Ask yourself if they would tell anything else in such situation? Uncontrolled servers full of cheaters makes people run away from the game faster than new players joins in. Of course, they will keep this for themselves (hopefully) and when patch with new anticheat comes, they got the data of all the cheaters who should get the big hammer in the bottoms once (.....hope is a strategy here.....)

It's not that you can say; golds = cheaters, just to clarify. Same logic you're using would be; clouds = rain

Leaderboards, who would have seen this coming? I have never read anywhere that this would have been such a big request from the APB community that this has to be implemented.. If so, who is that important in the community that wished for this?

I don't find it either insane or funny to ask for documentation when you claim the company behind the game is earning more by selling cheats. I've been around since 11' as well but with my knowledge and experience of the game, I can't conclude such statements without documentations - neither can you it seems
