It does not really matter at this point honestly. In terms of modifying game files, it has been speculated/said that the engine upgrade will/may restrict/stop the modification of files. So I would honestly just wait and not care since all this "Cheater Crosshair" stuff has been around for over 5 years, maybe even since the game was bought by G1. (As you can see theres a lot of "/" since I don't 100% remember the exact wording used) Ulexos, thats just like saying that my Anti-Virus should not be allowed because it gets blocked by EAC when I start the game.

If this has been mentioned before please lock the thread. Essentially, there is a file in the game directory in the Movies folder named APBFirstSpawnTutorial.bik, this file has been here for a while and has not been used since G1 took over (to my knowledge). Why not use this to help new players understand the game better as it has a lot of information that will speed up understanding the various systems such as specifically mentioned pledging. I have converted the video and uploaded it so have a look for yourself and share your opinion down bellow, I brought this forward due to the tutorial possibly getting redone for after Engine upgrade? (if this information is correct).

Although that's a great idea, by adding existing guns to the setup, you are robbing people of all the money they have spent as well as like with all ARMAS guns, you are stopping them from being traded. I feel that Legenderies from JMBs are an important aspect to APB as is rn, due it to driving up the Marketplace as well as offering unique solutions to weapons that are not *yet* available on the Joker Store. Yes, people don't like this idea, yes some legenderies in the past were broken. But we are past the P2W mentality as it stands now. That said many players still think "Your gold gun noob, p2w". As for "loot boxes being abusive", sure. but no one is forcing you to buy those. You have the option of the previously mentioned Joker Store or to straight up purchase a similar weapon from the vast catalog that ARMAS provides. Loot boxes are just there as a alternative, that's just my opinion. Don't hate, express yours.

All this considered, before work picked up on the Engine upgrade we (the community) decided that we do not want matchmaking fixes, no new cars, not guns, etc. Just finish the engine. We dont reserve the right to just blame LO for matters that have been affecting players since way before their time. Yes it is an issue, I believe Matt has even acknowledge so publicly. Thirdly we (the public perspective) dont know how the engine and builds actually behave, Matt stated that "The engine runs on hacks", esentially meaning that the way things are implemented are Junky, this is why there are so many issues with the SCPT builds, assuming that changing features in the engine to compensate for such a simple idea is easy may not be the case at all. Be patient, ignore it. Learn from your deaths and become a better player. That's all that I have to share.
