Something i thought id share with the community, If your pinky finger starts to hurt from holding down that shift button all day, making it painful to play after a while, or you just wish the game had a sprint toggle in general, heres a thing you can do: Go to APB Reloaded\APBGame\Config and open DefaultInput.ini The very first binding in there +Bindings=(Name="Sprint",Command="InputSprinting | OnRelease InputStopSprinting") Change InputSprinting to something else, i changed mine to InputToggleDuck (crouching) and InputStopSprinting changed to InputSprinting result is +Bindings=(Name="Sprint",Command="InputToggleDuck | OnRelease InputSprinting") took a few hours to get used to but it feels so liberating to run around effortlessly now You could also just reverse it so that holding shift would make you walk instead of sprint, or as i realize it now while writing this, changed them both to InputSprinting, that way you wouldnt have to get used to shift doing something else. Edit: just realized doing anything otehr than a crouch for shift will prevent you from sprinting out of a crouch so just stick with the very first option +Bindings=(Name="Sprint",Command="InputToggleDuck | OnRelease InputSprinting") and ignore the stuff i crossed out. So yeah, thats all.

  3. In hopes that you are reading, you kinda won me over by posting these updates every week, thanks for putting in the effort thus far, That being said, is already monday, still dont know the status of how much more i need to wait :C

Ok so during the merge, i didnt realize it was already happening and i bought an outfit pack and i never received it, i have submitted a support ticket about it but a few days have passed already and i still ahd no reply, im guessing support is busy with all the problems brought on by the merge so would it be possible for me to just buy the same pack again and add to my ticket that i bought it already and ask them to give me my G1C back instead? are they capable of doing this? because i know that they got more important shit on their hands than the completion of my outfit but aint going to wait 2 weeks for them to answer and i just wanna finish the outfit already so i wanted to know if such an option is possible when they do get back to me before i purchase the pack again.
  7. what if, instead of making empty test districts, just make a copy of the guns, add "test" to the names and change their stats and let people use them in normal missions
  8. Are all the people that lost their guns from nekrova or did this effect existing citadel users too? Also please make a way to report people from the scoreboard or something because of the russian symbols in names, i dont have a russian keyboard
  9. hey so at what hour was this update supposed to start? i cant find that anywhere, i wanna know how much longer i need to wait for it to need cuz im dieing to play fight club

Give enforcers more things to do, crims can steal cars, mug, ram raid and all enforcers can do is try to catch them in the act and just get scraps of what the crims are getting, and while youre at it, give enforcers a good way to reach P5, crims can just shoot and mug people to easily get to N4 and work their way up to 5 from there, enforcers can only get to P2 or p3 before turning in stolen goods stops giving you anything anymore. On the crim side of things, make one crim going to money laundry not drop notoriety for the rest of the group, its really annoying.
  11. Im not sure which ones of these were adressed or not so imma just list them all here, these are some issues that started happening ever since LO took over. 1. When launching the game, if you dont smash that esc button to skip the reloaded productions logo, the game will get stuck showing all the logos and sometimes even forcing you to sit through the intro video as well before you can log in. 2. After returning to lobby to change character a few times, some of the objective markers disappear in world, can only see them on world map on fight club, also half of the player name tags as well on fight club, in missions districts all objective markers disappear. 3. Sometimes the game will randomly disconnect you or a bunch of people in the same district as you with the error message saying servers went offline when they clearly havent and everyone else is still playing. 4. Exiting the game makes it crash and you cant start it again through steam unless you kill the game and a bunch of copies of some exception handler thing from task manager, steam will also show you as still playing it. 5. In Settings, key bindings menu, sometimes you get weird squigles and ~- looking lines where the key letters should be. BONUS: Long standing issuess that i hope maybe LO can finally fix? 1. Messed up spawns in waterfront around the big boat area. 2. Outfit editor clothing order buttons dont work half of the time, need to wear things in a specific order for the buttons to start working. 3. No image resampling, when projecting decals onto surfaces, the game does a quick and dirty resize for them to match the texture resolution of the surface its being projected on, i realize this process isnt using resampling because it could potentially be laggy when scaling and positioning the decal onto a surface, but what if you used resampling after all is done and you exit edit mode and its baking it all down onto a single texture image? jagged decal edges are really ruining car designs and makes them have ugly black smudge around the edges. 4. For the love of god, fix those bounding boxes for vehicle physics, it always makes my piss boil whenever i get "ran over" by a car that did not even touch me, i know different body panels change the shape of the car slightly but come on, nothing changes the shape so drastically that it would ever stick out the bounding box. 5. On subject of bounding boxes, why not use the same body part bounding boxe the players models use to show blood splatters when hit by bullets and simulate ragdoll physics for hitscan as well instead of using one HUGE bounding box for the whole model like its 1995, half of the time it doesnt even match the player(im guessing thats part of the problem with cars running you over when they were not even touching you), when the player is running and leaning forward, the whole upper part of the body sticks out of the bounding box, and if you shoot it, you will get blood splatters but it wont do any actual damage to the player, and its really annoying when you think all your bullets hit them because you saw their blood splatter, but they are still not dead, or when you are hiding behind cover that you think is tall enough to hide your whole body because your player height is very short, and they still manage to shoot the invisible bounding box sticking out above your head because it doesnt take your height into account. TL;DR use the already existing body part bounding boxes for hit detection as well instead of using one huge rectangle. 6. A common sense thing to do in map design (that seems to have eluded the original devs of the game) is adding clip brushes to seal off parts of map geometry that is sticking out ever so slightly, even if its by a few pixels, your player's bounding box will get snagged on it and you will get stuck on things, its really annoying, especially in the asylum, or alternatively, make the player bounding box a cylinder instead of a rectangle, that would save you a crap ton of map work. Thats all i can think of the top of my head, might add more later.
