Sorry but I'm still not gonna pay 20-25 eu per gun 😕

there is an option for non-acc bound/perm then xd

nah, i get you.

but - the prices are way much more fair in comparison though. it used to be 50$ per gun as maximum, now it's 24 at max.

there are also guns a fair bit cheaper.

i think the best thing is the bundle of 5 zero-slot weapons for a bit of under 25$

https://www.gamersfirst.com/marketplace/ingame/product_details.php?storetype=g1c&gameID=20&catID=63&subcatID=204&productId=3812

includes basically one weapon accbound perm for most possible situations minus antivehicular... 0 slot tho.

• The permanent weapons are still expensive as hell. If the weapons I've been looking at getting have been reduced, I can't tell the difference (or it's not big enough for it to matter to me).

they are down from 3999 g1c to 2999 g1c at max from what i've seen. along with 20% cheaper g1c, it is quite a significant decrease.

0.8*0.75=0.6

every weapons price has been lowered by 40% as minimum from what i've seen.

they said the price was actually reduced by 20-50% in this patch so the effective decrease over original gamersfirst is between 36% and 60%

to top it off, these prices are also getting decreased by premium, so it'd be between 51,2% and 68% (sorry for math errors, only did those numbers in my head)

now... this is a relatively reasonable baselevel i guess? i do think it is still a lot to ask for. you're looking at 30$ for the most expensive weapons.

(24$ with premium sounds pretty fair - atleast in comparison - though)

however, the prices were considerably lowered.

maybe they'll do a 20% sale one day, but this is already better than the sales niveau of g1.

so - asking for further lowering or an additional sale seems highly unreasonable - atleast at this point of time.

• some preset guns have odd pricing structure (e.g. Colby PMG 'Hush' X-III is 2,999 for 2 open slots, then the Colby PMG X-III 'Murmur' PR1 is 2,599 but the PR2 is back to 2,999)

the pr2 should be more expensive than the pr1 though i guess

all other points seem very valid (including general preset pricing inconsistencies which also affects this)

i still do think 30 dollars is still a quite high asking price (unless there are sales in future i guess that would give players another option too - 30 sounds like a fair "base"price) - even for accbound perm (bear in mind, this is just for one weapon. if you wanted one for each scenario you'd easily end up at 3-4 primaries and 1-2 secondaries - that is barely comparable with the prices of AAA games).

(it doesnt really affect me, i already have like 70 accbound perm weapons + legendaries, i'm not begging. just saying. guess the numbers will tell.)

definitely a good change.

i guess when converting to euros the prices seem even more fair. especially with premium. it's still lower than g1s sales prices, so i can't *really* complain.

now... the page still doesnt load for me though, i can't actually look at the mp

4. just try things out, just consider going low sens to proactively prevent carpal tunnel/rsi syndrome.

high dpi + (very) low sens is better to avoid pixel skipping, since the ingame and windows sensitivity settings are basically a multiplier of what the mouse detects.

5. it's not a script, it's just changed textfiles.

manually (more or less)/(but definitely) inofficially. there is no option for this.

any modification to the clients files (outside of certain configs e.g. by advanced launcher) can lead to bans.

there wasn't an explicit exception made for these textfiles so battleye might get triggered.

there hasn't been an explicit warning about not being allowed to do this specifically either. i don't see how it is so bad, considering you can just look it up in apbdb(v2) too - there are more gamebreaking things.

but ye, it is most definitely not >allowed<.

QUESTIONS FOR LO do you plan to restore and put to work Admin TRACK  ?

http://apbdb.com/

there is an admin tracker directly built into the forums

https://forums.gamersfirst.com/discover/6/

i've also made one that includes all mods i've encountered so far

https://forums.gamersfirst.com/discover/15/

there is an admin tracker on apbvault/apbdbv2

https://db.apbvault.net/tracker/

apbdb is inofficial (just like apbvault) and is not being worked on anymore by the author (unlike apbvault)

so:

no action from LO needed whatsoever (probably not even possible)

vendetta didnt get funding and was most likely completely abandoned

(retribution was terrible and probably outsourced to begin with xd)

they said that some contacts are going to be worked on and that they have stuff archived

some concepts are from 2007 - the games earliest developtment and were clearly abandoned. have you seen the old promo vids? that was an entirely different game.

others than that, ye, events would be nice again. what kind of terrible translator did you use though? xd

please use
giant images
next time.

sure we can. nuclear bomb is about to go off. one territory or another......bomb diffused....... no one kills the other but in doing so no ones territory is destroyed so no one loses either. thats an ideal tie.

pretty much what we ran into...... wish we ran into a taco stand instead.

diffusion of bombs seems rather destructive though

or do you disassemble it and diffuse the parts of just one

8. only 11 days early with that title then

still was plainly wrong at that point of time and you stated plainly wrong info in your post too (which was visible on the very site you screenshotted - and you decided to crop it off)

and hey, probably the next few months will have new "all time lows" just like it always is when something is constantly dropping

surprise surprise

not saying this is a good development but it has never been an unforeseen/unforeseaable one - and there was little to no reason for it not to happen. as i stated before.

