Playing on RTX2080 Super without any issues

Recommended Posts

Hellp please note me below if you have any issues of using RTX graphics card cause as far as im using it i didnt have any issues (except 1 place then i setup everything to be maxed out in advanced launcher)

1. im using Flaws config from hes twitch channel (a New Graphics one)
2. uninstalled updates from Windows called "KB4552931" and all installed with it (if you install it regularry you will not have more then 2)

thats all i done to get stable gameplay without any crashes on silver districts (i regurally play in like 2-4 hours sessions)

if its already fixed by game itself then just delete this post

Are you running a GTX 16XX series cards, or an RTX card ?

if yes this is an issue with apb that is caused by the game being unable to process 64 bit instructions
It tends to happen with all modern graphics cards , especially GTX 16XX Series and RTX Series cards

There is no fix for it other than wait for the engine upgrade

im using both at the same time - no issues at all, so i dont know whats im doing wrong ... but game is working almost perfectly not counting lower framerate like 70 - 130(where at 1050Ti i haved 85-90 up to 120) - i have no crashes at all

my GPU setup
main is 2080 Super and secondary as 1650
2080 has 2 screens connected and TV
1650 has 1 screen
somehow its working with windows 10 1903 (os compilation version 18362.778)

after windows updated(itself like it tend to do from time to time) with this update exacly (KB4552931) i tend to has a crashes. After I removed that update and all done in same day it stops crashing...

I can answer all questions you would have so just ask.

1650 has 1 screen

Is that a GDDR6 1650 or the GDDR5 version?

The 5 version shouldn't have this issue.

Hey folks,

I am running the game with RTX 2060 GPU and it seems I have the same issues. I can't play longer than 20-30 minutes because the game just crashes every time...

Did anyone find the solution? Will they release the new engine in short time?

There is no solution, playing the game in "minimal" or "low" tends to mitigate the issue.

We can only wait for the engine upgrade

i know how annoying it is, sometimes i just want to play and enjoy the game, but nope, crashes, just know that any kind of "miracle" fix people tell you, it won't fix the issue, it has been confirmed by devs where it's from and why it happens, it's just completely random.

@Ketog 1650 has GDDR5 (but i wasn't use that b4 i connected that after i finished my build with Virtual Machines over linux) i sended support ticket providing my PC setup logs and configs im using right now maybe it will get some fix apparently
And to add more data i was using RTX2080 Super only b4 and game was workign without issues (only on that one GPU) so im assuming playing on 1920x1080 (maximum ressolution) and usign Minimal preset from Flaws fix that issue temporarly)

@Tivi im not telling it can work for you but you should try to get Flaws config set it ingame to Minimal (it will still look OK its just named like that) reset game after that and check if you can play

Thank you for letting me know guys.

Maybe I found a temporary solution. If your game crashes/freezes just press CTRL+ALT+DEL then go back to your game. It will unfreeze your game - at least it worked for me several time so I could go back and proceed with my mission...
