@MageLO this still didnt fix the issue of apb not even starting itself after pushing start button as described in known issues topic.

Details when error occurs: when i start APB launcher it scans all files and updates them, then shortly GFAC window appears saying Updates completed successfully. When i hit start button, APB.exe shortly appears in task manager of active processes and shortly shows mouse loading animation like its loading and then after few seconds it just vanishes from the list and nothing starts and nothing happens. I dont get any direct message of any error. I excluded GFAC from my anti virus so NOD32 should be not an issue. I noticed GFAC installed in directory \Program Files and not in directory \Program Files(x86) where is my APB installed. Maybe that can be the issue? edit: i moved GFAC to \Program Files(x86) root folder and the problem still persists so that can be excluded as potential issue. Date and time of the issue: UTC time 2:10 PM Thursday, July 31, 2025 Usage of configs: I use Flaws config and edit for APBEngine file and BaseEngine file for removing cap of fps from 100 to 145 where is maxclientframerate set to = 145 in both files. Since multiple scanning and repairing process i started each time, I removed all those configs so game is in the vanilla default state without any configs at the moment and it still is same issue of not starting itself. My Computer Specifications: Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB RAM - 12,0 GB What kind of drive APB is installed on. @MageLO Tagging you sir so you can see the post sooner. i urge those people who are on LO discord that they report the problem with launching apb.exe since I see several other peoples got same issue as me. After starting APB launcher each time its scanning all files, then it goes over all updating including AC then start button does nothing and APB.exe vanishes from task manager processes after few seconds after i press start the game. With nod32 anti virus i excluded both APB and AC folders but it doesnt change anything, so anti virus aint the issue. I tried updating my graphic driver and am trying to solve apb problem since morning and its frustrating by now to say at least >.> @ all people in lil orbit discord -someone pls report that to Lil orbit so that they can be aware of the problem and start solving it.

is the game up? can anyone enter? I am stuck on trying to start the game. It constantly leads me to scanning and then updating and when start button is provided and i press it, nothing happens. APB doesnt open, just vanishes from processes task. Each time i start application each time its all over scanning, all over updating and then after pressing start again nothing happens!!! Can someone confirm that they managed to enter apb?

how hard can it be to type in google apb forum and come here in within 10 miliseconds to read what you need? the other issue entirely is that this forums have 0 update. So they cant even handle the apb forum as main source of information but they rely on discord...and everything is on discord. So you asking them to go to steam forums while they cant hold apb forums even is thing that is silly. I am refusing to give my profile to nolifers in public lil orbit discord group where 90% of ppl who camp there are those i ignored in game. But this discussion is already lead for some time now..so good luck with ur steam forum request as much as good luck for us who vote for even just apb forum

this game has g1 client and not everybody got steam. Yes there are actually people like me who are not gamers, who got few games none of it on steam..so i highly disagree with any 3rd party tools..such as discord or steam to announce news about apb... you got official forums deal with it... and thats not for you sentence thats for LO management. Forums should be number ONE source of information... you cant persuade me that its so hard for you to write apb forum on google and come here with 1 click as it would be hard for us to circle around steam forums and whatnot. Literally had steam 1 year...never even heard for forums. APB forum. period.

Knowing the situation probably just Discord because everybody in 2025 is on Discord i was being told. Yet every other modern multiplayer games and people i hang out with ther use ingame voip which are pretty standard these days which doesnt need no mofo discord. Counter Strike 2 ...everybody just push a single button K and you talk... all infos..provided on forums and site..... DOTA 2... not a single soul uses Discord for it but yes..APB is special little snowflake... APB is "modern" and uses "high quality" modern tools like Discord. Be modern they said. Install Discord for us they said. If i didnt know better i would say Discord is sponsor of APB and is financing APB...judging the amount of Discord voters from LO management. In other reality check we are at engine made before Christ era...we cut off voip in game...but we have Discord. Woooo heee! P.S. ETA servers coming back 1st september 2030. No pressure, no pressure

