I know that Hyper V runs on Windows server and regular Windows. So touchy arent we. My point is that via virtualization you and me know that you can virtualize windows machine on your precious linux with which you can solve your issue in mere instant. Your racist hatred against Windows is your own problem. okay so first of all you can virtualize every single operating system inside hyper v. By that i mean at every single linux distribution ever invented, from mandriva to centos to ubuntu or any one you saw fit. Hyper V is not only Windows Only because I am System Administrator and at college and at my work place we use whatever the f we want. By that I mean whatever the f we want. ANY Operational System EVER invented I can run it in my virtual machine after setting basic network settings or you can call it advanced system settings, I can do it all. I can run Windows 3.8 on my perfectly capable Windows 11 computer, I can run whatever the f ever was created as operation system to be runed. All i need to do is to set network system to my own please and it will work. WILL work. Also Hyper V is not Windows only its Windows SERVER only (with side effect to be added to newer Windows edition). So meaning you can install separate OS Windows server 2008 R2 and it will f work,. To install it go to f torrent or even 10 milliseconds of google search. Point is there is not f excuse for you to tell me you cant run it, because without any prior settings from the push of the button start to the end i need all in all maximum of 5 minutes with my internet speed download of 300mpbs. I dont see him getting banned for it. I wait and wait but he is there every single day. You cant even ban such an obvious person who doesnt give a f and doesnt even try to hide. When you will start ban blatant people who cheat (he doesnt hack he cheats), then I will have hope that GFAC is advanced enough to smell built in macro in their mouses. By then I suggest someone from staff to stay one single day in Citadel Asylum and actually do their work and observe how many players there are "scared" of being banned while using macros non frigging stop. None of reports work, none of GM's even join to game to see daily routine of daily cheating players. Pop is barely 200 now, it should be simple to detect a cheater compared to previous tens of thousands players who used to play APB at its peak. Yet we face cheaters every single day. Shadow bans my butt. The good side in this bad side is that no longer, I repeat no longer can LO employers play the ever lasting card of "we are shadow banning people but we wont give public results to actually prove these claims). You know why? Because goddamn population is 200 of once mighty Citadel. I frigging know every single player by NAME. Every single player. Because there are so little of us left. And with plain healthy eyes I can see that players who macro, who dont miss a single shot... PLAY APB day by day. Nobody from them is banned not because there are legit but because either 1 ban happens ever 10 000 years or because there are no current bans happening at all. So you cant bs people anymore to keep them with false hopes and false promises like it has always been the case. We can see with bare eyes that nothing is happening. Understand that.

