    This guy got unbanned on Monday. There was no wave on monday and this was after the 1st wave which took place on Friday. So he got unbanned via his ticket. Most people who are getting unbanned via ticket obviously aren't here on the forums talking about it but instead playing APB: Reloaded.

     

    Just like when there's a problem with a game, most people you'll see on X's game forum are people complaining about problems whilst most people without problems are busy playing the game, hence why you'll rarely see "Wow this game works perfectly, thanks Y company".

    So you're telling us @Lixil is trying to flood the customer support system by spreading misinformation? According to you she's telling people to contact support, in a thread about 'Accont blocked', just for them to get ignored.

    And "again" because every single one of your posts is an assumption with no basis on fact. You ASSUME ban-related tickets are going ignored or getting copy/pasta responses. You ASSUME tickets are being handled by category. You ASSUME the ticket count is over 4k. You're just a bag of assumptions, and without facts you're spreading misinformation. Do you get that?

     

    On saturday Matt posted the weekly status of customer support, where the ticket count was at 1,087 untouched/open tickets. You think over the course of the last 4 days there were over 3,000 tickets created and opened? Since Little Orbit took over the new customer support on May 15th up until the 2nd of June there was only a total of 3,378, and now you're telling us that in the last 4 days over 3k+ tickets have been created in order to total 4k+ tickets in the system?

     

    Boy where do you get your facts? I assumed you were being really nice all over the forums because you applied for the 'Volunteer GM' program and wanted to give off a good impression.. so the least you can do is keep up with threads created by the CEO of Little Orbit; 

     

     

    I highly doubt the tickets jumped from 1,087 untouched to 4,000+ in the last 4 days. And lastly, we have no idea what method support uses to approach tickets. Nothing but speculation. And clearly the numbers on tickets are irrelevant since being ticket #3074 myself whilst there were 1,087 tickets untouched/open on the day which i submitted my ticket just means the number is a placeholder for their system and nothing more.

     

    All i'm saying is stop spreading misinformation.

    Why would @Lixil tell people to submit tickets regarding bans, in other threads related to bans, if they intend to ignore them or paste a copy/pasta response? Makes no sense. Furthermore if they're planning a second unban wave it benefits them to clear as many unjust bans as possible prior to that, to avoid getting a mass influx of tickets after the 2nd unban wave about still being banned despite the unban wave being completed. They'd just be asking for another 1k+ tickets to flood their system asking to be unbanned and asking why they weren't hit by the 2nd wave.

     

    Do you have some kind of inside information that we don't, or proof to support your statement that customer support is ignoring or copy/pasta replying to ban-related tickets? Or are you spreading misinformation again?

    1 or 2 days? Yeah right. I sent my ticket 5 days ago and not even a reply. Other people have sent tickets over 2 weeks ago and have yet to get a response. He didn't ask for special treatment so I'm not sure why you're assuming he thinks he's a "special snowflake". He just wants to know, from the community, what kind of ETA to expect. Who better to ask than the people who have written tickets and waited on responses themselves, to give a rough estimate on their wait time to the OP?

     

    Where did he say he expects a reply to his ticket in minutes? He was just asking for a fucking estimate on how long he should expect to wait for a reply for his ticket.

     

    And who are you to dictate what does and doesn't deserve a forum post? Your reply is nothing but a shitpost and you think it has more worth than the OP's post? What are you? Some kind of self-entitled special snowflake? Boy the irony of your post is sad.

    Indeed. Doesn't matter how frustrated we get, at the end of the day none of that will speed anything up. So patience is key. We just have to wait and hope for the best. That is all we can do. Wait and hope that Little Orbit are working as hard as we imagine they are to get all of these issues solved, all of us who they deem worthy back into the game, and onwards with the future of APB!

    On a serious note; glad to see i'm not the only one who feels that way though. Those are just my inner thoughts that i usually just close chrome when i feel and avoid expressing on here because you'll get hate and be called ungrateful for not being patient enough. And fair enough to that, it's true... which is why i edited my message - at the end of the day that is exactly the only thing we can do; wait and be patient. Doesn't matter how much we complain because Little Orbit are working as best as they can to get to all of us.

     

    I know Little Orbit are doing their best managing everything and everyone, at every aspect of this game/community so I don't blame them, as I'm sure they're being pushed and pulled in 100 different directions at once.

     

    "fix this, fix that, help me recover my email, unban me, nerf this, buff this, upgrade the engine" And on and on..

    Yeah, i agree, it would be nice to have an ETA on this, even if it's a rough one. Don't get me wrong, I am extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity of being unbanned and to return back to APB: Reloaded, to play the game once again after 4+ years of being banned, but with every day that passes without a reply to my ticket or information being given on the next unban wave, I am becoming more and more disillusioned with returning, as if it's never really going to happen. I know patience is key and we just have to wait, but there hasn't been any information on this concept of waves of unbanning, considering we all thought we'd get unbanned all at once, and then we're told it's actually going to happen in waves but not given any dates to go with...