Forum was since 2012 ( i cant say years earlier than that since i joined in 2012) always the first main source of APB information even when discord didnt even exist at the time, i remember it came around 2015 and everybody were like omg i gotta have it.. We should not be forced to create additional profiles at Tiktok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Discord or any other new rubbish, just so we could get all the news up to date. Next thing i know we will have to subscribe to newsletter or some other rss third party tool so that i could get a simple answer about the progress of update, which could have been avoided by simply an official person saying...hey we didnt make it, we are working on it, eta unknown, but we are working on it. Instead we get silence! So thanks to magelo for finally saying whats up with it. Here at forums we literally need to yap and pull gm's by their hands to get a simple information about the game. When Citadel is down for whatever reason first thing i check is forum, and i always see either staff info or player creating topic with title "hey server Citadel is down..do something about it"! Whoever wants to be on Discord can be there, I dont wanna expose myself to that open group filled with many people i ignored in the game itself, providing my profile and name and just even being in their presence upsets me, because i know who camp there day and night and its not the good guys of APB. My apologies to those who are there and are good, this message is not for your eyes. So yes...use the damn forums for updates! How hard can it be!? Period!

Honestly after joining this game in 2013 and being here most of the time i doubt there is any possibility for APB to look anything worse than it was past 10 years...and i wont even mention last particular 6 months. I quit apb in 2019 and suddenly like a devil or magic in 2024 i ran at youtube recommended video about APB...and it flash backed me all way back and i decided to install APB again to see whats new. At that time only mirage car was added but then swimsuit and other new content...new contacts new levels... so i didnt fool myself i simply decided to stay to see maybe something works out. And since january 2025...i have seen declining in population rapidly... i have seen another fake failed promises...and now this patch event the last among the ocean of wrong things. Nothing and i repeat nothing can look really bad...from what already is. You know what was bad? Engine upgrade promises since G1 era... that i have been listening to for full 7-8 years of my life. Being the fact i started to play APB with 15 years of age i literally in mean time grew up and become an adult person..meaning 70% of my entire lifetime existence... i have been listening about engine upgrade from G1 first then from LO. That was bad and is bad. Worst what you can do to person is kill their hope... my hope died in 2019 when i uninstalled APB and said you know what...f y'all i am outta here. Now lil hope has been awoken and i feel all the same resentment and disappointment. Nothing will correct that. Hence why i simply in free time transferred myself to single player games such as Assassin creed and Red dead redemption 2 and i got there 5-6k hours and i enjoy it a lot. So long story short...there is nothing really bad or worse that can be done to APB than things which were done to it already. A crown school example of once 150 million net worth game turned to shiit lead by incompetent devs and management. Someone should check out how Rockstar games keep throwing out titles and amaze people each time with it..thats company...ubisoft is company...this ...is bull crap. But again i will wait here for reply to see do i need to return for xmas event in 5 months or can i be maybe surprised with actual response from lo management.

Definitely not shooting the messenger, but it is good to remind that staff is not gm. Since each time i seen MageLO inside apb he did not have <GM> in front of his name he had <STAFF> title in front of his name and staff members are only ones with actual powers of banning on sight and having actual powers whatsoever to do anything. Something what Tiggs used to be. That level. You won't ask Frosi who is GM..or other GM's. GM's are merely players, who got only mute option and teleport option and thats about it....they got one command more than useless SPCT's who have absolutely no powers inside the game nor pretty much anywhere else. It is known. So basically only one who can know anything about update/event status is MageLO and he is only connection with actual knowledge and power between us and Matt who obviously wont ever chat with us at forums...he does one two AMA's per year and thats it. And its okay in some sense since Matt is owner so you dont talk with everybody if you are boss. Thats why you got staff you pay, to do it for you. Hence why expect every info from only MageLO and i am 100% sure he is the only one who can give such info and should 've already given that info. I repeat we dont need date and milisecond...we merely want to know is that gonna be in august or should we simply shut down apb and come back 1st of november for halloween event because this silence and constant weekly check-ups are pretty stressful. If population drops more than it already is, soon you will have literally 2 people left standing in social and staring at each other and then you might just make it official already and declare bankruptcy and shut this whole thing up, because what is too much is too much. I can handle failed promises, i can handle entire lack of anti-cheat (not because i support or like cheaters but because at this moment of game decay i really couldn't care less anymore), i can handle everything... but i can't handle nor i can comprehend that after all this years of this community and this company...that we still didn't surpass basics of human civilized communication...such as goddamn news and updates regarding big deals such as new ac and new content but instead we get....silence. You just cant announce something that would bring up liveness to APB such as new content and deeefinitely finally an anti cheat, then you postpone it next friday and not saying to which date you are postponing it to, then go entirely deaf and blind next 30 days of entire month and pretend we are all just mummies and that we have to ask every damn week maintenance "is this patch day?..is this event day at least?...is this is this?" and so every week. Just say a bloody date mate or say we wont do it this year...but say it!! Is that so much to ask for?!? There i dont know how "gentler" i could express my frustration and i am sure rest of us 7-9 people who i see on this forums caring for this game share same frustration.

