It's clearly more than just one account bound gun, and better than nothing given the situation - they could have given nothing seeing as how they weren't the ones that received the money, and make the players rebuy everything if they still wanted to play (Not as good of an option, given the context it's in.)

Even without premium that's enough for 2 of the most expensive guns on the market account bound + 202 g1c left over, if premium it's 2 account bound + 1,162 g1c left over...

They could possibly work as a decoy if you could command the pet to do actions such as stay, go to a location ect.. so that a player thinks you're close since the pet is there while you wrap around

Kind of off-topic, but ye i agree - a new mission or two into the gameplay loop wouldn't hurt much either.

You are also right, i went from Green threat to Silver in a day not even when i started playing - i shouldn't be able to do that in a system that's actually working to keep skill levels balanced...

What the guy said above me, i'd rather not run against max ranks with literally everything under the sun in-game - not only do they know HOW to switch weapons very quickly by knowing the car spawns, using player modifications like ammo refill to switch weapons before even peeking me, the car bombs ect.. i just don't want to deal with it - i wasn't dethreating in public lobbies and griefing anyone - i had a friend help me and i've been able to maintain silver since - since i learned i just don't have to do objectives, i usually have a friend that'll do them for me.

Maintaining gold is probably easier than getting it, since it's based on >team points as well, your teammate could be having a really good game while in the silver server and drop a 20~ kill game, and you end up getting 1.5-2k points at 2-5 kills just because your teammate screws you over, the hard part is getting rid of gold. I literally had to purposely dethreat to finally get out of gold hell. Gold sucks right now, it's in a bad place and i finally have full context as to what people are going through when they don't wanna be gold, sure it's fun to play with the best people in the game - but it's also not as fun cause you get clamped with how much contact progression you can get through - in the silver district you can get 5-15 kills (My current highest is 17 kills) while in bronze server you can get 10-25, making it so much easier to level up contacts - making the silver/(gold) district cancerous to drop into while exclusively trying to get contacts up...

I'm pretty new to the game so i don't know much about everything that happened - but i think what could have contributed to the game dying is all the older people have been doing the exact same game-loop for years now, and once you hit max rank - with max roles, and all the achievements there's no real insentive to keep playing besides being better than other people, most people probably hit a wall in-game of either trying to be better than 1-2 other people you're with/up against, or being better than yourself - in the game-loop you've been playing for years, that doesn't sound fun whatsoever... My idea to fix the boring-ness for old players would be - New mission loops/changeable mission loops that could work like the seasons in RIOT so that missions are constantly changing and there's usually something new to do in mission districts - Adding new contacts / raising the rank cap so that people can actually achieve 299 (I just realized earlier that we have a list up to 299 but max rank is 255) i'm sure a lot of people would join back just to attempt to get the highest rank again and see what's new from there. - Once the engine update is done, possibly going back and looking into hitboxes - no idea why they are giant rectangles that cover places not even the body is/could be (Possibly due to the customization, but even games with customization have better hitboxes) as well as adding different anchor points for the hitbox, so that you can hit headshots - foot shots - torso shots, that way you have to think strategically about where you want to hit someone, instead of "FUGGIT DOOOD I SEE A GUY MEDUSA SPRAY!!!!"

You're able to change camera angles with your switch shoulder key if that's what you mean

I would say hold to crouch is kind of unfair, cause it makes your hitbox go insane i'm pretty sure if you spam CTRL Didn't see that the mod added on that it got derailed xD but just my thoughts on the matter (ENGINE PICS WHEN? :^) )

I'm still gold, haven't been able to leave without dethreating on purpose...So clearly there's an issue with it no matter how you slice it.

Yes, right now it is currently splitting up the community already - i can't even play with the friends i've made cause they are silver and want to play on bronze server, and don't want to face a bunch of golds on the opp, while i have to since i'm stuck in gold.... My only option is to either dethreat or stay in gold and get better at the game - my friends don't have the same mindset as me...

The main topic at hand so we can stop going off-topic on this thread, is that i should not be gold after 2 weeks and stuck in the highest threat level for a week just cause i do missions, because they are big orange squares on my screen that look pretty shiny to me - i wanna do them, i wait for opp and then do them just like everyone else, but since i don't kill my teammates and shit i just end up getting destroyed cause the opp is a team full of golds cause i can't get out of gold rn....

Dethreating golds is a problem we cannot address cause they'll just find a work around for it. Dethreating silvers, same issue with no solution. What i am talking about has nothing to do with dethreating whatsoever, i stay in gold to get better at the game because i have LITERALLY been playing for 3 weeks, i just learned about the game and find it hella fun, but getting stuck in a threat level i do not enjoy is not fun. If i'm forced against the highest ranked players with the highest ranked mods and the highest ranked roles then that is fucked, it's a fucked system that should be fixed. We're going off topic here. The community is toxic as shit, and will flip on a dime. But the gameplay is fun. Everyone talks about "No new players coming into the game" "Find me a new player" - here i am, a new player, trying to enjoy the game But since i have an opinion people want to attack me left right and center.... It's just not worth it if this continues

Another thread where they don't know how threat works? If i'm going gold in 3 weeks, and stuck in gold for a week clearly it's a problem, no matter how you look at it. I should be silver > and i'm stuck playing against max rank golds I don't see how that's not seeing how the threat level works, i understand how the new threat level works - instead of win/loss it's based on points, doing missions gives you so many points, even while i'm silver if i do all the missions i get gold in 1-2 missions cause it gives me 3.5-3.8k points, that's ridiculous.
