Fix matchmaking and the threat system will work properly because for the people who dethreat to get into bronze then turn back to gold, the only matches they will get is against other people who have done the same.

Problem is.... in Fight Club a week or so ago, one of the regular blatant cheaters that LO are doing diddly squat to curtail went 40+ kills twice in a row and a TGM was congratulating him on having great gameplay in district chat. It insulted all the legit players out there, and proves that the TGM concerned is unfit for that role.

Strangely enough, the whole reason I commented about the DMR was because I've noticed that it ISN'T as effective at long range as it used to be. I am not sure if giving hosts of cheaters a free pass is demonstrating that they have what it takes to improve things. Shotgun imbalance + cheaters using triggerbots = wrecking the game for legitimate players even further. No doubt the cheaters and their sycophantic buddies will say it isn't so - but I kind of expect that from scum.

Most of the focus has been on how badly they have fucked up the shotguns. They have messed up the DMR badly by the increased range moving the damage ramp, making it pretty much obsolete. They need to reduce the range that the ramp starts in order to redress this, or revert the changes specific to the DMR sniper rifles. Little Orbit have demonstrated how little they actually know about APB, firstly by unbanning the cheaters and rejuvenating the infestation of scum with a free pass, and secondly by making changes without actually bothering to understand why things have been the way they are or the mechanics of specific niche weapon groups before making blanket changes. I had hopes for them before they did this. What a shame.

You buy a bundle that is account bound, but the weapon included is specified as being character bound. Just like everyone else who bought that bundle, you knew what you were buying but tried it on with G1 and they rightly didn't pander to you - and now LO have taken over the game you are trying it on with them. A bit that you DIDN'T highlight (rather conveniently, I suspect in the hope that they might miss it) is that it is neither refundable, TRADEABLE, nor EXCHANGEABLE. You bought what you bought as part of a heavily discounted bundle. You knew what you were buying, and you are trying to take the wee. As you are someone with multiple bans behind you, why am I not surprised? #selfentitled #spoiled #brat. You are like a child who when mum won't buy them an ice-cream they go to dad and ask in the hopes that the answer will be different.

It was strange how they appeared to get less good for a day or two whenever the anticheat was updated though.

What you didn't mention there is that you have a cataract operation scheduled, and your BMI exceeds your IQ...…. While things have imp[roved in some respects, Fight club still has its fair share of people using stuff they shouldn't.

Done several fresh installs using the link from your website, (tried it again after your post here) and this does NOT remedy the out of date BattlEye failures. I haven't yet had a reply to the ticket I raised - presumably they are too busy unbanning known cheaters to deal with a legitimate player's issues.

BE Working as intended... You've just unbanned shed loads of cheaters, and yet legitimate players can't log in because the BattlEye program is giving an out of date failure mode and is not updating. Well done!

So the majority are stupid because they don't agree with your notion. You need to look up Dunning Kruger, because you're not in the league of DaVinci and Galileo, and in this case it applies to you. OPGLs are the bane of players who corner-hump (many of these people using triggerbots). Every weapon has its place, and mostly the only people who don't appreciate that are the one trick ponies who rely on their trick and hate the thing that can counter it effectively. There is no reason to try to petition the new developers to remove weapons just because you (and some others) don't like it, and when people point out WHY you are incorrect you call them 'silvers' and 'idiots' to try to make out that you are not in fact just plain wrong. You are not a special snowflake. Grow up, and man up.

None of the above. Two other solutions that are slightly more elegant in my opinion.... 1. Once a player has gained the 'kind of a big deal' achievement, lock them out of bronze. Genuine silvers could gain entry to bronze servers, but dethreaters would not be able to regardless of how far they dethreat. That would remove the incentive to dethreat, and other players wouldn't end up with matchmaking thinking they are better than they are due to having faced dethreaters, so the matchmaking would be improved as an indirect result. On introducing this system, globally reset every character to silver and remove the kind of a big deal achievement. Everyone who should be playing at a high level will get gold (and the achievement) pretty fast and be excluded from bronze servers forever more. 2. Alternatively, if your current district is one level below your current threat, reduce rewards (standing and apb dollars) by 50% and halt any role advancement for kills against people below your current threat level (not the level that you entered the district with). If the differential is two steps (say you entered bronze as a silver but turned gold) reduce the rewards to zero - and at that stage you'd only get role advances for actions taken against other golds who equally are in the wrong place. Basically it would incentivise playing in a district correct for your threat level without creating a hard block. Golds would play in gold since they would no longer be rewarded for farming silvers. Silvers would then not feel they'd been pushed down to bronze, and everyone would find their level without being forced away from their friends who may be a different threat.

It is funny when a nade is launched and the carbine 'heroes' run in on top of it, and then complain bitterly when they die to the nade they ran to. The other funny one is the people who shove in front of you or run out in front without a thought for what else is going on around them and get a nade in the back for their lack of consideration for others. Both are examples of people killed by their own selfish game play, but these people are usually too self-entitled to consider that it might actually be because of their own actions, and therefore feel the need to blame anyone but themselves for it. If I have an opgl out and team kill by accident (my mistake, and it rarely happens because my game play style is generally considerate to others) I generally apologise. If someone gets killed because of their own stupidity and selfishness, they can go shove their precious self-entitled special snowflake egos up their own posteriors. That said, you do get people who spam nades into areas where an engagement is already happening regardless of team mates - that is what the autokick feature for excessive team killing is for.

Yes. Having this problem too initially with the launcher failing to do its job. I did a fresh install which fixed the initial launch. Now however I get as far as trying to enter a district and get "Battleye is out of date and needs updating, restart the game".... Restarting the game just results in the same. Battleye is not updating. Edit: Tried using the repair option in the Launcher to see if that forced BattlEye to update, and it messed it up so that it's now no longer even launching again. Edit2: Uninstalled and another fresh install, with fresh BattlEye Install. Game still does not launch. Getting the same blocked windows files that I was getting when it did launch successfully. Tried restarting computer on the off chance but it still doesn't launch. Edit3: Another reinstallation through Steam and we are back to the game launching, but when joining an instance BattlEye is saying its out of date.... again and again.... Never had a problem before this update. Submitting support ticket to see if LO can tell me what is screwed up that needs fixing.

Bullies? I was merely saying how it is. You cannot use the criminal justice system as an analogy. They do not let everyone in D wing out of gaol because one of the prisoners there was found to be unjustly convicted. There is a minority of bans that have been deemed unjust and therefore they are giving MOST people a second chance. That does not equate to innocence on the part of the vast majority of people being given that chance. Calling me a bully for pointing that out is puerile and beneath you. Grow up.

They didn't find that you were innocent. They found that enough of the bans didn't have sufficient evidence to prove that they were for a good reason and they have done a blanket un-ban which does NOT equate to innocence of everyone being unbanned. Tiggs is still around working with LO, perhaps if they asked her, she might be able to tell them if (for example) people banned for scamming had all the legendaries removed from their account during the banning process.

It is fairly simple. Nazi symbols are banned in some countries where APB is accessible. Regardless of where the swastika's origins come from, the fact is that it is illegal to display it in some nations make it legally unacceptable. A wehrmacht uniform or even an SS uniform without swastikas should be perfectly fine (although it may be considered by many to be in bad taste). .