@MageLO if there is anything most annoying its the silence. I can accept event and patch being announced and then postponed... thats perfectly okay. But what is not okay is that you dont say a deadline. In every normal civilized grown up company in 2025 and last 20 years of management and marketing and administration of every serious company works with deadlines. We dont need from you to say event and patch were postponed for 15th of july and then nothing... we dont need from you to say event and patch have been postponed until 1st of august...and then we will wait to that day just to hear it has been postponed again. We understand everything lasts on one two persons in your company and its physically demanding and very hard to do anything. But it is what it is. What we dont understand is that you guys cant give us at least an aproximate date of everything. Its insane that we all have to pretend Matt hype us all for event/patch and then out of one single "it has been postponed" ...we got nothing again next entire month. Now its already 24rd...meaning 1 month has passed in complete silence. I remind you guys that not all members of this community can be on discord or want to be on discord and camp there 24/7 like some nolifers can. This is official forum of APB...meaning forum should be first source of information! Is it so hard to write or say that patch /event have been postponed until xmas event? Just tell us. So we dont wait like donkeys every single week and have to ask every Wednesday maintenance day...is this the day of event or patch!! Just speak to us! Say it! Patch and event wont happen before september...give us at least correct month! Dude LO sided with hackers long ago...G1 did too... Realtime worlds did too. LO made 5 unbanning waves returning literally all cheaters that ever existed in APB but luckily majority of them uninstalled and left APB in 2015-2019 while game was stalled and there was no new content so basically most of them dont even know they are unbanned. With that said your crying against hackers wont change jack shit..there is no Anti cheat system. It got postponed like patch like event and we dont even have date for it. Every single anti cheat that was presented in APB was bypassed within 24 hours and you could find it on youtube. There is literally 1 second needed that you google forums for hackers of apb where they freely share blatantly cheating programs...when i pointed it out to LO..they ignored it. Some of members there use identical names as they do on this forums. Nobody ever cared. Not only they did not care they ban me for name and shame hackers with "advertising" their cheats by simply pointing out their forums which takes 1 sec to find on google. Thats when i stopped caring for crying against hackers...and you should too. I am gold...i am legit...i never ever downloaded or used any form of cheat or hack in APB as i find it pointless and disgusting. Only way we could battle cheats is that LO finally comes open with it and gives cheat to everybody...that way we would all again be equal and it would be cheats vs cheats. Since we basically already got 90% of ppl cheating. But you talking about it in every single post doesnt help nor will change anything. Like how do you even keep finding those poor companies and providers which keep falling like leaves. Choose 1 normal well known european provider...stop choosing unknown ones which keeps getting crashed with bs ddos.

cross districts missions are generally annoying af because i keep being thrown from district i want to be in, to district vs identical people over and over...in team and in enemy team. My team guy is sabotaging the mission and griefing, and i am forced to play with him every single mission. Its stressing and contra productive. Cross districts system is the final nail in the coffin of apb. After that system was introduced all who came back for swimsuit and new levels and contact earlier this year...left. In january there were 400-500 population...now its 100. You literally lost 300+ people over this. I wont even mention lack of anti cheat...thats final final nail to the coffin of a sinking ship.

