We are going to go through the paces and make sure that the change we make is correct for the game. It has been a long time and while they might be more balanced based on memory, we dont know how they are balanced related to the changed versions of the guns that we have made changes on subsequently. These changes need to be tested in the current iteration of the game to see if that balance is still there or if there need to be tweaks. There is also a chance that because of some of the balance we have done, these stats wont be as balanced as people remember. I know that we want to make changes quickly but I would rather do the due diligence than rush out something that might or might not fix the problem.

Hello everyone, I wanted to briefly explain the next step in our progress of weapon balance. As most of you would agree, shotguns are not currently in a good place. They are too versatile, too forgiving, and overall just too powerful. When looking at the task of balancing shotguns, the hardest part is always finding a good place to begin where the category is already balanced relative to each other. After extensive community feedback, it was pretty clear that a vast majority thought that shotguns were more balanced back before we made our first round of changes in the summer of 2018. One of the changes that was made was to introduce a way of scaling the damage of individual pellets so that each subsequent pellet that hit a target did less damage. I will quote from the original explanation on this change: “The amount of front-loaded damage varies based on shotguns, and provides shotguns more consistency, as you can partially hit a target and still do considerable damage.” This worked too well. Shotguns are now super consistent damage and even glancing shots do a significant amount of damage. So, for this first set of stats, we are going to be reverting shotguns back to their pre Little Orbit stats. The stats should reflect how shotguns behaved and performed in 2017. Please keep in mind that this is just a place to start and we have a long road ahead in terms of balancing shotguns. With the help of the community playing in the Prototype districts and providing feedback on the stats, you’ll help us bring balance to the Force… err shotguns. Hello everyone, A new patch is going up onto the Live servers for PC. This patch will be happening on Wednesday 12/4/2019. Patch will start at 9 AM UTC and will last for up to 4 hours. Overview · Adding in the new Blood Moon clothing line to Armas. This bundle consists of 3 different Blood Moon designs; Dragon, Unicorn and Wolf. After feedback from the community, preset clothing line bundles will also include the Decals used to design them. · Adding in a first-round pass of Shotgun stats changes and a change to the NTEC5 and its variants to Prototype District A. There will be no Prototype District B for this initial period of feedback. Hello everyone! A new patch is going up onto the Live servers for PC. This patch will be happening on Wednesday 4/10/2019. Patch will start at 9 AM UTC and will last for 4 hours. This patch will be activating our Easter event starting after the patch finishes and ending on 4/24/19 at 9 AM UTC. For Console, the Easter event will also begin on 4/10/19 at 9 AM UTC and end at 4/24/19 at 9 AM UTC. The Console environments will be down for approximately 2 hours for weekly maintenance at that time as well. Thank you all! *Please note we had announced a later start time for consoles but are able to release Easter at the same time as PC. Sorry for any confusion.

Ill chime in here as well. For me, the ability to test is about how fast I can get back in after finding something broken. The load times on 3.5 noticeably shorter. At the very best, I can go from the Launcher to in a district, in about the same time it takes to get fully logged in on the current live build.
