Consumable Mods

I run Fragile and Hard Landings as my main mods, I like to have Med Spray as my consumable, but I'm usually fresh out of them.

I wish there was a way that you could select what consumables you get from missions, other than those Boom Boxes, EPI Pens, etc. Maybe, just put them up on the JT store to buy that would be nice.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't see any way to get a specific consumable consistently, because I rely on MED Spray pretty hard for my loadout. Any Ideas?

Been saying it for years, the consumables should just be converted to yellow character mods with their effects and cooldowns rebalanced accordingly.

Consumables should be permanent as any other player mod... they already have a Delay to use it again, why limit them when you can't even buy them as you please?

the ammo box one is broken tho, it wont let you change weapons now, so they need to fix that first before making them permanent

that was an intentional change

Im not crazy about it either, but it seems most players like it.

Now you have to be more careful what you choose with character mods.

The orange character mod "Field Supplier" still allows for inventory access and use btw.

IMO

Destiny 2 recently received a huge praise for giving us the option on the rewards we get from an activity called menagerie, if we could actuality select what kind of consumable we could farm (like the mentioned example) it would be pretty cool.

 

plus it would be a pretty cool opportunity to add different sorts of daily challenges, for anyone who has already finished the game, while giving the ground work to add more consumables without clogging the consumable loot pool.

I'd be happy to see them become permanent as well. I have far too many sitting in the mail box.
