I cant imagine they would ban over it, at least not without plenty of warnings, but who knows. There was a guy complaining about getting banned for it, but who knows there as well.

It would be problematic if every mission Im in has people abandoning for whatever random reason, and Im stuck hoping I get backup. Or in the case of better players (not me), how will they get matches at all?

How would you prevent abuse?

Just want to remind people that if players are refusing to play the mission, you can report them. If they don’t want to play, they shouldn’t play. We know matches are unfair and we know there are cheaters. If you don’t want to play ask if you can get a demerit to get kicked (if solo) or just /exit if you aren’t. Remember, you don’t have the right to ruin games for people just because you think you know something.

Just /exit Its not only more polite, but its faster than waiting for a game to end.

So you are griefing matches because you think someone is cheating? Why wouldnt you /exit and let the people who actually want to play, play?

Unfortunately as long as the mm pool is 40 people you will never have good matchmaking. It’s not the mm code it’s the reality of how APB is set up.

If LO was going to have only two servers they would put one in Europe and one in South America. The Americans and their polite Canadian counterparts are the minority now. edit: LO plans to have more than two or even 3 regions

Maybe one day when we have the pop also, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to play with your friends, it’s kind of the whole point

I do not know if support will be able to help you, but I can tell you that current wait times seem to be measured in months not days.

sorry about that its is about score top half up bottom half down (this is between all players in a mission NOT just on your team. Even the top player on your team could be in the bottom half of all scores and threat down its not about winning (though winning gets a score bonus) losing deducts no points its not about k/d either... kills award points so thats good, but you arent losing any points for dying so going 20-0 gives you the same points as going 20-50 there are factors involved in what the exact amount of change in your threat is so its not as simple as +1 threat for being top -1 threat for being bottom half (we dont know the point system at all) it has been mentioned by a dev that things like your teams overall skill rating vs the other teams makes a difference. so scoring top half vs a team of gold 10 players will award more threat vs scoring top half vs a team of bronzies theres some other things involved that have been mentioned over the years but there's never been a definitive explaination as to what the exact formula is, so we give the top half up / bottom half down answer because essentially thats the deciding factor also, you wont be gold, then go 11 missions in a row always getting MVP, and then drop to silver on the bright side, most players agree the current way threat is calculated isnt great and we'd all like to see some changes

Because it forces me to play LTL as well, which isnt a big deal but if there is any reason I groan, it's that.

Its not wins/losses or k/d that determines threat.

Some of us simply don’t like that many players. I’m personally not escalating beyond 4v4 winning or losing.

often times its people who have gotten banned on one account "oh yeah well Im taking my money back" then they find out that all their accounts are now banned
