Why ?

Why is it that game developers, whose primary responsibility is to take care of the game and the community, continuously neglect it? How dare they even call this work? On what basis do they ask for any money when the community is toxic, player count equals zero, the development of a new game engine not only makes no progress but the game keeps getting worse? Even in populated districts, the game fails to provide missions, and when it does, it's impossible to call for backup because it ends after 1-2 seconds.

 

The gameplay is filled with bugs that didn't even exist before. Not to mention the atrocious unresponsive vehicle handling, the ridiculous hitboxes (whether it's for players or nonexistent walls where cars get stuck, etc.).

 

It's sad to see a game with such potential being neglected by its owners, gradually dismantling the community. I ask, what's the plan? What goes through the head of the project manager at Little Orbit at times like this? With the amount of money, time, and energy they've spent on the nonexistent new engine, a Pakistani indie team could have already developed a completely new game with identical gameplay and a million times fewer flaws.

 

The game has given me more than 10 happy years, and is this what I have to see? Is this what we, as players, have to see? I ask, where is the sense of responsibility on the part of the developers? If they don't want or can't deal with it, then why don't they pass it on? Or make it open source, with every element included, and I'm sure the community will find a way to revive it.

See, the sense of responsibility is indeed there. The Dev is fairly active on Discord and work is indeed happening.

and address the issues with the new car not having police lights???

WHY does Matt Hide and not address Hacking, MM, Server Crash's, ect. 

Why is there not even Maintenance announcements and 

Why does the launcher indicate that Easter Events started on 

March 13-20/Via web site, yet the last announcement by forum gm's says

St. Patricks day started on March 13, Yet according to Google, Easter is on 

March 31. 

 They are conspiring to X out Western Religious Holidays by tricking us into 

believing that Easter had already past before St. Patricks Day cuz it says so on

 the Launcher, n they always leave the last " Event" on the launcher for months.

Fire all of LO if I don't get Police lights on My new car, n Ya either rent a decent server

or you close NA n Merge to EU. How I am 60 miles from the West server at 1 ms n it runs more 

patootie than if I goto EU at 170ms

He's not exaaactly hiding. See, the Dev communicating on Discord was actually a blessing. It is the job of Community Managers to be more talkative. The Dev's job is to work on the game. Naturally, he's not supposed to be on the forums.

 

Matt made his speech in the roadmap but of course, results aren't fully there yet for him to appear promptly.

 

The Launcher being inaccurate surely sucks. Good thing it isn't critical but yes, definitely laziness, no excuses there.

 

Best of luck with car lights. Can't say when they'll happen.

 

The merge isn't supposed to be a traditional full merge. It will allow server travel but NA should be able to play strictly with NA. At least that was the proven plan as seen on that ancient Open Beta. Pray Phasing (cross-district matching) won't also mess that up.

For "efforts" . . . No freaking idea what you're talking about.

If a team is seriously working and following a planned agenda: efforts become actions/progress,  then actions become results,  bad or good they may be . . . the matter here it's, the community barely've seen any action at all, MucH LeSS Efforts

Do you know how to lose credibility and trust?  The recipe is simple. Does not fulfill his promises or do them in a way that would be better not to do. You talk a lot in vain. Ignore the people who trust you.

I don't understand your logic. You are selling a product. The buyer tells you where your product is bad. You completely ignore him, and continue to rub the sign and the window.

Lol, Well Somebody needs to come address some of these issues.

As you can see civil order is breaking down, people are throwing bar stools and table candles.

Aside from My Police Lights, people want updates on the MM and Server stability.

 If nothing else simply an acknowledgement.

We don't even know if the dev knows no police lights can be put on the car,

or if they were aware of the server issues. If the server issues were caused by hackers 

or the provider? If coding lights for the car is in the works.

 Ya know issues are issues, but when you add that lack of communication, people 

begin to speculate and rage, n if one gets started the rest jump on the wagon.

No idea why  we continue "see people "not-in- Lo- Paycheck" bore to answer  in behalf of LO staff  ,  before it was just about Cookie/Frosi and their  silly BS coming from nowhere, now a new mytomaniac-challenger is approaching 

Anyway whatever, if it's not the facts, it's always time which debunk the hypocrisis of certain supposed "accurate informations"  . . .

 

Luckily for LO, for what they care aka nothing in this case so LMAO,   you're not officially in their paycheck and I hope you'll have not the displeasure of working/manage in sales/clients for someone in present & future time,  because honestly writing something like yours it's like pissing in windward, seeing the frequency and how much time has passed from last time, you've basically said LO staff is terrorized to directly relase official informations nowadays.
