08/16 EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE

Hello everybody,

 

we're going to be performing Emergency maintenance this Saturday (08/16) at 8:00 AM UTC to deploy a patch containing backend updates. We expect the game to be back online after 1 to 2 hours.

sound is broken again...

Something has been broken again with this patch. Because now is 1pm UTC and i still cant enter APB. 
 

Error message : GFAC has not loaded correctly on your computer. Please restart the game to fix this issue.
 

I restarted APB already 12 times and clicked repair button and its still giving the same error. 

Edit: I deinstalled GFAC 2 times, removed it from program files and put it in program files(x86) folder and now it works. If anyone got same error just do what i did.

digging for log file, figured out that for some weird reason sound banks are now 0kb size and launcher won't do anything about it. killed them manually, redownloaded - sound is here again (for who knows how long)

reporting"  No sound on first try, did repair, got sound. No issues loading Login or district.

This fixed the no sound for me as well thanks^

EDIT: Closing the game and reopening it again you get no sound so got to repair each time go to play

seems to be, same thing here, had a nap n try coming back in and the sound is out. 

Tried to repair then not launch but to then Restart Pc, then launch without repair, No sound. 

so we try again with repair each time till they put in a fix.

nevermind. there is no logic on why there is, and isnt sound in the game.

aww.. I read at the discord that some say you don't need to repair each time but just restart game till it's -there-...

I repaired it twice now, and got sound back right after I opened game.. But still annoying you need to repair.

the mouse cursor also freezes up and will not move for a few seconds when this happens.

Yes, I also noticed that. PC is frozen for like 5-15 seconds after shutting down APB.

Wow I thought it was just me. I can confirm this too then ._.
