Big pain in the butt. Happens every day.
Really hope we do get the new engine before the summer is over. Come on LO, the beta looked great, get her done ❤️

I have the same issue with my GTX1080ti.. all 10-15 mission I crash. Pls fix.

I have a suspicion that this might be because of the 4K, but I'm not sure.

What ingame settings are you using?

That's just lowering the graphics as much as possible to take up less memory and possibly minimizing the amount of crashes.

There is no guarantee that it'll work.

Don't think that should cause it, but try it on 1440p or 4K, High instead of max. If you can live with either of those then stick to that if 4K max causes issues.

I'm not seeing crashes on my end with those settings, but that could just be my luck

AMD 9590 4.8Ghz

24GB RAM

GTX 2080 Ti

Merged.

3-4 times in one day

Used to play APB all the time. Never had the issue. Took a break and came back. Now, issues.

Will there be a temporary fix for this issue anytime soon? Or do we have to wait for the engine update?

hi guys

any fix for this?

i7 9700k

16gb

rtx2080

i tried everything,, repair,, reinstall, edit BaseEngine file ,, even format my pc

This is an issue with apb that is caused by the game being unable to process 64 bit instructions
It tends to happen with all modern graphics cards , especially GTX 16XX Series and RTX Series cards

There is no fix for it other than wait for the engine upgrade

im gucci bass 😉

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 18362) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202)

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X 12-Core Processor  (24 CPUs), ~3.5GHz

Memory: 32768MB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER

like dozens of drives ...

im using Flaws / Minimal preset (which isnt minimal it just has that name ...)
and
APBprogram -language=1031 -nomoviestartup -NoVerifyGC -dx10 -dxgi -d3d10

and
APBEngine.ixi + BaseEngine.ini

TimeBetweenPurgingPendingKillObjects=999999999
GarbageCollectionMemoryCeilingGb=3.3

ressolution: 1920x1080

no issues at all

Possible Temporary Fixes:
- get lower versions of windows example build 1903 of windwos 10 and disable updates (check if thats helped)
- use proper config made by community (i rly recomend flaws one)

- removing some windows updates connected to directx and .net
- maybe diffrent drivers ? older or newer (this is assumption i will consider that at the end)

I tried playing the 64-bit Open Beta today with my soulmate, he has a RTX 2080 Super and he still crashed after trying to respawn.