The thing is APB is no longer so toxic because there is basically nobody left. The player base is now around 100-150 during weekends at best. All the old player base moved to other games long ago. The APB community used to be most toxic hideous community i grew up with. So did you two. So did we all. When i discovered APB via friend irl, I joined 2013 i was literally 15 years old. I was in puberty, we all were. Quid pro quo. I used to behave towards people how they behaved towards me. I was sweetheart and nice towards ppl who earned it, and i was toxic towards those who were bullying me. With that said, you have to realize that your feedback was negative because your feedback was given to player base where oldest person at the time was maybe and i say maaaybe 18 years old. Aside few cases where i heard that fathers of kids aged 40-50 played APB in 2013. So what did you expect? Nowadays all those who remain in the game are most likely all old veterans like you me and others who play this game since 2012 or before and who play it out nostalgia and who are here only till the end. Be certain there are no new gamers...if there are...they are minority. With that said i returned to APB after uninstalling in 2019, and i returned last year around september just before the Halloween event to check things up. I have to say ntec is not meta anymore, the only true meta is 45 pistol. Its used literally by everybody...legits and hackers. APB as such was never f2p game and thats bs. Premium is given already for years...you can earn money easier than ever before when we used to pay for premium with real money. Everybody can farm joker tickets...you can earn 50+150+200 in FC...meaning per week in both FC's you can earn 800 jt every single week. For every major event you can earn thousands of jt's. For Easter event this year for just dropping by for tasks i earned around 5000 jts. So its f2p game..you can permanently buy all those "p2w" weapons you keep talking about...yes it needs grinding but if you truly cant give 10 dollars for a game and get it all in blink of an eye..then yes..grind. Still its not p2w game because you can get permanently all weapons others buy for irl money. As for streamers they were always the problem of APB..but nowadays...there are literally no streamers left... last one i seen Kempington few months ago...and that was it.. he too came back for the old sake time. Rest if there are any...they can have 2-3 viewers because there are literally nobody left in apb. As to the expression APB is dying...if you are around long enough you will agree that we are all saying and were saying that every single month every single year....i hear people saying apb is dying ever since i joined apb and look its 2025 and its still not dead. One day it will die but it wont be anytime soon. As long as there are players and there will always be at least 50 players around. With all this said idk why are you butthurted with opinions of kids @Reprimand. You gave feedback you got grudge all these years and did it pay off? Golds were always assholes...it was always about ego... those legit golds tryhard in groups day and night playing at least 8-9 hours every single day...repetative missions..for years. Meet good people there are many many good people i met in APB...with some of them i became friends irl...i also met some pretty sick people..mentally disturbing but thats where /ignore button comes handy. The main issue of toxicity is that we all used to accept every critics to heart...every troll would get to your emotions... every pleasant fellow would leave mark on you. Now when i am 27 years old i laugh to all of it. And thats how you gotta take life...as you grow older the less you will care the more mature you will be. I used to make youtube videos to help beginners of APB as well.. i was mocked, threatened, stalked, abused, bullied all whatnot...but i did it anyway and ignored the haters. I collected fan base of maybe 10 people and those 10 people meant world to me vs all the 500-600 who were toxic kids. But i got a lot of praise from few actual beginners who i did help a lot with ram raiding tips, designing tips, using basic decals to create locked out decals etc. Just when i think of amount of bullying where i had to prove that i am female to every random demanding guy who would shit that no girls play apb and when they were proven they would harass me to go to kitchen because games are for men or they would turn to stalkers and cringe wannabe funny trolls... i all took it to the heart...it were so many dark years..and then..i simply grew over it and realized one true fact...have fun...use ignore..and dont concern yourself with opinions of random strangers you will never encounter irl. Thats a tip i give to you too.. Stop caring what people tell you... dont be toxic just because others are toxic towards you...ignore the cancer and be a good guy and you will eventually meet others who think alike and you will surround yourself with positive vibes positive people and you will start to have fun actually. If you want to come to APB today...know that majority of toxic immature kids are gone from apb... now are left only gold tryhard veterans and cheaters and few good people.