Lets be honest to each other, there is literally 0 and I will repeat this with outmost certainty a literal zero newcomers players who came to APB in entire 2025. There is not a single actual gamer in 2025 who even heard of APB game, even less wanted to try it nowadays. I am surrounded with gamers irl. People play Fortnite, League of legends, Apex, Valorant, CS2, Battlefield, GTA. Its 2025 and not 2010. The only players of APB are us veterans, people who are here at least 10 years, because only we are bewitched with nostalgia and potential of customization that drew us into this game at first place. So I do agree with you that at this point (which was always) is still broken MM, still broken AC, still broken config users...but if you didnt make amend and peace with the reality you are in denial. Those things will never change as well as engine upgrade will never come. What can keep players of playing is solely imo more events and more new content, and by that I mean what is the way of KEEPING this 200 players that still play APB. Us. You and me and rest of foo's here. Forget about newcomers, this simply does not happen anymore. Whoever is lunatic enough to install APB first time in his life in 2025, will be alt f4 uninstall in less than 2 hours. Firstly because you start with 0 money regardless the fraction. And lore is really not that intriguing nor interesting to keep you dazzled with APB if you see it first time. I am rank 270 I never bothered to read lore of every cop and crime contact nor I see point in it. Doubt much people did it even in APB's time peak. If you are newcomer you start with 0 cash and zero unlocked decals (aside useless 1st page of cubes and circles) means the only ace in sleeve APB has, which is customization, real newcomer can only wipe his butt and do zero customization with triangle circle and cube. Zero cars, zero mods, zero weapons. An absolute zero. That is the game's default. So you will be thrown into 18 populated financial, yes I have been checking APB most of the day today, there was literally barely 2 half full districts roamed with again people who play APB for years. To progress your contact you need to win at least something with 0 char unlocked mods, even 0 unlocked slots of character, with star weapon in MM which has nobody to connect you with aside with 4 premade gold max ranks, because they are the only ones left playing APB. Stop dreaming and lets face reality. It is what it is. Nobody is coming to rescue our population, the only raise of population can occur is if you throw new content and then this nolifers might discord old APB veterans who quit the game in 2020s to come back and check it out. Literal proof for this was earlier patch release with first new clothing after almost DECADE of nothingness, when they released swim suit, rain coat, rubber armor clothing etc. Introduction of first new levels after level 255 which was there since 2010. You saw what happened? I did. Suddenly APB pop those weeks were 700!! Yes... those 700 were not newcomers, it were all well known old veteran names I didnt see for yeaars. We are here to try to bring back old foo's not bring new ones. Its the only way to maintain the life of APB. Not one more single normal NEW kid today wont change League of Legends or modern multiplayer games made for our age to compete with ice age that APB is nowadays. Of course in my opinion. Whoever I had liberty to discuss with multiplayer games irl, when I asked to give it a shot for APB, after they curiously googled for exactly 2-3 minutes, they said thanks but I will pass lol. I quitted APB somewhere in 2019 and I got back for Halloween event in 2024 out of curiosity to simply see if APB is still running and online after accidently stumbling on youtube on APB random video. I am 27 years old today for f sake. That is the age span of APB. Its an old dying man figuratively. We can maintain its life only through patches and new content at this point. And its not newcomers that keeps this game running, its us who play it since 2013 and some who even play it since RTW 2010's. Not new kids cuz kids these days grow up with actual multiplayer games which run on most modern technology not potato like we run APB and always have ran APB.

I admire to you that you still wanna fund this state of the game. I invested over 40k g1c in years but I am not paying a single coin until they dont fix MM or until I dont see GFAC actually banning people by not seeing them anymore in the game. Community is so low at Citadel that we all know all cheaters and hackers by names now. Simply join Asylum and you can see who is blatant in no time. When those names will be removed I will buy g1c.

It is known that all games since 2000's run better for Windows because they are made for Windows. Linux OS's always had troubles with the games it is nothing new. What I dont understand is why dont you simply use hyper v? Simply make client based CentoOS or Windows, set your network parameters and you can have both systems pretty easily. Windows 11 are free like Linux distributions, there really shouldnt be any problem with it.

i would make it +2 more shots to kill. The majority 45 users who are gods and never misses a single shot, are those same users with potato graphics config that allows them to play with 300 fps+, with macros, with no recoil configs. When you call them out as hackers, they will calmly deny it because they indeed aint hackers. They are dirty cheaters. They cheat the system and exploit it. I was calmly told by several macro users, that they are not cheating, they are simply using their legal mouse software of mouse which allows them to macro. Reply was, buy yourself an expensive mouse as well and macro like us. So yea...anti cheat will never catch those, because anti cheat is looking for illegal software in processes and there wont be none. And cheaters will remain.

The problem will be the same, after new content is added and grinded within week or two we ll go back to stalled nothingness. Solution is that new content in shape of new cars clothes weapons are added regularly every 3-4 months with more often events. Even if the event is not big it would still give motivation to people to come around and go by check what is new. The event can be simply 500 jts and maybe new title every 1st in every 3rd month. Anything really. This way we practically got only 3 events per year, Halloween, Xmas and Easter. And that is about it. Popularity of the game has noticeably dropped not recently but ever since february when APB was down for almost 1 month and when they added cross districts MM. Waiting half an hour for a mission just so you will get opposed against premade 4 golds, whilst your team mates are unfairly under capacity, makes you rq the mission and attempt to get 2nd mission which repeats itself and that ultimately makes you rq the game and simply move on to next game. Cross districts MM is ultimate last nail into the coffin of APB. Its time consuming, during wait all you can do is stare into the screen, the MM is still unfair with entire mission balance, you get three level 50 ranks against 4 rank 270 golds and that is happening non stop. At this time only more often new content and fix of MM can help the APB to maintain this 400 people. If this 400 people drop to <100 population I myself will stop bothering logging into APB and APB goes off my pc.

