     We asked for an Anticheat to stop aimbotters/smooth aim, teleporting ect during combat.

    Not a program that banned for artists n layering programs, not for peps using a vpn to limit latency.

    It appears from speculative postings that this person may have been banned for being out of bounds.

    But we don't know, nor does the player in question. Now if thats what happened then i can see some punishment

     but not a perm ban for a first offense. If you're out of bounds then the game made it possible for you to be there and 

    is then a game programming's fault. Not the player exploiting a spot, unless its done multiple times. 

    You should just be kicked from the server or match. In any case EAC still doesn't seem to effect those with 

    perfect aim. So You can see where I'm coming from here, everything else is on a learning curve,

    But fighting those with aimbot or smooth aim is not, there is no 'Getting Gud', no learning from a mistake.

    This is why the Game is no longer tolerable to some, there is no way to win against an aimbotter. 

    You can surprize him, trick him, out maneuver him. But when it comes to the gun fight he will always get you.

    When word gets out that a particular game is hacked out, new people don't come, old people go away, financial backing

    and profit go out the window. What is left is the handful of hax complaining the game sucks and the pop is so low, after they

    hacked it out n ruined it for so many. As I've always said, You Reap What You Sow. 

    Oh yea I know. As everyone here knows ive been very vocal about it for many years now along with the game flaws and it took this long to get to where we are now with the flaws being fixed. The biggest issue (and has been since forever) is that Matt and LO dont actually want to put in the work to squash these hackers. GMs are nothing more the glorified hosts who dont handle issues in game and if you do bring one up they tell you to use the report system which doesnt work. If it actually does work how about some proof it is LO?

    They need a GM in all districts to watch for hackers and to remove them as well as both client side and server side anti cheat thats actually effective. Last but not least update the game code so that the hackers cant keep updating their stuff. We all know the code was released and thats how the hacks got through so easily.

    I completely agree. LO should of had this all ready to go without issue. When the IO Growl was released the lights were useable. There really isnt any excuse as to why they couldnt have this stuff good to go. They could also release an emergency patch to fix this not wait for a future sched maint to fix it. Not to mention the car is a purchase for single char only. If you want it on 3 characters your purchasing it 3 times. One for each char.

    On Windows 7, I had the garbage collection stuttering, and if I turned that off, the fps would drop over time. Borderless and Fullscreen didn't have much of a difference with input lag.

    On Windows 10, the fps drops over time regardless of what configs I use. There's noticeable input lag. Average fps is lower if I don't turn off fullscreen optimization. Borderless feels like 60fps with vsync.
    On Linux, it's about the same as Windows 7, but with higher average fps. This probably due to DXVK spreading the CPU load more evenly across CPU cores.

     

    Not an apples to apples comparison, since I can't test the latest APB patch on Windows 7, and I didn't test the older versions on Linux or Windows 10. Regardless, there's noticeable overhead with the way Windows 10 handles DX9 games. I wonder if EAC allows DXVK on Windows?

    Ive never had an FPS drop over time personally. Its always been steady for me but was never the highest due to said lack of optimization. Both win 7 and 10. I just bring up steam and launch the game through the APB launcher.

    We don't address LO, We simply don't pay funds to any game using EAC.

    They give back Kerry's account n I'll consider paying again, if the game in question

    has anything worth purchasing. This also means that any game using EAC is full of hax,

    based on what I know from this game.

     They like Why are you always calling everyone hackers in my other game, n i'm like Well 

    isn't it obvious, they use EAC so ya know most players have bypassed it and are hacking. 

    I would be three but ive barely been playing so I dont exactly count anymore. Not the best player in the world but I can say that ive always been legit.

    APB runs like crap on anything cause the game isnt optimized. Its also on highly outdated software that hasnt been updated for newer stuff and the servers they use are low end that really cant handle the game. You will never get APB to run well so long as they dont fix these issues on their end. Ppl have resported to using other programs to make APB run decently but personally I just run APB as itself.

    Wish they fixed the premium timer.... oh right. Its been broken since the pandemic giveouts and they never fixed the time for me.

    If anyone remembers I had rotator cuff surgery back in 2019. Did halloween via controller and one hand. Need it again as ive been in pain since.

    You should have been working on matchmaking when you first bought the game. Not wait till 2023 to even look at it. It was a major flaw that everyone has been yelling about since the beginning. Add on the dethreating problem and it only gets worse. You also need to squash the dethreating problem in the community along with matchmaking if you want any chance at fair games. A revamp to the threat system would also be beficial to this cause.

    Finally. After 9+ years APB is seeing progress. Hopefully this will continue on and hopefully some events that havent been rotated in a number of years are rotated in. Like the orig Anarchy event hasnt been run in well over 5 yrs and it has steam achievements to it. Which is another question. Will LO be working to fix the achievements so they show correctly in steam and add more to steam so players have more to work towards? Afew examples

    Threat achievements. Getting silver and gold gets you achievements on steam.
    Weapon role achievements, Weapon role leveling for the vets is a big thing and having them on steam would be a bigger reward for sticking to a weapon class for awhile. As It currently sits you dont get anything as a reward untill you max out a role, in which you get the chrome skin. Every 5 lvls and max (16) would be something to fill the gap.

    So whatever happened to premium time? During the pandemic LO gave it out and my timer has counted down the entire time. That bug where the time still counted down was never fixed was it? Cause as of now im missing about 2rs worth of prem time.

    You cant balance weapons based on non existent hitreg and bots that make weapon stats unrealistic. You guys did a rebalance based off of weapon use and KDR at one point in time and with the constant closets and blatents out there all you did was ruin the weapons. These KDR stats arent accurate or genuine so long as bots are the majority. You also cant get accurate weapon stats when hitreg dont work. It has been proven countless times it doesnt work and this if it did work properly weapon stats would be much different.

     

    TLDR: You cant even begin to discuss weapon balancing untill core game flaws are fixed
