I have tried following it 3 times, reinstalling apb each time(just in case), and every time I see the splash art and then it closes. I've renamed APB_BE.exe, tried x64 and x86 versions of ninjaripper, deleting d3d9.dll each time...no luck so either I'm blind and missed something every time or something is outdated? It injected but nothing was ripped, whereas today i try using it, and it fails to inject now. I don't know if its an old version or what, but now it doesn't even try to work.