It is true that many complain on the forums somewhat with either having crazy arguments for complain or having none at all. In my humble opinion one change to MM would save a day and it should concern initial mission (not escalation) and that is that which ever player pressing K has no group should have priority to get opposed with another non grouped members. If i am instantly mission grouped with lets say rank 100 silver and rank <100 bronze, the opponents should be chosen based on the win/lose ratio of my team mates, so that each of us have chance. So that my bronzie has enemy bronzie he can fight n that my silvie has same opportunity. Current MM is like...of 3 players...okay first 3 players available are your enemy. And of course 3 instantly K'd people are usually in 1 premade group. Not always but usually. The system of threats (winning/losing ratio) is already at hand, so this would prevent MM to connect me as lvl 270 to be opposed against another solo person who is lower than <255 rank. I dont need or want to stomp legit casual silvie players or even less legit bronzies (even if they are max rank). I simply want fair MM as much as possible. If I will find screenies of many ridiculous MM's i went through from before summer, I will post it here. It happened more than once that I was literally left all alone in my random group after my silver and bronze instantly RQ and I had no ability to even call backup. When I asked enemy team to at least give me escalation, to their own amusement it was denied. So we spend next 11 minutes of those 3 pregrouped gold pros stomping me and farming me and of course they had a lot of fun. Me = 0 fun.

you missunderstood my statement. I reserve my own private real life time for saturday because of my own schedule which doesn't allow me to play much via working days. And no I am telling you i am solo player. This whole post before, is a point of view of a random solo player (me). I don't have friends in APB, all people I had, left APB long ago around 2020's when was the time. So when I join saturday afternoon gameplay its only me playing against what APB gives me. And that is what I based a lot of text on prior message. You got perspective of a solo player. And aside constant district shifting's which additionally steals my time waiting, missions I get are always opposed against premade gold groups. I agree APB has always been a hard game, nobody questions that. But the current state of MM is unplayable. Having fun is spending time doing missions and winning at least some of them. Having not fun is a definition of being constantly grouped against pre grouped discord users and winning 0 missions. Even though I am max gold I stand no chance against 4 maxed discord golds. At best I kill 2 being tagged from both, 3rd 4th easily ends my life. While my team mates a combination of hilarious ranks threats and IQ's roam around the financial searching what they have to do, or simply rush and die and get farmed. At this point its no strategy, no challenge, no anything you pointed out at, its simple comedy of extended masochism being pointlessly farmed by pre grouped enemies.

You seriously didnt just compare ancient APB:R released in 2010 with player base of 100 people, with a company owning it who got 10 employees themselves with a League of legends which as of 2025 the game maintains an average of approximately 131 million monthly active players.. 131 000 000 MONTHLY active players. As for APB being fun losing tons of missions, maybe you are some masochistic person who adores wasting his irl short free time he got in losing mission after mission being stomped by certain 30 known cheaters hackers and gold discord veterans, but i assure you that most people would disagree with that attitude. I can handle losing mission after mission, but if i wont win a single mission in saturday afternoon from 12pm to 6pm which i decided to reserve for apb gaming, then sorry mate but there is a problem. I highly doubt it that anyone loves losing, especially if that happening is repetitive process in row over and over and over again being farmed by unfair MM...not by lack of own skill, not by lack of weapons, but by sheer lack of team mates. And guess what? I will leave APB ...and even tho you couldnt care less and i cant blame you, the problem is that what i am telling you is thought by many. So another one will leave and another..and its already happening as we speak. All because of laziness of LO to do something about MM asap. At the end APB missions will be played among 20 same people from which everybody are in pre groups and you will exterminate all randoms like me who is btw gold max 270 rank...so when as such tell you that imagine what all silvers and bronzies and trainees think about the missions. And then it will come day when you will stand there in financial or waterfront all alone like a clown staring into empty graffiti wall and wonder what went wrong. So there is still time that we help save the mm and missions while there are 200 of us from which 100 stand in social afking rest in fc...and maybe 100 play active missions in a weekend time which used to be full peak. MM needs a change. Period. You can be Shini in his peak all you want, but you cant win 4 premade gold grouped people on discord. And i wouldnt say anything if that was rarity so maybe out of 10 missions 1 or 2 were such. No.. its literally 9/10 missions that you as random solo gets grouped against pregrouped meta as you say.

