So the patch came through for the promotional car giveaway (hey at least its something right?), and if you haven gone through the trouble yet. Go through the really annoying process of signing up about 2-3 times and get the key through the vendor. The release for it didnt go to well and we ended up not being able to even put mods on the car, thankfully the problem has been resolved and things are working as intended. Silver districts are for Golds (unspoken truth amongst the entirety of APB) -Silvers are not strong enough to take back their own server because theyre fighting Golds (personally I think this is why most silvers or lower ranked players think that Golds are cheating since they cannot yet comprehend their level of play) *so unless silvers actually step up and become better players (the end result is that they too become golds themselves and realize that the level of play previously indicated, was actually achievable to those who aim for it the cycle continues and for no there is no foreseeable way to break this cycle unless new systems are in place, reforms will happen and will then help remedy the problems presented from the previous methods. Dont pull that "Ive been playing for 8+ years bro" because if you're bitching about the OSCAR in 2019, then you're literally making urself look like u just realized what a computer is.... first things first, if you've actually played the game for a long time you would know that even if OSCAR is a "OP" gun, there are counters and tactics that can be used to get around it. Whether you are in a group or solo you can still counter it. (IF YOU WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT PLAYING A "LONG TIME" IS ACTUALLY TRUE) personally Im cancer with it and most of the time my teammates are begging me to switch to something else because Im so bad with it, so point is. Some people are obviously willing to put in the time to learn how to use the gun and theyre rewarded for learning it (this can be said about all the guns in the game). Just because you "THINK" someone is botting isnt fair to people who actually know how to use it. For me, I need a video or some sort of proof if the person is actually botting for me to say "yeah thats a douchebag right there", but antagonizing a gun in a game isnt helping your case, -because that would mean ur problem is with the user not the gun itself, which in the end doesnt justify the bias towards the gun from the very beginning. Therefore, rendering the argument that "OSCAR = hacker" invalid in the first place. being tone def about the discussion also doesnt help in ANY way. If you ever consider it, I recommend getting a 1440p 21:9 monitor. It has the convenience of a ultrawide screen experience but it only 1 monitor and its not as disorientating as playing with 3 monitors that have bezels that are clearly too f*cking wide. LG has some good ones

The topic of car gameplay has been an on-going topic ever since the changes happened to vehicles and more importantly changes to LMGs (way back when I dont really remember). So clearly its not just me saying "i dont like the way people play because it counters my own playstyle", clearly the topic itself is more than meets the eye. 3. It was a suggestion thread and I even made it a poll to see the point of view of others since I was curious about the topic. What about players who havent unlocked demolition weapons? what are they stuck with when fighting against people who spam espacio or nulander with blow torch? The fact that you said "how can you say its not balanced when you literally have all of those at your disposal." just helps my point. I as a person with a HIGH leveled character with weapons that clearly give me a bit more of an edge than your average player, along with decent experience with the game can easily bully the players that dont have said advantages. Trust me I wouldnt be making this thread at all if I felt like car play wasnt an underlying issue. Hell, I do it myself when Im tryharding, Because thats how much of an abuse-able mechanic it is when done correctly. *its easy to say that getting a certain gun or using a certain item can help you counter car play, However, the effect of said item varies depending on what the item is and how the user puts it in action, this ultimately decides the end result of whether its good or bad as a counter* 5.It doesnt matter if you main a Vegas 4x4, there are people who have Espacios or Nulanders with High Burn fuel, Armor 3, radar, etc roaming around. Its a mobile tank wall you take with you anywhere that doesnt kill you when it explodes and can take 1 osmaw rocket and still live (then the user gets out of their car and uses blowtorch almost instantaneously (trust me everyone does this same crap, hell I do it). *Also lets not forget about the Fresno, which with the same popular mods used on Espacios and Nulanders, you can have a car that can survive 1 osmaw rocket and 2 volcano rockets with a 100% chance of survival and still being able to be driven without breaking down as quickly as other cars* -God forbid the person is in a group or have someone to repair their car for them, it means less attention to their car along with support from their teammate and more time for chasing you down and mowing you -there are several variables that benefit car play mechanics more so than the negative aspect of using said "playstyle", I cant even think of a definite counter to it, though I can think of some it still isnt in the realm of 100% effective and a direct counter @Stunny

Saying a game doesnt need to change for the better is like saying time doesnt move. In sense everything does change as time goes on for it to adapt to the times. Having the game not change makes it perpetually stuck in a limbo state and in due time it will lose the playerbase it still has due to the game turning STALE. It doesnt have to apply to just mechanics wise either. The game has already changed for the better in several ways after all these updates. Guns were actually worked on and re-balanced as to give players more "fair" experiences and less about what the current METAs of the game. Change is inevitable for games like APB since theyre already so old and when it comes to APB like games where its more grounded in reality compared to something like FORTNITE which has cartoony graphics and overall childish un-aging game design (which really helps in its life span since the art style is very bright and rarely needs any work on if not at all). Change isnt always for the best but most of us can agree that the changes to APB in the recent has been beneficial most of the time and has led to a little bit more than just an acquisition by a new company. The treatment for this game that G1 never did now falls unto LO. As I said not all the updates were good, but collectively its nice to see things move forward instead of the hell we were all experiencing during the rule of G1.

Im talking about all bundles. Certain items like (EX Tin soldier, this gun sucks but for the sake of conversation lets say someone wants it) are locked behind the key to the world pack, better yet the 3D glasses are no longer available on events for reward so if you want it you have to buy the bundle if you want it. Along with the first example I used which is the Rhino kit (which is not included in ANY other bundles except for key to the world and Vegas rocker bundle which u have to buy the clothing with). So if you want the rhino kit you HAVE to buy the bundle its in (Check the armas store if you wanna make sure) There are several other clothing, kits, etc that are locked behind their bundles but Im using previously said examples to help my point. For people who already have said items from the bundles it just seems like a waste of cash to buy it AGAIN just because its behind the bundle wall.
