the purchase cooldown is really there to make it annoying for people to stock up on f2p leases, essentially turning them into permanent weapons

The cooldown makes sense on things one can sell, just for not having item inflation.

 

It should be removed on things one can't trade or sell though.

in the original game you could sell anything on the marketplace which is why it exists.