i myself personally prefer 6v6 8v8 because then we got a chance to at least get a escalation of some premade nice gold group unlike usual randoms with brains of a toothpaste. many times escalating the mission brought me victory whilst main mission grouped me with low rank silvers and clueless bronzies. biggest issue is that if you are not friends with anyone in apb and you dont have at least a friend who is close or equal skills such as yourself, then you stand no chance. I used to screenie all mm comparisons of every mission 6-7 months ago but i gave up, understanding that nobody will care for it. Most of missions mm difference is ridiculous. You have rank 40 rank 100 rank 270 against 4 270's gold ranks and we couldn't even call a backup not escalation. When you get such missions in row or every 3rd mission which is such in one day out of 10 missions you decided to play, then you really understand why most people left APB. what mm really needs is segregation of PREGROUPED people and random solo riders. This game MUST STOP opposing premade groups (regardless threat and rank) against 1 player who get random players. This is the MAIN issue. If you want to keep APB alive start putting those sweaty discord premade gold kids against other sweaty discord premade gold kids. Simple as that.

-try reinstall GFAC -try make exceptions for GFAC and APB in your antivirus system settings -try move your GFAC from c : program files directory into c : program files (x86) directory -go to your log files and copy paste it here for magelo to check it out and so we can see what happens to your GFAC once you start a game. I had similar problem from start and this steps eventually helped me resolve the issue with GFAC EDIT: i checked the known issues GFAC for error 2427 you getting. You got replied. Problem is in update. You will need to download Windows updates to fix Error 2427. Regardless if you already checked latest update, re roll last update and do it again.

kevlar just need more health, speed and all rest can be further downward for all i care, can be turned into walk....it actually is walk already with kev3 when u carry a machine gun...so kev4 can nerf speed into that walk shape as you walk with kev3 holding machine gun, but just add way more health to it and make it tank it deserves to be. So that kids with macro and usage of configs with no recoil (as one max rank cop yday in fc bragged himself to use it), cant kill you with 45 within 1 second. With that said we finally need something to oppose the meta 45 bs usaged in combination with ca3 which is op since apb was created. We need to make people start using different setups...otherwise we might as well just erase all other char mods and leave just ca3...same as for 45...erase all other secondaries and even primary weapons since 45 is all you need with your macro and no recoil configs. I feel new patch aside new contacts and new content would be nice test ground for kev4 announcement.

Only kev3 complainers are usually cheaters who get mad because they didn't add your death upon their 50 kills achieved in 1 minute. Kev3 is completely different style of gameplay. Tank and static opposed to speed runners and fanatical jumper shooters. Its easy to use ca3 when you use triggerbot or aimbot and you can jump with sniper in cqc combat and hit every shot in fc.

honestly ntec is not a problem, 45 is. 45 is literally destroying a game. Some people in FC literally don't even use primary weapon they just use 45. If there was a population of 10 000 players this would matter, but since game is dying slowly but certainly at this point every buff and nerf is already way way belated. If they nerf 45 people will switch to obeya pistol and do same thing. All pistols should be raised to 7 bullets ttk or simply deleted from the game.