I see bronzes carrying osmaw all the time. repairing a car doesn't mean much under those circumstances *shrugs*

I gave a link to an actual definition of pay to win....

there is no pay wall restricting content to where you must pay to win. that is what the definition from an actual dictionary said.

lots of your "urban" dictionary's are not in fact dictionary's at all and thus are inaccurate. They are made by people using examples of what it means to them rather than an actual definition.

Simply put , by a proper dictionary it said APB is not p2w by definition.

There is no way premium is p2w since p2w does not exist in APB.

But there are a lot of people who complain that they died by something and blamed it rather than they just "dun goofed up" and died for it *shrugs*

it is not p2w because there is no p2w. flawless argumentation.

here, i'll counter your argument:

premium is p2w because there is p2w in apb.

there is no dictionary definition of this because this isn't in any official dictionary (prove me wrong). noone even mentioned urban dict.

premium is p2w because it would hypothetically give one of two players - that otherwise have the same conditions - a significant edge over the one without premium. take radar jammer or spotter.

the cd reduction is a direct upgrade that directly affects gameplay. for the cost of money. hence it is p2w.

honestly sounds like a bunch of people that have no use for purchasing premium anymore because they don't need money or standing and just want the benefits with out having to pay for it

you go from "there are no advantages" (besides money and standing) to "people want the advantages for free" very quickly

also the classic "i have no arguments so i rely on allegations"

rlk69sn.jpg

p2w shouldn't have a place in apb.

or I don't use car det and even further proves that u don't gain a competitive edge for simply having premium

except that with every other activatable mod (except banner) you do

less cd on blowtorch? running made even more easy

less cd on field supplier? switch weapon immediately to adapt to situations more often without wasting time by running to any machine or wasting a slot on your car

less cd on radar jammer? disturb enemy radar twice as often

less cd on spotter? get free wallhack twice as often

ye, just kick out the website team etc, hire new people (especially all the experts on conversion from ue 3 to 3.5 (to 4) (especially those familiar with apbs custom code (hint: the former group is not very big either))), once you don't need these anymore, dump them, just hire new ones.

this is not how hr etc. works.

it's not like there has to be a huge investment made to implement a service like this

ofc there are more important things than premium subscriptions

Sadly that is not entirely true.

Each mission you get unpledged will temporary pledge you for mission with ANY random contact - completed or not.

That way you progression can be significantly lowered due to fact that you will do mission to maxed out contacts, wasting eventually earned standing to 0.

When I was newbie back then - it happened a lot to me, until it pissed me off so much that I discovered that I can pledge by exploring contacts screen. Still tons of standing from mission was lost back then.

Also as you mentioned pledging gives you control over what you gonna unlock in succession. Very useful when you start you adventure with APB (since you gonna unlock what you want then - like clothing, weapons, cars etc.)

unless you get 0 standing to show up on the scoreboard i think you do get progress - and i have yet to get a mission while unpledged with 0 standing when there is still any non-maxed npc in the district.

i've only leveled two characters to 255 yet - i've never pledged after my first 100h in apb.

my second r255 char that had premium like 99% of my playtime has 19 days of mission district time and was unpledged at all times. (and i didn't play much since r255)

it also progressed the last npc with every mission i've done.

so either i had mad rng luck - which i honestly doubt - or it does work a different way.

i'm not trying to insult you or anything, however i've experienced that differently.

do you have a maxed char that was pledged and had premium most of the time by any chance so you could compare playtime?

(i have been afk/searching for missions/playing in an already maxed district for a fair share so it might be higher than the minimum.

i'm also not a top tier player so i don't get mad amount of kills so progress can definitely be made faster.

however, you should be getting way lower playtime if you do lose massive amounts of standing by not pledging)

14. The pledging stuff is plainly wrong, as long as there is one contact that isn't max in the district you are in, you will earn standing.

The opposite is the case: if you forget to unpledge/pledge to another one after maxing it out, you will not advance.

So the safer way is to not pledge at all unless you want something specific. (or to track your progress outside of missions without going to the contacts tab)

And if you stop advancing, switch to Waterfront if you were on Financial or vice versa.

I kind of feel like not being able to pay your employees without burning through whatever runway you have left is kind of important to talk about. But thats just me.

? is this some assumption or are there any facts that back that up? LO LLC had 5m annual sales prior to acquiring apb.
i kinda doubt they will have to rely on not paying their staff in near future and of course they might still be using budgets.
do you think they just acquired this game without any prior thought? they knew what they were in for, they most likely have seen the stats before too.
there has been no real campaigns to bring players in/back so far.

if it was looking supee dire, you'd see signs. there haven't sales every few weeks, there haven't been ads for other games etc and other things unlike from g1 yet.

they are working on it, as you can see.

We shouldn't complain if choices are being made that are killing the game?
Not that I was complaining, I was just checking the steam charts. But since you brought it up, what do you think our role as consumers is?
which choices are being made that kill the game? fixing systems? adding systems? oris this still about shotguns?

there are no reasons why the numbers would be rising rn, there is no advertising done by lo - because there isn't much to advertise yet - there is no new content yet - but they are laying a good base here.
should they just bash out unfinished stuff to somehow bring in people that will just see the same old stuff? surely that is gonna work out great.

the role of consumers is to consume and fall for marketing fads/hypes these days. and have an occassional uproar about anything that slowly crept into market but that won't change much.

complaining and feedback is good but "muh playernumbers" is just nonsense. they are/should be fully aware since this is their product though.
