    Just the materials of iPhone alone cost about 450$ roughly. RRP is about 1000$, so...profit margin is 122%. But this is not pure profit, subtract labour cost, taxes, transport and the margin becomes "reasonable".

    Those cases cost like 2$ to produce(including labour), Razer sells them for 40$. 1900% margin.

    Come on. almost all of them already had EU/US accounts so they knew about it. And even if they didn't  it's pretty damn obvious it's not allowed.

    Can't get rid of the trash in this game it seems.

    Either we are being lied to or there is something fishy going on  or this is an attempt by LO to cut further losses before dipping from this game :P.

    Registered two months ago but according to Matt Scott they develop strong IPs markets from Taiwan to China however I didn't find the company registered in Taiwan. That's quite the progress in 2 months.

    Notice the two statements, both about what CEOs say but they have different format,  one is missing the name of Unit Game CEO.

    To me it looks like this company was registered for the sole purpose of acquiring APB. Not to go in conspiracy theories but it's just strange. Oh, and Hong Kong is tax haven.

    I actually expected you to jump ship once you figure out APB is a mess. I was 1/2 wrong:)

    As long as people with asian mentality have no say in APB:R I guess it's okay...

    And Hong-Kong company? Yikes. In few years Tencent will have share in APB. Winnie the Pooh symbols will be banned.

    I watched some russian "streamer" yesterday and they were talking about the banwave, having a giggle about one of their people who got caught triggerbotting. My russian sucks so I couldn't catch the entire convo. Also talked about  some guy and whether or not he got banned from FACEIT. But you know..they are not cheating..at all:^)

    If that was the case then they would have dealt with the cyrillic last week. This "mega server" decision is a new one, possibly even decided during Gamescom. That or they are seriously bad at planning and managing their roadmap for the game.

    The plan was to have cross-district matchmaking, they've never said a word about merging EU and NA and really who does this for a shooting game. Now we will be supposedly matched against players from over 5500km...

    EvE has one server but it's not a shooter where latency really matters.

    The announcement explains it badly but the way I get is that there will be one server with instances across multiple geo. locations. 

    Fine I guess until the part about phasing where the best district will be chosen. And if I get matched against US player? There's no server location between EU and US so which is best? Because I'm really not looking forward playing with 100+ms.

    You will need to do a name wipe but 1 year inactivity is too low. 3 years maybe is better And lets not forget some people have paid for name change. Changing their names sucks.

    And about cyrillic to english characters transition - sorry but wtf? Didn't you just merge russians with cyrillic names. You should have made that transition last week, not in the future. Yet another thing that's mismanaged. 

     

    I foresee a massive clusterf.ck really.

     

    And if I have learnt anything from playing MMOs for decades is that when companies start to merge servers it means the dead is imminent.

    Like, even if your point is completely parallel from the thread's topic, that doesn't take away that what's going on in bronze has been detrimental for the game's playerbase and player-atitude for about half a decade now.

    APB's pop count also is not in a state where you can just cherry pick which streamer to give a warm welcome and which streamer to give the middle finger, be it for personal reasons or not.

     

    Instead of pointing fingers like a child, grow up and admit that you guys are participating for a good part in the demise of this game with your shit attitude towards each other and new players. 

    Maybe try to look further ahead than nose lenght for once when it comes to this game. Just for once.

    It's not off-topic at all.  It's about the streamer and the community. 

    Is this game's community horrible? Yes, it is. What they did wasn't nice at all. But to go and point finger at them while the streamer is not any better is hypocritical. I can't remember ever tbag someone in a game I've just started, or trash talk. This really raises the red flag instantly about what kind of person he's.

    I really have no problems people calling out the stream-snipers  even if I think he got what he was asking for HOWEVER I do have problem with people trying to lecture others and pretending to be morally superior after they sh.tted on the game for years but suddenly, you see, the community is toxic! Such people don't care about the game, they care about themselves, their lives resolve around APB, it's the only place where they will ever have some relevance, even if it's negative.

