I would dare say that it might be easier to, instead of radically change how threat is calculated, instead spread the colors out more over the current mmr. Say have it where 25% of the player base is in each tier. This just needs minor tweaks to the mmr spread and the dispersion to the colors.

Twitch reflex goes away pretty fast for sure, that and other things have me as a solid silver player now days.

I never saw the point in playing the game on fugly settings when the game is so much about customization.

They don't need to DT to bronze, just silver. Also a good amount of those types don't really go High gold, they just skim it, so its easy to get back to silver for them. And people have DT from Gold to green so it is do able.

I presume that whom ever is doing it, if it is a person and not some error LO side, Just really wants to punish the game and or community. Maybe they have some goal in mind like trying to kill the game finally or something. But it is def happening way to often, hell most days I don't bother when its happening anymore.

Well if where we spawn decides what points we get then that is fine, nothing could go wrong with that. Maybe instead of it being open sandbox like we can have huge walls popup so people don't do an objective in a hard area when its a easy mission or take the obj into a hard area for points. Well the highway is a rare spawn that roams so you can't take it into account. Green is actually Elite tier and worth bonus points! The real Meta is in taking that hold the whatever and taking it to one of the Omega Purple areas so we can farm more points and manipulate the system more! Because adding an overly complex system that solves nothing is MORE so its better!

Cheap and lazy are what drive humanity and that is why ddos is so easy with what we have now.

OMG I was right, sorta. I gave you plenty of criticism, you can choose how to take it though. You are asking to make something that would take a supercomputer to implement in any useful way. Something that is in no way needed nor worth the effort. Not to be more harsh but, you have areas labeled as one thing when i am sure many would agree are on the other end. All of this is based on opinions of an area not facts not data. Now if we had years of data from all the missions ran in the forever, we could in theory look for trends in that data to maybe have some clue to something like what you want to think about. But we don't.

I am now picturing op with map print outs and crayons coloring areas different colors for how randomly hard they seem to them. Ok for real why would this in any way be better than... well than anything else. Like a cabbage could give as good results determining the infinite number of variables that can happen.

Much like other games, some times you get a shitty map sometimes you get a good one. It evens out in the end so no need to make up some random value system for crap that will only be a shit ton of work and have nothing but problems to try to get it to work half decently.
