why would what be higher? the amount of social warriors? Cause less ppl r playing they make up a bigger %

id say thats abit high especially if you count the social warriors. They arent actually playing there just sitting around afk in social all day.

Those numbers can be as close as u want Jericho is still worse now then when it was last yr. Were under 1000 peak players overall and Jericho struggles to keep its total pop above 200 players, which when you subtract the social warriors who dont actually play the game your struggling to hold a pop of a mere 165 ppl at best. Theres no way Jericho can continue on as it stands and LO is going to have to close off some districts to try to keep a district populated enough to play. LO and @MattScott have a decision to make as they have to release some kind of game fixes before the engine update to at least maintain the pop thats left or there wont be anybody when its ready. Citadel has afew more players but not by much and at this stage of the game nobody is going to make new chars and redo all their customs in a game that wont last long enough to enjoy it.

Mode is a complete waste of time. If your going to keep it in the event at least give out a title and or skin for winning the thing to make the mode worth playing and even winning otherwise just remove it completely.

For what its worth they could have just made it random via the egg hunt and there would have been the same result.

What is the point of the broken launcher mode? It rewards nothing and the guns op making it the perfect weapon to sit and camp with for 20 wasted minutes. Next time dont add it if it doesnt reward anything besides frustration.

The ATAC is actually balanced unlike most weapons in APB. Its got its niche and does well at what it was made for. At one point yes it was OP but it got nerfed and its fine now. Nowadays ppl just complain about it and use its past as an excuse to justify it but in reality theres no justification for it.

Matt these attacks have been going on for yrs not months, well before LO took over. This stems from the sheer amount of hackers within the community that for yrs got away with murder. Now that they are being challenged they are taking it out on the game and whoever is left playing. At this point anything short of new servers with new ip and mac addresses along with new coding just wont solve the issue. Oh and police involvement as this is blatantly targeted. I know new coding will come in with the new engine but it will be hacked into if there arent additional protocols in place.

Id think at this point all new servers with diff ips and mac addresses would help along with new coding that I know will be in the new engine. But these kiddies will try to break in again there needs to be additional protocols in place besides what we currently have to stem these attacks and remove hackers that are still getting past battle eye.

Really this stems from G1 and its high tolerance policy of hackers over the yrs. They came in, saw they could get away with anything they want and their numbers grew to an unacceptable lvl. Now that there is some kind of resistance to them there trying to take it out on us and the game. If G1 took care of the issue from the beginning we wouldn't be where we are now plain and simple.

Yea it would. PCs nowadays are getting 60 easy and 30 is horrid so bringing that up would help.

I am aware of the struggles under 50v50 as well. Im also aware that if G1 had put any effort into getting good servers, ISP and netcode we wouldnt be here right now customization or not.

Yet when the servers shit and the broadside of a barn is impossible to hit the same ppl always have good reg and can hit just fine.

Yes G1 needs to be abandoned its rep is way too damaged to fix and it will only hurt LO to keep it and try to fix it.

Cause G1 bought the cheapest oldest crap they could find so they could pocket more money. While yes the fact that APB has been unoptimized for yrs does affect the quality in which you can play its mainly the fact that G1 didnt give enough shits about the game or community to buy decent servers. Back in the day reg districts could support 100 players in 50v50 fashion, now there set to 80 players 40v40 and struggle greatly even when the servers are dead. They put no effort into optimization, bug fixes or server selection and it was painfully obv. Its still obv that LO is running these shitty servers still for whatever unknown reason.

Yup. These servers couldn't handle APB from day 1 and its only worse now then back then. Yes the netcode is trash but these servers are just as bad if not worse. At the end of the day new servers should be brought in to better handle the game and the better engine on the way. It will only strain the servers even more and I hate to see how bad they would be if unreal 4 was unleashed let alone the disaster that has been unreal 3.

I admit at 6yrs old my pc isnt new but its more then capable of handling APB and far from a potato

Were playing when theres an inf loading screen and crashing districts?

Well obv mitigation isnt working then if the pattern is this repeatable cause it should prevent the crashes.

Jericho just went to 35ms server side then fin-5 crashed. Can we fix these servers already? Or better yet replace them. Edit: Inf loading screen when trying to re enter a dist.

You guys are also tasked with helping new players if they existed so once again your looked up to and as such your role models for the community

Not everyone can just be a tester ya know. If that was the case everyone would be a SPCT.