     

    I think a lot of us have been so eager to return to the world of APB, specifically to take up our old characters and get back what was once taken from us, more than anything because of how hopeful this acquisition by Little Orbit seems, and how this game is finally going to start going places and be the APB we all wanted. So please excuse our lack of patience, on behalf of all of us who are still banned, but we are just so excited to get back into the game!

     

    Hopefully you're able to empathise with us and try to give us a bit of information, an ETA, anything!

    Nope. Still waiting. Don't know what i was banned for though so I don't know what to wait for. Either i was falsely flagged by FairFight so the next unban wave, or something else i have no clue of - such as being abused by a GM who just didn't like me maybe - in which case I'll have to wait for a ticket response. Ultimately i won't get to play this weekend, and considering my ticket number is above the 3,000 range, perhaps i won't play for a long time, if at all.

     

    Hope the next unbanning wave comes soon, or at least that our tickets get some sort of response, just so we don't jump to the conclusion that they are going ignored. But the only thing we can do at the end of the day is wait and be patient.

    Interesting. What did you even do? Don't disclose if you don't want to. Now im really curious what the hell i got accused of. One other thing, when did you send your support ticket? I sent mine maybe half an hour ago, so should i expect a response anytime soon or did you send yours ages ago?

     

    Thanks for staying on here to keep me updated and help out. I need a hand to hold in these sad and desperate times haha

    I want to cry now. I don't even know what i did to get banned. And most likely i won't get unbanned automatically which means waiting for weeks for a reply from support, only to either be told I don't fall within the requirements of getting unbanned because i didn't cheat, or to have my account stripped of everything I had because i was abused by some GM who had it out for me, so basically starting from square one. 

     

    I can't catch a break.

    I didn't do anything i shouldn't have and never spoke to anyone outside of my group of friends so... I'm pretty sure i didn't do anything i shouldn't have, though since it's been a minimum of 4 years since i was banned, who knows, i sure as hell don't remember what i was doing 4+ years ago - however, if i was subject to GM Abuse, then i'm not even gonna bother checking my account cause you know for sure if they banned me for nothing other than disliking me then they would have stripped the account, sold/delete everything, etc. 

     

    Would be extremely disappointing but if that happens to be the case then i don't have much interest in returning. My only interest was to return and see my old character, old weapons, vehicles, designs, etc. And if the game happened to get new content then of course i would play it - but not from square one. Especially not after seeing my PURCHASE HISTORY on my account, seeing how much money i stupidly spend all those years ago!

     

    Thanks for any help if you're able to check the FF thing for me, guess we're in the same boat for now :P


  15. Same here. Just put in a ticket. You know though, upon reflection of the copy and paste responses that i did get from the old support team, to this day i still do not know why i was banned. So even if i somehow get an automated unban prior to getting a response on my ticket, i would love to know why i was banned - and i did request information on my ban so hopefully they'll provide.

     

    I always assumed it was a false flag from FairFight, and since there was no way to actually contact a real person at support aside from automated responses and copy+paste once you got banned, i eventually gave up spending ages writing tickets requesting information on my ban just for them to go unread, every single time. I still, to this day, have no clue why i was banned. When writing my ticket to support just now though i checked my old email address for the automated message i used to get, it's so vague it's ridiculous to be honest. This was from June 2014, and this may or may not have already been my 2nd or 3rd ticket, so over 4 years ago since I got banned. Minimum 4 years. This was the automated message i used to get though;

     

    "Thank you for contacting Gamers First Customer Support. We regret to inform you that your account has been permanently suspended.

    Someone with access to this account was observed performing an inappropriate activity which violates our posted Terms of Service policy. This account has been permanently closed due to behavior contrary to the policies of our Terms of Service. This account will not be unblocked and all current/future tickets will be closed with no further action taken

    The GamersFirst support team is committed to preserving the integrity and fairness of the game for all players."

     

    I wonder if all along i was banned for something else unrelated to cheating and thought i was falsely flagged this whole time... so god damn vague. Did you guys who actually cheated get this type of response or was it more direct and actually mention the fact that you were cheating?

    Thank you for letting us all know Frosi. I'm the kind of person who wouldn't download OTW and have to do 'testing' and deal with bugs and what-not, so i genuinely appreciate you doing so for us, and also for coming here to let us know of the issues to be vigilant for and not just testing for yourself. Truly appreciate it.

     

    EDIT:

    I wonder if there's any impact with background programs that integrate themselves as an overlay such as Shadowplay? Anything from performance impact to clashing with BattlEye? Just asking to ask by the way, not requesting!

    Please do. I have seen countless thread now being driven off-topic completely by post-whores who post the most random shit just to increase their total post count. I am now seeing threads filled with the very same offenders.

    Not only is it posted in the Social District sub-section where they know the post will get more attention and traction despite being an off-topic sub-section thread, every single person who has posted in there are the same people you'll find derailing threads with drivel and irrelevant shit to boost their post count. Haven't said anything until now but it's absolutely disgraceful and infuriating. Give these assholes a nice week ban from the forum, slow down their pointless whoring for post count.
