Shadow Banned

Good day, has anyone else gotten a false shadow ban in the past few days?

 

If so how does one fix the problem, what have you done to fix it?

 

I have never and will never cheat on games( to me it makes no sense to do so)

i haven't noticed the AC working in over a month or since xmas event at least.

If anything the only program working is the AntiLegit. 

LO is extremely toxic towards legit players in my opinion. 

Hackers try to shame you n gas light you into hacking.

LO seems to let them run the show, MM still putting legits vs known golds. 

People with license plate names, blatant speed hackers, they all get rewarded 

with gold and ignored by LO and the AC, while legits are banned and harassed. 

 Part of the Shadow ban plan was to put hax vs hax, but with a low pop it puts the hax vs 

anyone who is there. 

 That said I could consider myself shadowed because they always put a bronze vs golds.

 I could crack silver but just barely n then one loss n its bronze again so not much reason to try. 

If i mission i just show up, because i know its gonna be a dethreat, you're not gonna win against these 

people when they have LO protecting them, rewarding them with gold and threat locking legit players. 

Officially I would say U need to contact support, but we know that will be a waste of time. 

They made it pretty obvious they hate legit players with the discord ban.

Hi, Thanks for your detailed reply. I was thinking this is the case of low pop there is many legit players that will be punished by the system thinking they are hackers.

 

Anyways i did send them a email, will see what they say. well if the ever come back too me.

Yup; same here. Falsely shadow banned and GM Spike told me that their AC detected "3rd party software" and to basically suck an egg... Only 3rd party thing I use for APB is steam... 2011 Character is now useless and It's really pissed me off

That sucks dude! Mine is from 2013. And spend quite a few bucks on the game as well.

 

Anyways I'm waiting on my feedback, had to send them a bunch of info.

it seems they picked a handful of people at random and banned them, yet for whatever reason someone can make a new account. cheat, and get away with it for several days. good luck on support. last time i tried to use them i gave them info like you. then they deemed that i was "attempting to steal an account" and threatened me with a ban. even though one of said questions was the IP address. which the account logged into which was mine and my ip address. Then again this is the same company that threat to ban a friend of mine for asking to change a name she had stolen back. which cost her ten dollars.

 

So over LO is getting a rough -9/10 in scoring. they clearly could give less of a shit about both APB and FE. the other two games they never did shit with. the gms suck and do nothing, one game is full of cheaters there aware of and do little, and they love to threaten bans over everything. 

 

go ahead and mute me and delete this post like you always do forum mods like making me reread the rules and a temp ban is going to make me regret my actions

Thankfully; I logged on a few hours ago and the first Match I get was a for what we will call a "Player" to be "Speed Hacking" whilst carrying a 5 weight Heavy Barrel.. glitch hop across the map getting it to their BASE... MM put me against them again only for me to have gained footage of them them since . Anyway.

I have no idea if you were falsely shadow banned or not, so good luck if it was a false ban.

On the other hand, I would like to say that support has responded and solved two major problems I had with my account in 2 weeks. The game understandably has a lot of problems, but support is not one speaking from experience.

I can't say that APBs perfection brought out too early and a lot of fun. and even with coming back to what mentioned can only still be thankful that the games still 'alive', and what could finally actually crossplatform. Matts also been on UE uproot and insuring Content drop will be spicy. Patience.

Fir me I knew Something was amiss when FC was playable on reports that others had issues.. sucks to suck when FC is hard to find

I Believe i definitely got false ban, but yeah will see what they believe/find.

 

So far support has been quite quick too come back too me. Yeah the game still needs a lot to fix that is for sure.

sadly neither LO nor G1 ever banned those who abused the barrel and medium item glitches, let alone put out a warning. They mostly fixed it with the barrels, but thats the first i've seen where someone was able to bypass the forced animation pause now for heavy items. Would be interesting if yeh sent that too them though. They put some hard animation locks in place for heavy items, so it  was considered fixed for heavy items for the longest time. But medium item version remains today.

 

That said, any form of macro could be picked up along with automation of sorts. Not just general cheats now that they finally updated things. So it may be possible that people could end up banned from hardware, not just software macros. A lot of games are restricting them heavily now to prevent abuse.

So here is the replies i have received, and short story I'm deeply disappointed that for someone that has never been banned on any game or platform to be treated like this is just sad.

 

I have been playing since 2013 and put money in to support with the game, anyways (Seems like I'm banned from matchmaking for good)

 

The person who assisted me on Support is called "Spike".

 

He asked me a bunch of question to answer to find my account and make sure I'm the owner of the account.

 

These:

 

1. Provide the email address for your account.
2. Was the account ever listed under another email?
3. Was the account ever banned before?
4. Have you requested support from us for the account before?
5. What is your date of birth?
6. If you log in using Steam, please provide us with your 16–17-digit Steam64 ID
7. (you can find it here: https://steamidfinder.com/)
8. What are your character names and on which servers are they located?
9. What is the registration date of your account?
10. What is the country of registration for your account?
11. What is your current IP address or any past IP addresses? (IPV4 version)
12. (You can find it here: https://whatismyipaddress.com)
13. When was the last time you were able to access your account successfully?
14. Do you have any transaction IDs of purchases made on the account?
15. Any additional information you think will assist us further.

 

I gave my answer and this was the reply:

 

"Hello there,
 
After reviewing your account, we have confirmed that it was found to be using third-party programs or tools. The use of such programs is strictly prohibited as it disrupts fair play and the overall integrity of the game.
 
As a result, your account has been restricted from matchmaking."

 

 

I then replied with:

 

"Hello Spike,

 

Thank you so much for the speedy response.

 

So the only new software I have installed over that time was software for a new keyboard I got.

(The software is used to program the keyboards rgb lighting, and battery status(It's a wireless keyboard) and setup shortcuts as it's a 65% keyboard layout)

 

I will attach the software as I believe this might have triggered this.

 

 

Otherwise at that time i did stream over Twitch as well.

 

Please let me know if you require any more information

 

Thank you again."

 

 

Then he replied:

 

"Hello there,
 
We understand your perspective, but we must reiterate that the ban on your account was thoroughly investigated and validated. While we respect the effort you’ve put into the game, the evidence reviewed confirms the action taken.
 
We are not at liberty to discuss any further details; however, the decision remains final, and there will be no changes to the sanction."

 

 

 

So i then replied:

 

"Hi,

 

Thank you.

 

So that's it? You can check my steam account and how long I have been on APB Reloaded. I have never been banned from any game I have ever played.

 

I do not understand how this is. So now my account will stay banned forever for just "we must reiterate that the ban on your account was thoroughly investigated and validated"?

 

I'm really disappointed if this is the case.

 

For a player that has actually been playing for many years and supporting the game, this is all I get?

 

Meantime you guys have given actual hackers time and time again more chances??

 

 

Please explain to me what we can do in the near future to help with my case.

On the flip side, have to say support was relatively quick to respond, just not pleased with the end result being like kind of f u.