MM has always been unfair since dawn of time of APB. The problem that put a final nail into the coffin of APB imo was the desegregation. It allowed all config users with no recoil, triggerbotters, aimbotters and hackers into the realm of bronze districts where there were a lot of detreated golds, thats true, but there were also a lot of legit trainee, bronzies and legit silvers. Its like you open a bank vault for everybody to enter freely. LO succumbed to pressure of gold veterans who were tainted with a lot of closet fake golds amongst themselves who got bored fighting each others with their bought premium hacking programs and they were missing the "action" of stomping legit newcomers, bronzies and silvies. So they demanded unification of all districts and removal of threats limitations. The moment LO did it, a few months afterwards population of entire APB (i am talking for Citadel) dropped visually from around 1000 active players to 800 and soon afterwards we ended on nowadays 300 in a good day. With that said, it is what it is. Current MM cannot be fixed, you can't return segregation because there are simply no players to even populate 1 full district in a working day. Escalations are tricky because most of the time you will get a wanderer trainee "backup" who doesn't even know where to go in the map to reach an objective. Or enemy will get pregrouped 3 max gold ranks while you get an afk silvers. Being gold is overrated in 2025 because one joining to FC you can clearly see people use esp, triggerbot, they snap non stop, there is almost not a single 45 user without a macro who never misses a single shot from 5 shots, meaning usage of triggerbot in a combination and our GFAC is "still learning" like a baby boy while this scum walks around freely molesting legit players day and night. Idk why you even tend to be a gold, unless its some sort of your private challenge, but I myself am gold, always was without ever cheating but simply using ursus and duck and it keeps me gold for years. And I can tell you that I don't feel anything special because of it. I barely even play missions anymore because 9 out of 10 times I am grouped with complete mentally challenged team mates, regardless of their threats while enemy in 10/10 cases gets in pregrouped on discord, trying hard about every kill to fap their ego tripping daily dose. And final thing, most of silvers will forever remain silvers, same goes for bronzies, because they don't bother with basic tps shooter knowledge. I tried to teach one bronze who was crying in district chat how everybody are cheaters, I invited him to the group to see his gameplay. Dude... the guy rushed enemy with a shotgun rs3 cj3 against ntec and ursus users in an open field. Like dude... no they are not cheaters, you are just plain dumb. I have watched silvers never bother taking basic covers, never corner camping like 100% of golds do, who listen to your foot steps and simply wait for you to come behind a corner and they erase you with ease. I have watched silvers never bother choosing appropriate counter weapons during their respawn. If you see enemies having ntec or ursus, why God why, do you continue to use cqc weapons in financial where 90% of cases are fights in an open ground!? I have watched silvers never baiting cops by completely shifting their way of decision making during basic movement. If you see cop standing behind some corner camping, why do you insist showing yourself up to him and then proceeding to rush him face2face instead sprinting around the building and trying to flank the cop?? 90% of silvers don't even comprehend a term flanking. Nobody bothers to be unpredictable and maybe sometimes sprint 400m further if that will make you come from their back and eliminate them. I have seen basic lacking of intelligence with all silvers who will reply you "its just a game not a competition, I won't bother tryharding" but then after the match when they die 50 times and get 2 kills, you will see same people ranting and raging in public chat how everybody in enemy site are cheaters. He won't mention that he was practically just spawning, rushing, dying, spawning, rushing, dying. I have watched silvers NEVER EVER taking high grounds when we defend the position. Literally 100% of silvers know 100% of financial map, any map, but literally maybe 10% of them actually use map advantages. The term high ground is completely unknown to silver population. And guess what, every real gold first thing they will do is take sniper or ursus and go camp to the highest ground they can find around the objective and they will remain there killing you fifty times over and over until someone from silvers will even decide to get them and then try to get them and guess what, by the time they will finally reach that high ground position, real gold will already be on a roof of an opposite building killing you again, because real gold makes 2 kills tops with sniper and then he switches his position entirely from one building to the next if necessary. Thats real gold player behavior. Such silver will hackusate then that gold. With that said 99% of silvers deserve to be silvers because they are mentally silvers. They will never change. They will always blame their personal failures at enemy team calling them out as cheaters and hackers. They never bother to learn or improve, they never tryhard. I hate such excessive trying hard as well, but back in a day if you played against Bitfenix or WASP, such gameplay was implied. If you were not ready for extreme sweating, you might as well just rq the mission and wait for another one. And many golds behave like this, still today. And then we all wonder why silvers got low chances of winning against legit golds. Being gold is for a reason a threat only veterans have. I am of course talking about legit golds. Hacking cheating blatant golds are no humans but irrelevant filth living with their parents in their late 30's with no jobs or life. Their greatest life achievement is hacking in a 2010 old dead game with population of 200 people.

