    As a person who HAS to emply strategy in their matches because opponents have open quote " god aim " closing quote. Kevlar was a tool I did genuinely use for the scenarios it was useful at. A slightly better coordinated teampush to the objective or a all-or-nothing solo defend.

     

    Also I don't mind the M9 getting nerfed even if it is my favourite gun (cause of the Legendary Silencer). But while I understand that people complain and compare it to the .45 ACP. PLEASE do not let the .45 ACP go unscathed. It will be COMPLETELY biased to nerf a pistol that got somewhat good and then not deal with the stupid garbage that people have been complaining about for YEARS.

    There are other pistols with silencers. It's your "favourite" because it wasn't just "somewhat good", it was  broken - pocket smg/carbine as a secondary. And even after the "nerf" which just less ammo in the mag it's still the top contender in pistol category.

    With the current baseline of pistols, .45 doesn't need a nerf. It has recoil and small magazine with a very narrow leeway for misses.

    Always thought each purchase adds 5% progress until it reaches 100% and a guaranteed weapon. 

    That being said, isn't "1" in the green box indicating the number the weapons you have in your inventory?

    If you used it wrong and wasted Joker tickets I suggest contacting support and asking for a refund because nowhere ingame is explained how does the system work so it's LO's fault

    What kind of matchmaking do you expect with 300 players? Of course it's going to be bad!

    Need more people but you can't grow and foster a playerbase  with the issues this game is plagued with, such as objective locations and spawns.

    But instead of working on the above mentioned issues, they just add useless contacts, buff range weapons, add M9 pistol and make smg obsolete.

    One of the devs is long-time APB player. Surely he didn't think this is a good idea?!

     

    Last but not least - cheaters and toxicity. I don't expect anything from that inhouse anti-cheat "solution" they made but at least they can put effort to make people behave.

    So SARC Anti-Cheat, previously Frost  Security which was  the russians(Innova) inhouse security solution?

    Their address is in Armenia, founders are ethnic armenians but company has a strong russian connection. The region there has a strong fifth column... Don't know if the armenian address is not just a proxy to possibly evade sanctions(after 2014 and 2022). They are using "AI"/ML so they need chips, something that is not supplied to Russia via normal channels.

     

    Mind you, you are going to grant kernel level access to this company... Not saying anything dubious is going on but you never know.

    If 35% have been falsely banned then unban them - the rest? Keep them banned if you don't have enough evidence it's a false positive.

    This whole thing sounds hogwash.  The fact that they also unban "players who violated our terms and conditions, such as selling items online or bad conduct in game" only bolsters this feeling.  This is not false positive.

    Suddenly, "a multi-year ban for those kinds of mistakes seems punishment enough.". What a coincidence, they just decided that this is long enough punishment.

    I can tolerate LO's failures when it comes to technical stuff but not going to tolerate no integrity. They can keep saying how this is the most fair thing to do but it ain't.

    The mental breakdown is real! It's been a day, go outside and touch grass, play something else.

     

    You should be thankful for LO and personally Matt Scott for saving this game and allowing you to play for another 4+ years. 

    Right now this game is not profitable and any cut-throat company would simply shut it down, I genuinely believe at this point Matt Scott is keeping this game up out of pity.

    Just shut down this game already if you can't deal with the cheaters at some respectable level. At least it's going to be satisfactory to listen to the lamentations of those brainlets. How are they going to live without their edgy non-sense 2 syllables names? What are they going to do? Is there a life after APB?

    So your email got compromised...and I assume you get an alert for login from a different location...but you do nothing to prevent further damage? But say you don't, lets dive into the possibilities.

     

    There's a data breach somewhere and Attacker gains credentials for your email. Attacker logins, finds out you play APB and decides put APB account credentials on marketplace. Are you telling me they went through every service to check the password? For hundreds or thousand of people? No...it's time consuming.

    - If your email and APB re-use the same password, Attacker would either have to change the APB's email or password otherwise whoever buys the credentials for APB may get access to your email....Attacker doesn't want this.

    - if your APB account credentials are different from the email, they still need to change the password so they can put it on marketplace. But here's what YOU said

    I think he sold it to save his skin. He made the terrible decision to acquire G1. LO has some private investors, I don't think they were happy that lots of money were wasted and no return of investment. Just a theory.

     

    They could maybe  pull off APB "2" from the scratch with 1 map. Got voices, concept art, map design.... And with the modern development tools that make things easier than 15 years ago,  they had a chance for some early access which would have been far better option.  It's impossible now. GG.

    "Saved". Just like you keep a dying  patient on life support rather than pulling the plug and saving them from the misery.

    Nothing was achieved in those 4 years.  And I haven't played for 2 years because the RTX crash(30 minutes FC every few months). And I'm not the only one.

    RTX fix after EU, right? Oh, wait...

    Not that I believed there would be EU and even then I said RTX fix should be top priority. If people can't play ...they won't spend money.

     

    And lets be real. They didn't keep this game running because us but because they were naive or incompetent to spend millions of  I assume investors money to purchase G1. They really wanted that return of investment. Doubt they are even break-even.