     

    Basically flaws - it doesn't matter streamer is toxic, all it matters that he has 50 viewers and can bring people.

    No thank you. As I said - I don't want people like that in the game or to promote the game. Got plenty of them already.

    First of all, I was one of the people in his chat, spending 1-2 hours of free my time to explain the game for him and I saw him quitting live. I've personally written the most detailed up-to-date guide for beginners and certain monkeys are going around undoing all of that to get some attention. You are an idiot if you think that this can somehow be justified. I talk to new players on a daily basis, teaching them how to get into APB and what do you do? You write literal garbage on the forums all day long that legit no one gives a single f*** about and never has and I bet you probably complained about the game having low pop a few times too.

     

    You damage the game directly and you sh*t all over others' time, effort and work for a bit of pathetic attention.

     

    Second of all, some of you seem to be too short-sighted to see the whole point in why this is bad on a larger scale. That person is a streamer twice the size of the average APB streamer and he is also friends with another streamer who is of similar size as our current biggest APB streamer and is even a professional at another game (I am referring to the guy that was playing with him and trying to get him into APB). You can't sh*t out "he was t-bagging therefore he deserved it" unless you are completely inept at seeing the bigger picture. We need new players and more of those will come from streamers who have audiences. If they start bad mouthing APB further right now, right prior to an Engine Upgrade coming up, it's going to deter players as an engine swap does not make the community any more friendly to newbies. When you see this sh*t live on stream or when you hear about it from a friend who's seen it or heard about it, are you going to want to play a game as blatantly toxic as this? You need to understand that in order to get business, the game needs players, ALL PLAYERS. Whether they t-bag, they curse, they act edgy.. ALL OF THAT is IRRELEVANT.

     

    I've been here since 2010 and I always think that the community can't get worse and yet here we are. Good job, you know who you are.

    Nobody is justifying it. We are pointing out his sh.it attitude and he's like what? One hour in the game and he already tbags and shittalks, something tells me he's not really a sunshine. APB doesn't need more toxic players, I can't feel bad about him.

    Oh noes, he's a streamer and his friend is "professional", yet he lacks any total sense and thinks apb is p2w. Anyway, games used to thrive before even without social parasites, sorry I mean ...streamers.

    If you want to get good at APB, you have to put in work and get good. If you magically expect to pick the game up and just beat everyone up and be god-tier, you're an honest to god moron. Look at Summit. His aim is better than most players in this game. yet when he plays and doesnt get griefed, he STILL SUCKS. You know why? He refuses to learn the maps, missions, guns, mechanics or anything else. He just ASSUMES he's gonna be #1 cus he has good aim in OTHER GAMES.

     

    Again, with all due respect, the streamer alt-f4'd and I hope he doesn't ever come back. And if he does, he better stick to the bronze district off stream and show a little more respect to the game, or he's gonna be in some more huge disappointing patootie beatings.

    Macros can be detected easily as long as the devs are willing to actually detect them. Every injected input can be detected through certain flags if one knows the windows kernel.

    You can write some kernel drivers sh.t to bypass it but this is beyond the scope of the 99.9% of the script kiddies in online games.

    How about not giving google more power than they already have? Tech giants already acting like a nanny state.

    What we need is a worldwide system like that in south korea where you are required SSN.

    Or require phone number verification through official apb app installed on the phone to avoid free online services that other verification.

    inb4 "I dont have a cellphone"....this excuse is as bad as "the dog ate my homework".

    So either people will need to steal someone elses SSN which will be real felony or endless supply of sim cards to continue cheating.

    Hardly... Good  IPS panel with 144hz is still expensive. And one will need to spend a lot of cash for modern implementation of VA that comes close to IPS colors. TNs are cheap but colors are washed out even on the more expensive ones.

    Russia is doing massive hybrid-war in the ex eastern bloc for years.
