Didn't they say that they were looking into this issue with Linux before the new patch ??

Known Issues:

 

• Users get met with GFAC Communication Error C when GFAC is not installed on their main drive. (Issue identified - Fix being worked on)
• Some users crash when selecting their EU characters. (Investigating - For now you can select an NA character first after which you should be able to log into your EU character)
• The game does not start on Processors that do not Support AVX2 (Investigating)
• Some users encounter the following errors when loading GFAC: 2427 - 4003 - 4004 (Investigating)

 

In your report please include the following:

 

• A screenshot or video of the error/issue you're encountering.
• Details on when the error/issue occurs.
• Date and Time of the issue.
• Are you using any sorts of file edits? (Configs)
• Your relevant Computer Specifications such as: 
  • Processor.
  • Graphics Card.
  • RAM.
  • What kind of drive APB is installed on. (NVME/SSD/HDD)
  • Operating System.
  • Anti-Virus software. 

 

We may also reach out privately to ask for more details but the above should help us track down issues so we can fix them as soon as possible!

You will need to download Windows updates to fix Error 2427.

Somehow i managed to break the update process by running two clients side by side (OTW and regular).

Now there are multiple files located in the %temp% folder, which block the updater.

In order to fix it i have to kill them manually. You can add that fix to your updater (if for some reason those files are in the temp folder - delete them and only then proceed with an update process).

Hey, my current problem is that I can get to the login screen in-game, but when i input my login information I just get error code 8 (servers are down). The servers are definitely up during my attempts because my friend was playing the game at that time. I'm not aware of any GFAC popup ever appearing when installing or updating the game (I deleted the game, reinstalled with APB_Reloaded_Installer and also tried installing it via steam and I get the same error 8 in the game when trying to log in,,,,no GFAC installer ever pops up). 

On my other computer at another location where I have a different ISP I also cannot play the game. There I can't even launch the game, it refuses to update. Eventually I just get an error button instead of the start button in the launcher window. But I vaguely remember that at least there GFAC installation window popped-up.

Good job screwing legit players then. Then again, I rarely buy anything and most players think I cheat, including nullsec and chiting, so I'm probably more of a leech than a customer.

this really sucks. you are really killing this game with all this crap. Is there gonna be any major compensation? i ain´t talking bout 500 jt... BIG coz at this state the game is absolutely not playable
