Fix to VIP/item/dm running

I dont come across runners often, but its annoying when it happens. Not that there isnt a counter for it, but when its a vegas with a alig or osmaw on the top its pretty damn annoying.

Maybe adding a game area (~300m radius?), when if you leave for a certain amount of time you die, would help mitigate this problem.

Not a huge issue but one nonetheless.

personally i dont really have an issue with running itself, but i think theres too many things that indirectly unbalance it (car surfer, blowtorch, low mission timers, etc), but its easier to nerf running itself than all those different things 

i like your idea but i'd prefer if the area was for the item instead, a 300m radius where if the item crosses the border it respawns somewhere within (similar to how items work when dropped out of bounds)

not sure if it should respawn in the same place every time since thats potentially exploitable

That would work for an item, but what about VIP missions, or deathmatches for the people who get a kill and run away

Change / Buy a gun takes to much time. I would prefer if the Vegas and the Han Veo would get even a higher Nerf in speed and acceleration. Maybe even make a car with an item or a VIP (inside or on the roof) more vulnerable

A lease is for a few days and unless its someone who doesn't play often then there's no real reason not to have one for those missions.
Finding it in a mess of guns and equipping it  might take a minute but its not ops job to make it easy for anyone *shrugs*
Sure its annoying when some run just to troll but its your responsibility for your points as well.
It's just how it goes when there's work to do *shrugs*
I mean for the armored car mission you'll need it anyways so .....

You are really comparing the Money Truck run mission with vegas 4x4 running away?

atleast you can stop the truck with a normal car. Its not fast and ist hitable. 

a 4x4 with a osmaw or alig is just not getable especially if you are rank 40.

or what do you think. Me running as a max rank against low silver players?

Wouldn't fix the VIP Car surfing exploit using heavy items and people outside your mission (they can go full speed)

Do you even play the game? Sitting with a Dog Ear/Blowtorch leaning out of the window of a pioneer getting boosted by a vegas is the meta. "Removing" car surfer won't fix shit.

Personally, I love running. It gives you an adrenaline rush when people chases you. (A bit like the Halloween - Pumkins & Horsemen Event). Driving through San Paro at high speed is very satisfying... I compensate the lack of racing events by running away with packages or being VIP. It is very fun! Even when other teams run away, it is a challenge to catch them back, and just anticipate their next turn. 

There are many ways to counter this tactic. Most involving an Alig.

I like the things the way they are, but I respect your opinion. Let's keep discussing about it, maybe a solution will come out of this controversy.

There are also problems, one of them being a time set for it, there's usually a very little time to change to anti-vehicle guns and catch up to the runners then take them down. You do that and you already find out half the timer is gone and you know they will do it again if they wrap their hands around task item over.
Also most people correlate running with being scared and panicking as the result of being overpowered by an enemy team
