  1. The standard is that even Admins do NOT know your password, simply because they do not need it to make changes to accounts if needed. This is true everywhere, not just with APB. This keeps people safe from things like: "Hey, I am an Admin, please give me your password to check on your account and stuff". The common lies you hear from generic-Scum..

    With that said, I can only see three reasons as to why this thread exists:

    1 » OP made the mistake of sharing his information.

    2 » OP gave his weapons to an alt-account and he forgot that he did, keeping him/her puzzled.

    3 » OP is trying to be a smart cry-baby to have LO give some legendary-weapons to silence him/her.

    All in all, any damage is obviously OP's fault unless valid proof is shown.

    Rest in peace 💔

    Yeah, i got downvoted to hell for saying the game isn't pay to win and cheaters had a greater impact.

    It depends on who saw your message. I wish for reactions to NOT be anonymous, then people wouldn't hide behind it as much.

    In compliance with our First Amendment right to the United States Constitution, I hereby warn any fair or new players domestic or foreign;

    • Currently this game has a very active cheating community.
    • This forum is currently influenced by said cheaters and they will troll-post towards anyone stating this.

    Stating this warning until a suitable change is made is fair. Therefor this message will be bumped or re-posted once per day until the end of 2019 or until a suitable change is made towards the unsportsmanlike conduct fair players currently face. Cheating is cheating. Do not buy their cheats do not even accept them for free.

    Thank you for reading and have a good day. God bless.

    Every day till the end of 2019.. You'd only be wasting your time re-posting every day..

    Your dedication and time would prove more useful if you would video-record your matches & bust those Cheaters red-handed. I believe this would be 'a suitable change' to your strategy & would actually do the Community a great service.

    God bless.

  5. I heard APB's original code was made by 3 people only, so 10-50 people to port the code towards 3.5 should be sufficient to pull that off. Plus, the company needs funds to progress. It isn't easy to survive from 2 games only, considering they aren't as massive as other titles out there. Moreover, LO is experienced with mobile games, so adding 1 more shouldn't be taxing on the company.

    There you go. That's the source of will.io site also.

    Thx~~

    In the original code-example, the username & password are only used to login, since the server will ask for credentials before providing any service. The rest of the code shows what usually happens after a successful login:

    Your code adds more information to what's originally given.

    To protect one's account/privacy, the User can simply create a new account and login using that to a fresh-Trainee, but the code itself doesn't provide much use. If the code gets expanded to include population information or chat-functionality for example, it might become something of value to many. If you are able to expand the code in such a way, I recommend you first obtain Little Orbit's approval. You don't wanna get your entire work flagged as non-permissible when it is done.

    Hello.

    Ironic name, yes, cuz we all know that what hurts the most in this game 🙂

    Anyways, straight to the point. Some time ago a certain individual created a district instance tracking website. His library is public, so I've recently downloaded and continued his work. Long story short, the library exposes in-game stuff to use outside of the game itself by imitating the game client, minus the whole visual representation. What I'll be trying to make is either a website or desktop application where you would at least get an overview of your account. I've managed to do a lot more than original creator intended to.

    The problem here is, you need to provide email, password and character name in order to fetch data externally. So I already foresee people not being too keen on inputting stuff like that, but it is a must for proper functioning. Another problem is that this almost certainly breaks the TOS and EULA (cuz reversing and emulating), so I'd take this chance to ask any officials if I'm allowed to make upcoming iterations public. On the other hand, nice thing here is that there is absolutely no need for official support or API (for now). My intents are not malicious at all. It doesn't start, patch, use or manipulate any of the binaries of APB: Reloaded. I would also make the project open source to be as transparent and as clear as possible. Players would be able to compile their own versions with knowing everything that is going on.

    So, if this were to be made public and got official permission, would you as a player and community member use something like this in order to overview in-game stuff/data without the need for you being in-game?

    For anyone who's interested in what's already available, here's a little snippet of what you have for selected character once the library manages to execute properly:

    Mails, groups, marketplace, clan management, chat channels - everything can be exposed with external client, just needs time, patience and will.

    Please provide a link to that certain individual's public library. I -and probably many others- would like to see the history behind this individual's work straight from the mastermind himself.

    Hi everyone,

    I'm happy to weigh in on the OP's original question.

    Yes - we do ban players for harassment.

    Yes - we do read the reports that are submitted to Support.

    Obviously, we're still working on our Support turn around time. It is still unacceptably high. That staff keeps growing, and we continue to train and find new ways to optimize our ability to properly research and respond to tickets. However, once we have researched the activity/chat logs for the reported player, we do reach out with warnings or other actions.

    Usually we go through a process of warnings that explain what they did wrong.

    If they continue, then we give a 1 day temp ban.

    Then we give a 7 day temp ban.

    And if they still can't seem to correct the behavior, we do a permanent ban.

    After slogging it out for 5 months and getting hundreds of these reports, we have also developed new tools from scratch that will allow us to respond faster to these kinds of issues. This includes a new customization review tool that allows our team to look at symbols and clothing across an account without having to manually get into the game. We are also waiting for some final dev resources to free up, so we can finish off the new /report system.

    TL;DR - If you are using racial slurs, hate speech, telling people they need to commit suicide or generally being a toxic, abusive, harassing player, then you are putting your account at risk.

    Thanks,
    Matt

    May you and your team forever be blessed, Amen~~

    Long-time apb player, +5 years. Haven't been able to play since this it was acquired by this new company. Wanted to play, abit, but the lame battle-eye prevented me. Feel it's time to inquire if it's my time to get back to APB. Error 1;
    23:49:50: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\msvcp110.dll".

    Deleted that file and got this error;

    The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP110.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

    Possibly reinstall APB what else?

    Disable Windows Defender and Windows Firewall, also run the game as an Administrator
