Remove the Balkan trucks from in game
Reprimand replied to Reprimand's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
They were previously removed from the districts and there were no issues as a result. -

Yes, but people are begging for that to be nerfed too. -
12/18 Version 1.32 'Mobilize'
Reprimand replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I disagree. It's an absolute laser at close range. -
I'm sorry, but these things are a shining nuisance in the game. The cash security trucks are fine. I don't mind the Balkan trucks in fight club or whatever but players in Waterfront and Financial are using them to mission block, grief players, blow up and knock over cars. Remove them from the game and the mission blocking problem practically fixes itself.

I'm back for a bit so I wanted to dump some ideas. First things first, a lot of the ARMAS Marketplace weapons need some love, they're weak compared to Meta weapons, especially legendaries and they're paid for (grinding for them isn't possible yet they perform much worse) Radical (ideas that sound stupid and may suck but I like them): Cooling jacket: Should decrease magazine size. I know that magazine pull does a similar thing, but I think that an increased fire rate should overheat a weapon and make its fire weaker. Honestly we should remove Cooling Jacket 3 and just keep 2. LTL Mod: Add an LTL mod to convert ordinary weapons to LTL. Example: Rubber Bullets: Less lethal (when used in moderation) rubber bullets are an Enforcer staple in subduing criminals deemed to important to kill. Due to barrel adjustments, weapons fire slower. Giving the ability for ordinary weapons to be LTL can fix the LTL problem by giving every weapon its own special flavour when the bullets change. I know that different classes of weapon require other types of balance, but I don't think it's unfair that most weapons that are 2 shot kill can become 2 shot stun, 3-4 shot kill become 3-4 shot stun. It's almost a like for like. With the cooling jacket change, it means that players have to be conservative with their ammo when entering into gunfights. Reasonable (ideas that won't break the bank, in my opinion): Heavy Barrel: Heavy barrel should make the weapon heavier, obviously. Slow down the movement speed on players who use it and alter the damage reduction so instead it loses range and potentially gains more recoil. Shotguns: They need some love. Make them punishing at close range and give the long range shotguns tighter spread, higher recoil and lower fire rate. There's no reason a secondary should beat out a shotgun. Even adaptive range damage could make a massive difference here. Modifications: Change red silencer mods to purple, or at least adjust the weapons they belong to so they're not too broken. Colby "Hush" for example loses out on IR3, and the silencer doesn't do much for the weapon outside of that. Turn back on the tracers. I know people have been asking for years, but we need it. Turn back on the tracers. Nerf the 45. Colby. Its range is ridiculous and obviously the recoil isn't doing enough for it. Slow down the fire rate, lower the range and bring it in line with other weapons. Buff the ACT 44 and Joker RFP. They need better range and damage. The OPGL is still a frustrating weapon. The projectiles are difficult to see and there should at least be a visual indicator of when it fires, where it lands and when it is going to explode. Buff the STAR LCR. Give it better damage and range, you could even slow down the fire rate or add more recoil to it since it is a point and click weapon. Increase health - Add 25-50% more percent to player health. Gunfights are way too short for the TTK. Stat changes: Show stat changes on weapons when you add or take away mods! It makes it much easier to know how you are changing the weapon balance. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm glad you posted this as I've just returned from a brief hiatus and things seem a little better than the last time: Here's the good: Escalation seems more balanced than the backup function, and matches tend to go on for a nice amount of time with the right players being called in to help others out. The game doesn't seem as laggy as it used to, it's running well and those who are there seem to at least be having a good time. There's a new modification, the requirements for tagger and the like have been dropped which means that I can finally put them on some of my guns. Here's the bad: I really think some of the guns need some serious alterations, especially mods and stats wise. Red silencer mod should be removed and replaced with purple, the game should really model itself around some of the best guns. There should be a marketplace for ordinary weapons because the same 5 legendaries are there and it's an ache, guns bought from ARMAS Marketplace should be traded in some way, even if it's through an NPC? Health is too low, it should be much higher for what it is. The Contacts should be revamped as the grind is still pretty much a slog, it should be a lot faster to get through contacts. We just need more updates and experimenting, you have the groundwork of what is quite clearly an amazing game, but you've got to push a little further I feel and cut the crust off the edges. There should be volunteers, or more people in game to help catch cheaters or even take action mid-match. There's some names floating around and it seems the same suspects keep getting away with nonsense. Do more minigames, or bake them into the code so players don't have to wait for a GM to come along and do it. The world feels barren otherwise. Just my two cents. EDIT: Also the page for the Armas Marketplace needs adjusting, there's pages missing for weapons you can still buy and weapon clones aren't really organised as they should be.

star 556 lcr old glory worth it
Reprimand replied to Reprimand's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
no as in? is the pr2 worth it? -
I want to get my hands on an LCR, but with the preset mods I'm a little curious as to whether it's worth it or not. Is Star 556 LCR better with improved fire rate or would improved rifling be nicer? Are there any 556 LCRs out there with empty slots, please?

