APB Loginscreen Fix and Removed Ambient Sounds

Hello,

 

I would like to ask you a question. I'm using an loginscreen fix for faster game loading + i removed all ambient sounds from game folder. Now my question, will it be a problem for Battleye? The PC i'm using, has a poor config, and this helps me to get some more FPS.

It will not be a problem.

Is it allowed? No, it's not allowed either.

BE will not do anything, but you are breaking the TOS.

Since BattlEye does take screenshots of your screen, I assume you will get banned for these changes?

How are they supposed to see that you removed ambient noise with a screenshot..? "I am deaf so I can't see!"

Also what are they supposed to see on that screenshot? That your screen is gray instead of having the normal login screen?

So if BE is set up to take screenshots, then LO have to go though them to actually check.

And since you are not even logged in yet, what can they really do about it?

 

If anything, I'll just fix the login screen part so that it'll load the normal character scenery, but not the login screen. /shrug

Yeah that's what I meant, wondering if they even find this offensive or not. All these tweaks or mods or whatever you call them are already out there in the wild and have been for a long time. It does break ToS but are they going to act upon it now? The ToS also stated shader edits were a bannable offense but they have never publicly or banned someone for it as far as I know. Unless you run it on a stream and everyone can see it.

These are config edits, not file edits.

I would say it's fine to use, but that's really down to how paranoid you are.

Kk thanks for info, I will check it after update. Work fine on OTW version so I hope there won't be any problems with it.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, there are ways to remove ambient noise and muzzle effects. Im not taking any chances so I'm just gonna reinstall the game and only transfer over APBCompat and BaseInput

There is a chance the old APBCompat will break you game.