Such griefing while you are in the mission is directly bannable. Problem is that report won't do you any good. You can type for each of those 3 a-holes but reports are hardly ever read, acknowledged or even seen by a human being simply due to the fact of lack of staff. So what really does a trick and how you can help LO support is by writing them an email and attach a video where you recorded them doing what scum does. Bullying and thinking they will get away with it, because they know very few people bother with recording the situation. I suggest awesome little program called Fraps, very user friendly, easy screenshotting, easy recording with a touch of a button. Video file will be pretty large so you might want to upload it to some free site and send upload video link to the support in the mail. I have done this several times and even though I know support can't and won't give you a reply in a sense of "yes we banned the user", they don't need to. Back in the days when APB had 10 000+ players you could only hope G1 actually banned person you reported. Good story in this bad time of low populated APB is, that there are around 200 active players, meaning quite a small small community and quite a small family. At Citadel I practically know each and every player by name at this time. So I didn't see a name of scum who was griefing me for quite some time now, even though I would regularly see him bash, insult and bully people in public chats of financial and waterfront. Meaning recording actually did a trick and scum is eliminated from the game. Even if they don't get permanent ban (which they should according to TOS and EULA of griefing), they will get a 1 month ban up to 1 year of ban which is good enough punishment already. So I do like the fact that you declared war upon this type of immature people. But this war must be one of a total annihilation. Never retreat, never surrender.

I am not complaining for giving APB$ for permanent clothing items i bought for JT's. I am complaining because filter of purchase is obviously wrong. Why are some items i bought permanently for JT's each time i want to equip them, why they got FREE tag next to it..if system requires APB$ amount. I can screenie. The variation is too high with only this 3 items. Some cost me 1k apb cash but only katana, double shotgun and axes ALWAYS cost me 3500 $ APB money. Is it so hard to set them to 1000 apb $ like rest? Or if not free then at least lower the 3500. Its matter of principles... 3500$ is not a small amount if you have to give it each time you simply wanna access to your own permanent items which you already bought high amount of JT's.

@MageLO So I would highly desire an answer to why 99% of clothing I bought from Armas packs are free to be taken inside clothing designer kiosk but then we got this 3 items that i bought each for 4k jt (which should be enough to get it permanently for free) and each time i delete them and want to re take them it asks 3500 apb $. 3500 apb $ sounds not much but then if you keep buying it on weekly basis at least 3-4 times since i myself constantly play with designing outfits, then the price goes up to 20-30k apb $ and for what??? There is no imagine inflation we need to pretend with, for permanent non tradable items we bought for g1c or jts. The downside is already its not tradable so its for my own personal usage. So i need explanation why the f do i need to constantly re pay my own permanent clothing items????? And who was the genius who came up with that idea to begin with. ALL non tradable clothing items, packs, accessories bought for g1c or jt's SHOULD be 0 apb $ not bloody 3.5k!!! And what is with the smartass message "At least 3500" ?? Its ALWAYS 3500 apb $. I bought axes today, i bought double shotgun harness for new outfit again 7k apb cash for literally nothing! Just to be able to equip what i already bought with 4k JT's permanently! What is the point then???

Something has been broken again with this patch. Because now is 1pm UTC and i still cant enter APB. Error message : GFAC has not loaded correctly on your computer. Please restart the game to fix this issue. I restarted APB already 12 times and clicked repair button and its still giving the same error. Edit: I deinstalled GFAC 2 times, removed it from program files and put it in program files(x86) folder and now it works. If anyone got same error just do what i did.

Besides he joined in 2020...if you are spending 5 years of playing APB means you are 5 years not a newer player. Newer player is someone who plays in days, weeks, or months..not years. Ram raiding in crowded districts is literally most dumbest idea I have ever heard. I would like to see how many actual new players would last in crowded district smashing stores without literally entire district harassing them and going after them as soon as you finish ur mission. With that logic you would literally never be able to ram raid more than 2500 dollars and then waste your time going to wash money laundry after literally 1 single delivery. Only complete imbeciles would vote for removal of ram raid ability in empty districts. Nothing stops cops to check the server list and see 1 crime and join the district as they usually always do. I am used on cookie's stupidity but you should think better being the fact you joined 2011. The whole point of crimes..the only advantage we got is the ram raid. While cops got op stabba weps and ability to witness you within 1 milisecond from ur back before you even starts shooting. I was killed millions of times by pleasant fellow cop hiding somewhere, witnessing me from my back, killing me instantly as you press witness button...taking stash and already running towards your base while we need 6 seconds to respawn usually miles and miles away from both bases. There are plenty of times i didnt even bother sprinting after respawn rather just letting cop winning the pleasant fellow witness. So with all those advantages you would still nerf crimes side. Its crystal clear then which side your main char is at. Besides there are tones of shit that is falling apart in APB and touching ram raiding is not one of them.
