Mumoki Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Hello dear APB Community , I have the problem that my APB Reloaded does not want to start. As soon as I open the launcher, it updates from the beginning. When it is finished and I go to "Play", the Easy Anti Cheat picture opens shortly and the desktop loading screen shows for 2 milliseconds, but nothing happens after that and it disappears from the Task Manager. I have already tried everything, from a new installation to a repair to a manual start via the program. So far, nothing has helped. I hope u can help. I have had no response from support since the beginning of the month.
Kevkof Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Check your anti-virus/malware programs, It's most likely blocking the game from launching And support is enjoying a lovely backlog of more than 2 weeks so just be patient with them I guess.

I have already checked my antivirus, but it is not because of that. Two months ago, APB worked perfectly.

I try to start the game, the both loadingscreens r popping up (easy anti cheat, apb) for 2 milliseconds and the game closes always. without error text or something. I checked the taskmanager and the launcher is shown, but the main game doesn't open. Merged. I don't do anything with APB since 2 months. This month I tried to play and then I got these Problems. I starting to despair. It's since the new Update I think.
Kevkof Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 All the people that I have heard about that had this issue were using F-Secure and after checking found that it was indeed blocking APB from launching. And since the game worked 2 months ago, what changes happened to the system between then and now?

Mumoki Posted January 22, 2020 Author Posted January 22, 2020 Uhm only updating GeForce and Windows. And ye, I have F-Secure, but why did it always work before? I've had it on the PC since the beginning.
