    Macros should be bannable/remain bannable.

A hack is nothing else than a piece of software that does something the player should do himself, but all automatically.

A macro does the tapping for you, but in an ideal interval. It is hacking, just like an aimbot does the aiming for you.

Lol, a simple macro is pretty useless in APB due to the latency between your computer and the servers.  With a ttk of 0.65 seconds, no perfectly timed rate of fire macro will work properly.  Instead you will end up with a rapid fire macro that skips shots or you have to program the macro to shoot as fast as possible which you don't want for any weapon in APB.

There is a massive difference between a simple rapid fire macro and a triggerbot/aimbot. If people want to handicap themselves with a rapid fire macro... let them because they are just giving themselves a low skill ceiling.

    1. Press F10

    2. Select /abandonmission from the list

    3. Press Enter

    3. ?????

    4. Profit

my macro will abandon a mission in less than a quarter second with the press of one button.  it will also ready me up again after abandoning the mission.

and yes the silvergolds "stomp" us too and yes it is extremely different. because they arent invincible or being all toxic on us

but your argument is this. "well X happens anyway so why don't we do Y to make X happen even more but worse?"

    stupid logic.

just one toxic gold can take out 10 of those silvergolds by themselves, so what you're saying is i should swap a silvergold for a person who is 10x worse than he...

what logic is this? where did you buy it? do you still have the receipt? you need to refund it

my argument is that real bronze probably don't know how to find the forums /jk

What is the luckiest you've been in opening loot-boxes in this game? Mines would most definitely be opening 75 Ursus boxes and not getting a single one.

you gamble, prepare to lose everything for a bunch of trail weapons.  It isn't worth it.  The few that I did buy I never won anything useful, but I did win legendaries out of the gold boxes for just spending money.

As for the Ursus, it's a great weapon but not as useful as the Ntec.  If you want an Assault Rifle that dominates in multiple areas, pick the Ntec, it's better than the Ursus at more ranges.

i didnt even know there was a matchmaking. i was with 3 of my friends (all bronzes) and the first match we got was against a toxic gold clan..

if there is a matchmaking it wasnt turned on that day idk. it didnt work that well before i only play with the same people we talk and laugh on discord but like 80% of our matches were against a mix of silver and gold opp when we're all bronzes but that didnt bother us much bc we just have fun. even when i played solo it was always against silver and golds but not the toxic golds that we have to face now. not me im waiting for eu servers before reinstalling

there is matchmaking but like any decently programmed system, if there has been no match for a certain period of time, the system tosses anyone available for a game.

No point in the system keeping you and another team on hold for 30 minutes while it waits for a perfect match (or in the case of APB for days).

game does not have a high enough population to take advantage of this threat system.

honestly no threat system will work with our tiny population.  It's sad but I think we are at the point of no return when it comes to player attrition.

I was on the same boat until I figured how much of a double edged sword it really is.

Enemy calls backup and gets 2 Max Ranks, I call backup I get 2 Trainees and the game considers that fair.....

Still I think there should be a training district up to silver threat and R100 for people to get their bearings.

It really should be trainee and bronze only district.  Though the NA population may be too low for even this.

Players: "remove threat segregation so we can play"

    LO: *does it*
    Players: "wtf go back"

not all players.  I prefer it this way due to the minuscule population we have.  Even during prime time the NA can't create 4 full districts.  We barely make 1 waterfront and 1 financial.  At least this way I can play either as long as there is room in the 40/40 mission district.  Before I was usually locked into one mission district.

And even before the lack of segregation high silvers were going into the bronze district and basically farming the bronze and trainees.  To a bronze there the skill difference between a real gold and high silver is null because of their lower skill level.

Open districts are fine but Bronze/Trainees may need their own 'Trainee' district that only they can join.  For all I know our population in NA is so low that even separating Bronze/Trainees in their own district could be detrimental to this game.

It is way more difficult to master the ntec than the opgl

Main the opgl for a month and u will quite good that doesn't happen with ntec u will need unless a year to be decent

Ntec is one of the easiest ARs in the game to use.  You just tap fire over your target.  There is no mentally calculating the bounce and predicting the path of your target in relation to your ordinance which has its own velocity and drop distance.  Non explosive weapons in APB are hit scan, it doesn't take a lot of skill since you basically tap the fire button when your cursor turns red.

I think APB players fall into two camps, those that want fights to be determined more by skill, and those that don't.

Id rather more skill was involved and for me explosive weapons are the opposite of skill based weapons.

Explosive weapons force some "skilled based players" out of their camping spots which is why "skilled based players" don't want explosive weapons on Armas.  I would happily watch a noob with an OPGL drive "skill based players" from a few roof tops we all know only have one access point.

Is the volcano no longer accessible via joker boxes? If it's still there, wtf is the point of this thread?

what the title says, put explosive weapons on Armas like other weapons.  It doesn't have to be the Volcano, that is a joker box weapon, but it could easily be a 3 slot OSMAW/OPGL which is already in the game and one of which is available with JT.

Basically it doesn't break the game, adds a new class of weapons on Armas, and gives LO more options for generating revenue from people who already have everything they need.

i mean explosive weapons overall have a super low skill ceiling, if more people use them it just means everyone else gets some easier kills

They are also easy for skilled players to completely avoid.  Against gold vets, the only real use explosive weapons have is taking out their vehicles from a distance.  I'm not a high skilled player but I always run flak so explosive weapons are pretty useless against me.  But they are a very useful tool for making campers move from an area.

Mobile spawns were never fine, as you said it yourself they allow closer spawns which give a great advantage over normal spawns. This is the reason why 95% cars have this modification equipped.

You all act like disabling a car is impossible.  Satchel bomb, 1 conc or an explosive weapon. Stop ignoring spawn vehicles.  They are usually my primary target on missions and take little effort to disable. Hell, it's even more fun to allow a team to respawn in their car and Omsaw it as they try and get out.

I think you might be going off on a tangent and misunderstanding me , but thats ok.

arrests do pay out which is why enforcers have LTL to make money. its how the game is made.

if you can pull it off or not is a different matter , and a hard one to do which is why it always surprises me that there are crims who want LTL when it can be a nightmare

LTL TTS is nearly twice as long as lethals TTK plus it LTL has heavy restrictions in weapon type, range, etc.

and yeah, I just woke up and am hungry so my mind isn't focused.

i do arrest golds and its a pain which has been my point so ????

money wise it is just more profitable to kill players and get a kill count of 20+ than it is to arrest players with a count of 5 and probably lose the mission.

I never said anything about your skill level, only that it can be more profitable to use lethal force against moderate to higher skilled players than using LTL.

  16. Just now, Fortune Runner said:

that sounds more like a dethrating issue rather than anything about how hard LTL is

Try using ltl against gold threat (real golds) players.  It's easy against bronze and some silvers, but nearly impossible against players like OCA.

And the arrested player has to respawn when arrested or die because arresting only counts once per spawn.  If the target is set free and you arrest them again you get nothing.
