Christmas event

I surely hope that you guys prepared new content for xmas event aside silly titles and jts. When is xmas event starting? Which date?
We want at least 1 new clothing piece, at least one single new item, even if its just repainted refurbished same old item. 

Game is in worse state than before horizon...pop is dropping as we speak.
We need from you guys to hold us up give us at least some nice xmas present, surprise us.

I mean the players need to start taking some responsibility for the player count dipping. If they stopped cheating the game would probably grow, all be it at a slow rate but grow. Cheating is always gonna be a problem like in every game. Can't always be the devs fault as there will always be some sort of bypass.

 

Think these cheaters need to have a serious think about what they are doing. It's gonna get to a stage where they aren't gonna have a game to cheat on.

 

Maybe for just one second think... "I won't cheat anymore..." If they all thought like this the game would be a lot better of an experience for everyone.

this is kinda true but it's going to take a while since curious people will keep coming and get the full Diddy party experience and then dip, or if that stops than it would just end up being a cheat vs cheat war which my take a while till they realize what they have done

The players don't care, that's why they're cheating in the first place. Cheating is an inherently selfish act. If you think enough cheaters are going to have a "come-to-god" moment to save the game, there's a nice padded room waiting. You said it yourself, cheating will always be a problem - its a known quantity, a natural phenomenon of the internet, and so the responsibility always falls to the developers. You wouldn't build a house in front of a hurricane without taking proper precautions would you?

I don't think the players were Gud enough this year to deserve Christmas.

I think Matt should dig up more hackers to torture us, I think we deserve more agony. 

 I would suggest a lump of coal for each player, but a lump of coal is worth 10 of ya.

Even if a cheater stops cheating, they will be back to doing exactly the same in the moment when they get killed by another cheater.

in 2013 it was already easily predicted that apb will eventually be a game filled with cheaters, hackers, trolls and toxic immature abusers.
Many people left apb due to the high amount of toxicity during g1 era, so not even cuz of cheaters which always existed and always will exist in every game.
You really think trolls care? Cheaters care? Its their main goal...to waste their time making someone else's time miserable.
At this point too many people left again so its not even the trolls and toxic players that remained...even those types moved on.

Now we got player base filled with basically old closets who cant let the game go cuz they invested too much time of their life building their ego via apb game, using all sorts of configs that remove recoil and assists with aim and grenade throwing, where they keep telling others and themselves how that is "not cheating", and we got those full blatants who re roll weekly new chars new accounts which they build up by going full full blatant level aimbot style, and as soon as they max their cop and crime ranks they sell acc for irl money to newcomers.
And we got third curious real newbies who install a game and manage to remain in the game maybe full few hours before they tuck their tails between their legs and run away from everything.

So its irreparable and downfall is inevitable. 

 

We are currently stuck in a magic circle, where only way you can maybe save the game is that sard really starts to work after all this analyzing for months, and literally do a ban wave of removing all k/d ratio suspicious players instantly without mercy. 

But if you do that, current player base of 300 people would literally drop to 80-100 legit people, and do you really think it would pay off to have servers for 100 people? 

So after that ban wave we would again need an unban wave so that we bring back all that cheating scum, who is basically at this point keeping this game alive as well.

Actual working anti-cheat is far too late same as engine upgrade. To little too late. 

At this point we just need new content and enjoy in the small things and maybe expecting new patches like new horizon gradually slowly upgrading apb towards some potential apb 2.

 Most of these Haters are self hating. They are otherwise displeased with Life and 

Their issue of Life. They compensate by cheating and bullying which triggers a dopamine 

release, making them feel better and superior to others around them. 

 Now when most of your peers are doing just that, you have to work harder at being a bully 

to come up to par with your peers. 

 The funny and sad part of it is, none of this hacking or bullying will get them a job, 

They won't make their mark in life as someone who aced apb. 

They won't print it on their grave stone, that they made a person quit, 

or that they proudly talked down to those not gold.

  I don't much of a change coming for legits, other than we will have to fight 

more names, as in, the bully/hacker/tos violator will get some points after a long while, 

and then they will switch to another account. 

At this point there's no reason to report because nothing is in place. 

And ya know it'll be a mostly hacker mission, ya know the common trolls will be around 

with nothing better to do than irritate other players because they are mad at the system and 

again their issue of Life. That issue could be a body form issue or a mental issue or a financial issue. 

For Me, I put allot of money into this game, and could move on because of my age and health. 

It's not the money, its the Anger. These people deserve punishment beyond what the law allows. 

If some are outright banned or 'put in apb jail' for cheat points, they will simply change accounts 

and come back and take it out on those they know dont hack. 

They aren't gonna want to fight other hackers, and most missions have alt accounts on both sides, 

so these cheat points arent gonna really work with such a low pop, and it may take another year to get 

enough points to get an actual ban. So sard is useless before it begins. 

 So The only reason I play now, is to find ways to punish them in a tos friendly way. 

OK Matt Scott won't punish them, and seems to forgive past and current and even future violators.

Because he has nothing to catch them in place yet = future. 

 I Don't. Now if it simply the toxic or hacker cheating LO out of something, then it would be between them and 

LO. But it is personal because the hax n tox make it that way. And if they ban me, Ill make another. 

Seems to work for the hackers so it'll work for me.

But I'm not gonna let them bait me into it. 

There is a Boundary line, if I cross that line, I'm no better than they are.
