i noticed it happening yesterday, before that it was working fine. i launched it yesterday gave me the error code 8 which usually means that the servers are down for maintenance

i did a clean install of the game and sadly it is still giving me the error code 8... i have contacted support but they take far too long to reply.. ive tried a VPN also still giving the same error etc also i can't really give a ton of detail the game simply will not let me login Also tried using my mobile network tethering and still getting the error code 8

i take it there's no ETA on when this will be fixed?.. don't know why i even bother trying to come back to APB

if i had the 10k jt i would personally get a weapon due to the fact i have a 4x4 and the firebomb.

sadly no, it was working fine the other day and now i get this error. i sent a ticket but most likely wont hear from them for weeks..

When i open apb it all loads up fine then i get the Error code 8 all my friends are able to login and play..

Waste of resources, shouldn't release stuff we dont need/want focus on the things we actually need. Listen to what the community wants and work around that then maybe the game wouldn't be so dead

Its fine I've spoken with a GM in social earlier they said its 100% safe although I will not be using this. I just wanted to test it and see if it actually helps and it doesn't well imo

I'd say option 2.. the previous anti cheat wasn't good enough still cheaters roaming around.

I got confused as I have been replying to threads within apb and saw this and didn't double check if it was for the APB downtime. sorry,

So you say crosshair overlays are fine. So where do I get the crosshair overlay from? because I am pretty sure they're all exe files and if apb detects 3rd party shit running in background pretty sure the account will frag up OverlayXhair is that safe to use?

Where have you heard that from? I have searched the fourms and can't see anything about extended downtime.

All I got told that was the downtime is going to be 6 hours and its almost been 7 hours

The servers went off at 10:00AM this morning and people said downtime will be 6 hours...

Been told the downtime was 6 hours its been 6 hours and 40mins any ETA when the servers are coming back online

Thanks for the replies, although my question has not been answered. Me personally, I dont think it should be banable I think it should be allowed. It doesn't give an advantages as what I can see,I mean I am fine with the default apb crosshair but it would be nice to have this feature in the game. Can a GM find out if this is banable or not please. Thanks, Ash
