Im find with a few "dungeons," but like I said, Id like to see some other creative content thrown in as well. I really think we could brainstorm and come up with ideas. On the "dungeon" front Id like to see them involve more than one group. Not just 3 teams needed to fight one boss for ten minutes. Maybe team A is going for the boss while team B is in a different part fighting to get to a computer that has to be hacked to open up door that team C has to get thru to meet another objective.

I agree the lack pve content is a serious issue, as I stated in my own post of reasons Ive left over the years. Im just not so sure about the need for "dungeons." FEs main selling point has always been that its different then all the other MMOs... why turn it into them. There has to be some alternate ideas we can come up with.

Did not see his original thread but he did add into mine

Yes this is another thing that came out while arguing with paymentwall. They let it slip that the charge is supposed to be 36$ and change. The price on G1 says 35$.... added on fees should be declared a bit more predominantly.

It is also possible Im only one that has cared enough to complain.

Just a follow up. Once paymentwall finally responded they said my bank denied the payment. Bank informed me not only did they not deny it, but the attempt was never made by paymentwall. Ive spent several hours over the last few days going back and forth. Even registered my card with another 3rd party as paymentwall requested... still wont go thru. I reached the point where I no longer care. You guys don't need my money, fine, I just spent it on a preorder for the new Fallout. Just a little food for thought.... Getting vet players to come back is great. It will do a lot for the in game experience. Revenue wise though.. not so much. We are mostly level capped. We don't need a sub. Mass majority doesn't need anything from the cash shop; we have everything we need. Personally only reason I was picking up a sub and cash shop items was because I decided to delete one my 55s so could level up a character along side my roomie so she wouldn't get lonely. Revenue will not come from us vets. It will come from new players. Only reason I went thru so much effort to try to purchase things is because Im a vet that is invested in the game already. How many new players do you think will go thru all that when they feel no connection to the game? Very... very.. very few new players would go thru that crap. Soon as they hit the wall I did they are going to say "the hell with this" and go download another MMO. Do what you want with that information.

Glad someone said it before I had to ;)

Something you might want to check into. Today I was going to pickup wastelander sub, buy a wardrobe all unlock, and few pieces of clothing and paints. When transferred to paymentwall to use my credit card and tried to purchase... nothing happens. No errors, messages of payment not going thru, nothing. Tried 5 times. No response when sent an inquiry either. Just seems strange to me that a game that has profit issues to not want my 50$. Your payment provider needs a good chewing out. (before anyone says it.. the other payment options are just not a feasible option in my country.)

Old items made available to new players

No! they let the inner Kitty come out... -
That would require building a new game from the ground up. Fallen Earth II. Engines are not plug in play. Not saying the feature cant be done in current engine; but as Nysek said there is hurtles. As much as we love FE there is no denying it never had the best coding. While Im not flaming the original devs (all the respect for their attempt and hard work) the truth is he engine could be called a amateur/hobby engine compared to most MMOs. You have to keep in mind Icarus Studios was a small independent company trying to break into a big time industry. Coding a MMO is no joke (saw a interview once where a NASA programmer said MMO coding was more complicated than any program NASA used.) IS could only dream of the resources of the AAA big dogs. That's why I have respect for them. Also keep in mind FE wasn't all about the game. It was developed to show off their platform/engine they wanted to market to other companies. It was never stable enough which probably contributed to them going out of business. Again... not slamming the devs or saying they didn't care about the game. I had personal chats with a couple of them during beta and they were great guys who really wanted to give us a good experience. Question also has to be asked.... does the new owners have full access to the source code? Development access and source code access is two different animals. Not a 100% analogy but think being able to mod a game vs coding the game. The tools only allow you to change so much.

sadly the engines have nothing in common so comparison cant be made. Don't get me wrong; it would be iconic if we could have pickups with a machine gun mounted in bed that a 2nd player could "man," Im just not sure it would be feasible technology wise.

Cat Ears?!?!?! Bring them back and Ill never take another vacation from FE, join Hazmat... Id even turn from my evil Tech ways and join Vista for a pair.... -
Ive started and fell in love with FE back in early beta; but sadly haven't been the most loyal player. While a hand full of players have stuck to the game through the years, I would come and go. Fact I kept missing FE and coming back for another look says something about the game at least. Of all the MMOs I ve played over the years; FE always held a special place in my heart. I cant say that for any other game. The others.. when I grew bored of.. I never went back latter, not one of them. After hearing FE is "under new management," I got to thinking about the reasons I would take vacations from the game. 1. Quests became pointless after you've seen the story line during first play thru once . Yeah there was a day you did specific ones on alts because of AP, that reason doesn't even stand anymore since there is other ways to top off AP (which I agree is good thing.) The rewards are just useless at levels you get them. 2. Factions were made useless. They just serve no point anymore. And no... saying there is too many factions and removing any is not the answer. Well.. maybe enforcers and chota.. those guys are just weirdos ;p Factions was one of FEs selling points. Players need to accept everyone doesn't get to be the same; choices should matter and benefits should be gained from those choices. Give factions meaning again. And please do not return to flipping the faction wheel. If person wants to flip factions it should be take some work to get another faction to trust you. Maybe a long drawn out quest. 3. There is, and never was, a endgame. Nothing.. zilch... you hit lvl cap and twiddle your thumbs. Not even a reason to farm bosses because you get nothing in return. And just saying there is PvP doesn't cut it. Not everyone PvPs and majority that did grew bored with it after the same thing over and over (if they didn't then why are they all gone.). Before anyone says dome.. it was a momentary stop gap. How long did it take for players to burn thru that? Im not saying just raise level cap. Your grind out 5 more levels then what... nothing to do again. Give us something to do.. be creative.. FE was always different from mainstream MMOs. Tossing in a couple dungeons is just over done. 4. Cash shop. Ok I don't mind the idea of the cash shop since its not P2W. But the prices... considering theres a sub (optional I know).. and a cash shop... that's just outrageous double dipping. I like to buy cosmetics just as much as the next guy. Have no issue at all carrying a sub and buying some cool items from time to time. Just don't gouge us when we do. And for the love of all the gods... enuff with the industries "surprise packs" in the cash shops. We spend money.... then we wont to know what we are buying. When one guy can buy 3 boxes and get 3 items that sell for a bundle on the AH.. then another guy buys 5 boxes and gets 5 crap items that vendor don't even want to buy... that's just insulting the person who spent money to support the game. 5. Player housing. Ok I give up on this because no matter how much potential it has... never going to happen. Since Im not whining for it, I have a different request. Either give us choices in endgame weapons, or of allow us wardrobe slots for them. Id love to play a melee char but refuse because I either have to carry two glow in the dark sex toys or a ridiculously big axle on my back that no one could possibly lift and swing.

Complete Guide to Skills and Mutations
Kitsae replied to NysekZePope's topic in New Player FAQs and Guides
I noticed it was said that mutation damage is more viable now. Would a mutation/heavy weapon build be viable for PVE these days?
