[PSA] Clear your logs folder to free up space

In case you didn't know: APB has some rather large log files.

 

Here is my logs folder from one play session (I clear mine often):

 

After a few hours of gameplay I have collected ~565 MB of log files. You can imagine how large they must get for people who don't clear their logs!

 

To delete your logs, navigate to the APB Reloaded/APBGame/Logs folder and simply delete the contents.

 

 

 

HOWEVER, if you want to permanently save space while reducing writes to the same disk your game is on, I recommend making a symlink.

 

To do this all you need to do is open a command prompt (dont forget to do run it as admin) and enter in the following command:

 

mklink /J "Desired Directory" "Source Directory"

 

For example, here is mine: mklink /J "F:\LOGS\APB" "C:\GAMES\Steam Library\SteamApps\common\APB Reloaded\APBGame\Logs"

Also organize your screenshots  delete what you don't need and have a laugh as you look through em.

(about 2 mb's a screenshot no one needs 12 exact screenshots of the scoreboard)

Also for people still running on normal HDDs. I imagine the constant log writing of that verbosity would eat up write speed and make performance even worse considering the game is also writing cache to the same drive (different folder).
