  1. For those who haven't gotten the tin foil email yet, check your spam folder.
  2. If that's the case then I'm a little miffed tbqh. It's the old players who have kept holding on and playing this game, supporting it (myself included) through continuing to buy etc. The engine upgrade isn't even out yet, and while I don't know the exact number yet, I'm pretty sure the majority amount of people even playing will be mostly made up of OLD players (plus all their alts) not new players. It would be a different story if this event was after engine update where it could start being promoted, but as of now? It sucks because this would have been a major draw to a couple of friends who haven't played in a while to come back, only to then turn out that we can't play together due to not wanting to be unfair to a low amount of new players (I think, if I'm wrong on that please correct me) With that said, Jericho pop is so low that when doing missions it's typically premade vs premade most of the time (my own personal experience) Not sure why that had to change for this event. I'm just salty but that's my two cents.
  3. Yep. Same here, was looking forward to playing this as a group WITH friends. I understand the need for balance and trying to be fair but it just takes away the choice and the fun factor. It's annoying, irritating and infuriating especially in a competitive game where you're trying (most of the time) your best to win in a seasonal timed event. Apb is at its best, imo when playing in a group with friends/premade. If anything this is a huge drawback to even coming back to the game.
  4. "For the past few years we have been working on improving the quality of multiplayer experiences in DotA and CS:GO by relaying the traffic and carrying it on our network backbone. This protects our gameservers from denial-of-service attacks and gives players all over the world a lower-latency, higher-quality connection. Today we are releasing APIs that make this service available to all Steam partners. This gives you: Access to our network, giving your players protection from attack, 100% reliable NAT traversal, and improved connectivity. Tools for instantly estimating the ping between two arbitrary hosts without sending any packets. A high quality end-to-end encrypted reliable-over-UDP protocol. These updates are available as part of the Steamworks SDK v1.44 release, available now" https://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamworks#announcements/detail/1791775741704351698
  5. Wouldn't LO ban the advanced launcher/configs then if they were meant for giving advantages/same tier as auto aim/wall hacks etc? Jw. I don't know if they went into detail about why they decided to let them through. That being said, I do have to agree with Cookie, i don't have the best rig but it's not a potato and even then I have to use Advanced Launcher for the game to run with somewhat stable frames. So many people here complain about their rigs being more than capable for the issues they're experiencing. How is that related to them using AL to get rid of "annoying" things and causing advantage?
  6. Any word on how configs will be affected or will they be obsolete once the engine upgrade happens? If that's the case it would be nice to have some more options added to the playerbase such as being able to choose toggle vs hold for crouching/running in the vanilla game itself. Well, more options overall like the ones Advanced launcher provides. Once the update hits I'm assuming the configs won't even work right as they're rewriting the entire game?
  7. I'm confused on one thing, specifically for the ARMAS pricing. Overall the prices seem to have gone down, except for account lifetime bundles? Juggernaut Strike Pack was 3999 with premium, around 40 USD, 4999 without it. Now? It's 6999 without premium lol. 5,599 with. I was waiting for the armas price rework to get it since I was under the assumption that prices would be less severe. I would have just gotten it then instead. It's 50$ USD now. Not sure why the price increase, sucks. - Was informed that they had actually spoken about raising the pack prices before. Something I was unaware of. My b. Still sucks tho, oh well.
  8. I'm having the same issue, repeated disconnects, I've restarted my computer, repaired files and the works. It's not a ddos or internet issues. My ms/internet is fine. I'm able to log right back in right after I get d/c but then like clockwork I'm d/c again. It's weird because typically I can tell I'm about to get booted again due to the fact that I can see people moving around, receive whispers, I'm somehow able to still move around etc but I'm unable to send any whispers back, once that happens I have around 30 seconds to a minute before I'm d/c. I'm assuming it's a server thing and only affecting some players. I've asked some friends and they're not having any issues at all. For clarification, I don't get anything from battle eye saying the client isn't compatible, it's just the regular "wait 15 minutes your char may be district locked etc"
  9. As much as I appreciate LO efforts, an official warning about the delay would have been nice.
  10. While it is an irritating thing to go against, I don't think it anything should be made to change it. It's a viable option and part of the game for a reason. Like someone mentioned above how is it any different from just camping or putting it in a really annoying spot? They're using what the game allows to their advantage. It's a non-issue, a very enraging one at times but a non-issue nonetheless. I can understand why newer players or those who aren't very good use it as an option....though talk to me about the 255 ranks who suspiciously always seem to be BR and I'll burst a blood vessel. Though that being said, then I'm not sure why the VIP is slowed down while in a car then since the game encourages chase missions to a degree now that I think of it.
  11. Ability to add multiple items such as symbols/clothes/cars etc at a time to the marketplace instead of having to do it one by one.
