Do you not know the requirement to start Riot? The riot district rerquires 16 players to be loaded in dist before it will start, 8 players wont start a riot match hence forth it is impossible to do a 4v4. Merged. Hey @MattScott are you guys even trying to correct Riot in a timely manor or are you just going to wait till its too late like last time? Halloween died out cause it required too many ppl to start and most never got a fair chance at it due to that. Riot is the same way right now so you guys need to bring in a lower requirement now not in afew weeks with a reg sched maint.

And they could have reduced the number required to start riot in the maint today, but they didnt. Glad to see there trying to listen and trying to make the mode playable

Pointless when I own everything perm. Also gl with getting the contact to 5 when this community is impatient as fuck. If ppl were to join instead of automatically thinking nobody is there we could have games all day.

if there were no premades it would be a 4v4v4v4. Not sure where 4v4 would ever come into play in a dist where its impossible to start with any less then 16 players.

Well somebody is actively trying to kill off the game. They need to fix that.

I already made a topic about this the servers getting DDOSd and LO hasnt stepped in yet. At this point Riot seems to be the only place that doesnt have lag or has the least amount.

I think its just the same ppl whose been doing it all these yrs still doing it trying to ruin the game for others and they wont stop untill the game shuts down.

Weapon roles for headless horseman, valentines etc in the past were enabled. Why LO decided to disable it for Riot (which is a perm feature might I add) is just dumb. Its a way to earn things via kills and alota ppl want to max them out for the chrome skins (myself included). They do need to enable it for Riot and as for threat leaving that off is fine. We dont need a P/N5 going off in an open world where ur supposed to be hidden anyway.

Lix there are several problems with riot that can be addressed with a simple patch for thurs. 1. Decrease the player count to start riot. 16 ppl in a dead game is way too many hence why the mode isnt played in jericho. The number should be 8 but maby 12 depending on rewards. 2. Increase the rate of lvling the contact. Ive played in over 20 riot matches since it was launched and the contact is still only at role 2. tbh it should be at 3 or 4 right now not 2, the rate at which you lvl him is way too low especially again for a mode thats not played. 3. Decrease the money needed to respawn. right now its free for the 1st. 1k for 2nd, 2k for 3rd and 3k for 4th. Id suggest 1st is free, 2nd is 500, 3rd 1k, 4th 2k 5th 3k. This would allow the opportunity to pay to unlock equipped weapons easier. 4. make the riot dist visable in the selection tab. right now you cant see the riot dist in the adv tab and nobody can see the dist pop, if you guys listed it there ppl could see and would prob join the dist more making the mode played more often. 5. Decrease the start timer. ppl waiting for upwards of 30min for enough ppl to join the dist just to start a timer thats another 3+min is just a slap in the face, the timer should be 30sec if any timer at all.

As expected. With how this person has been attacking the game over the yrs its no rookie hacker. Its some pro hacker who knows what there doing

it starts at 16. Ive been in 20 matches so far and the countdown timer hasnt started with any less theh 16 ppl loaded into the dist. and yes im referring to cross faction as riot tech has no factions its groups of 4 survivors and random ppl are grouped together unless ur a premade. When ur randomly grouped u can be from diff factions so I dont see the reason why cross faction groups cant be formed for riot only.

Thats not the issue here, its a DDOS and its gotten past the new protection.

It dont, the servers so bad right now everybody is warping and rubber banding and nobody can shoot anybody. Not to mention the delay in entering cars and reloading.

@MattScott @Lixil get the server fixed finally plz its impossible to play let alone even try to do riot.

Im mainly a lurker. As far as steam forum goes its rare im there Merged. Heres a suggestion @MattScott, if your guna keep riot mode you might want to allow crims and enf to group up this way friends can play with eachother. And lets reduce the requirement for the mode from 16 down to 8 this way the mode can actually be played and make lvling the contact easier so this way the 1 or 2 riot games you can play a day actually mean something. As it stands right now Riot means nothing.

Yea something broke within the last 10 min tho im not surprised given how the servers have been performing since riot came out. Welp no more chances to lvl up the riot contact again until tomorrow.
