thinking, game is permanently hosted at us servers. Rest of EU quit too because it was same reason... 1000000ms lag. Only thing that can save this game, is to rush up with engine upgrade this year...if it wont be finally done this year...this is end of apb. And maybe for the best when one think about it.
