well. if you're a company, there's many things you want to accomplish. you want to create a quality product. once you create a product you think you can sell, you also want to make your game accessible to as many people as you can if appropriate. if there was no sort of aim assist on console, no one would play it because it would just feel awful and very tedious. i mean i guess if people spent enough time, they wouldn't need aim assist, but with the limitations of the controller, the last thing you want to do as a company is to alienate those who don't want to spend all that time and just want to simply play a game. and if everyone on console is using aim assist against each other, they're basically on the same field, it's now just a matter of who is able to use their controller to move their crosshairs over an enemy player faster. it's only an issue if console players with aim assist are crossplaying with pc players. (cough rogue company cough)

i don't think that's the point. it's just a really bad sign if a player's progression is halted because there's not enough players in a district that they need to advance forward. i'm going to assume they're playing on jericho servers.

but that doesnt address their main problem in that they want to progress the game, but can't because the population is too low. sucks that they only have two options...or three technically. wait for population, play on a new character, or not play the game at all.

I think you over deleted some posts. the weird part is that Unit Game offered a sum so considerable that MattScott said APB would be financially comfortable. and yet, not a single word of development of anything from Unit Game. so was it just simply a bad investment? this really makes no sense.

how would a "loyal apb player" help you? they're still just a player. doesn't make sense because they said they don't have any records of it and its not a fact? if you went through support and they said they can't help you then you're out of luck.

idk how long you've been around for but usually when a <gm> or related tag shows up next to a player's name in chat in the game, they typically get overwhelmed with a whole lot of nonsense, shitposting and trolling.

just to state it for the record: before it was "hey, you guys should let the public help in testing stuff. we'll even do it for free" to "i think you should give us something to play this"

i've had that error code before, but it would happen VERY rare by itself. it would happen more often when I unplugged my audio interface from my computer, but that wouldn't be in the game. according to https://neosmart.net/wiki/irql-not-less-or-equal/ "The IRQL error is a memory related error that often appears if a system process or a driver attempts to access a memory address without proper access rights." two random things i'd suggest to do that are relatively easy. 1. if you have avast antivirus, uninstall it. honestly, you don't need antivirus if you practice good internet habits and common sense. avast also caused a lot of crashes for me. 2. reseat your ram sticks. take them out, and put them back in. you should also post your specifications and what your computer recognizes as well in dxdiag. usually the more information, the better in these type of posts
