yes it's been happening to others from Australia as well ,
i use to get between 200 - 230ms to the U.S and 350ms to Europe
now it is 400 - 500ms to the U.S and Europe is the same 350ms ,
quite unplayable actually
doing a ping test to Dallas Texas shows the normal 220ms
but in game it's 400 - 500ms so i'd say there is some ISP routing issues going on
Thanks Matt , i did do a speed test at the time from Australia to Texas and it was normalish 220 - 230 ms
which still isn't great but that's beyond your or my control ,the test you linked me to is showing between 200 - 220 ms
i'll check it out again so cheers mate
Hi Matt , don't know if you've changed server locations or something but i now get 480ms to jerico
up from around 220ms , which is totally unplayable , citadel hasn't changed though still getting 350ms to there
you possibly need to install runtime files here's an all in one runtime pack which should help ,
the downloads on the right hand side (374MB}

while your at it you'd better remove extra cash from missions as that's not fair for f2p
and probably should remove the customization benefits as well ,that's also not fair as it gives a personalization advantage
might as well just remove premium i guess as there will be no reason to purchase it
hey just stick in the final nail and allow all armas weapons/items to be purchased in game , job done
you can try going to your APB folder right click on it go to security / Edit and allow all permissions for system ,admin and user etc.
that's what worked for me
try unparking your cpu cores and change power mode to high performance
here's a link to the app http://www.coderbag.com/programming-c/disable-cpu-core-parking-utility
and a vid showing you how
hi i had this problem last week and did everything to fix it
it turned out to be the motherboard bios update ,
i needed to go back to the bios that came out previous to the ryzen 2 being released
or the bridging version for me it was 3.30 (asrock taichi)
depending on your motherboard it could be a different version
in my experience the later versions of the bios do some rare quirky things in odd programs
even though they test stable