Hello all, I've been trying to get my hands on a New Glory for a while. If you're selling one, please let me know some offers so I can grind for it. EU Based.

What flag does LO consider political?
Reprimand replied to Pista's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
"A lot of black people (that I just made up) liked the Dukes of Hazzard so the Confederate Flag doesn't matter anymore," Is historical revisionism. Nice touch on the use of the word "woke". Pro-tip, if you're criticising something about black people, calling the people who dislike it "the woke" is probably a good way to unmask yourself. -

Every argument of yours is a false equivalence. There are also white people in the A-Team and it isn't a political slogan or symbol rooted in hate, it's a fictional TV show. Inb4 "so is The Dukes of Hazzard" but the confederate symbol has long existed before it and holds a completely different meaning. Your long form whining isn't going to change anything. So you're either wilfully stupid or too ignorant to know any better. Another false equivalence. By that logic the A-Team shouldn't be allowed either because the letter A can represent any historical atrocity. Maybe instead of making absurd arguments and trying to grasp at straws you could just stop talking? -

I knew you'd made some stupid fucking remark. Where is the comparison between agreeing to follow the rules and whatever the hell you just said? You're not obligated to be here. This is not as complicated as you're making it. Anything that you own is bound by a contract. That doesn't make what I am saying licking the boot. Like I said, If you don't want to follow the rules you AGREED to when you signed then just leave. What you are describing here and what is actually happening is not a digital extreme. You don't HAVE to put a confederate flag or any symbol for that matter on your in game character or clothing to play this game. Many people do not. That has nothing to do with tricking players or taking things by deception. You're not following your own logic here. -

This entire thread: "Can I do X?" "No, it's against the rules." "WHAT ABOUT Y AND Z THIS ISN'T FAIR REEEEEEEEE" -

Brain dead fucking take. You're playing on a privately owned game with established rules and guidelines. If they say you can't do something, you just don't do it. They aren't going to make a list for your personal convenience because they don't owe you a thing. Accept the answer you've been given and stop trying to appeal to vagueness and pretend that there must be something unclear or hypocritical about what they're doing. What about XYZ? What about such and such? What about it lmfao The confederate flag isn't allowed and it isn't necessary to play here, so if you don't like it, make your own game or go elsewhere. Also comparing a fear of cars to an established historical atrocity? Come the hell on dude, think clearly. Cringe. Lots of symbols are banned from the game, there was a player who made a German uniform from WW2 and got his patootie handed to him then threw a tantrum like you are expecting the world to bend in his favour. Again, not anyone's problem. This isn't cancel culture, are you kidding? You're not being deplatformed, you're being asked not to use a symbol on SOMEONE ELSE'S GAME. What don't you get about the EULA you agreed to before playing? -
All you ever do is complain about the game, the mechanics, the staff, the updates and everything about this game. Why are you even here if you hate it so much?
-
What do they mean by "little secret"?
-
Support never tell you the outcome of the players you report. That person in question had a long history of being toxic and confrontational and if you see are now permabanned for telling a user to *self harm*.

ARMAS has weapons for sale where two slots weapons are the same price as three slots. Since they are reskins would it not be better to put them under the list of skins in weapons?
-
How do I invest anything?
-
I think they need to adjust the crosshairs to make it clearer when you're on or off target.
-
It's too expensive to acquire legendaries or even good quality weapons. Put all weapons in the JT Store or weaker variants in contacts. There's no reason why reskins don't belong in the contact store. Joker CR5, Vas, LCR, FAR. All of these weapons could be in contact store without slots and it would make perfect sense. It at least incentivises a player to spend their cash on new weapons until they can afford a permanent one and bulks out the neverending grind. The price of things in ARMAS is pretty high too, some things with two slots cost exactly the same as three slots. Maybe a new premium package is in order?

The FAR is amazing when tap fired. You can also full auto at close range, but it doesn't solve all of your problems, you still need to hit your opponent and watch your bloom. The STAR is amazing at close to medium range. You can tap fire at longer distances but it has weaker damage, and up close you can full auto in marksmanship mode to get a consistent kill provided you follow your target well. However, this is where it starts and stops. When you put mods on a STAR, it becomes ineffective. IR3 makes it bloom to high heaven. HS3 makes it so you have to crouch fire to win battles. I think a revamp where level 1 and 2 mods make a comeback would be welcome.

[PC] 05/17 Maintenance Announcement (Build #1385)
Reprimand replied to Ritual's topic in General Discussion Archive
You're not taking on an NTEC at 40m. You're not taking on a Whisper at 20m You're not taking on a Colby at 10m. Youre not taking on a NHVR at 60m. The second you strafe while aiming, you get full bloom. The second you fire more than two bullets at once, you get full bloom. Your recoil knocks your aim off kilter and the fire rate is too slow to manage. The ALIG is a vehicle killer. There's a reason the SHAW was the hacker favourite for quite some time. It blew up vehicles but it definitely knew how to handle pedestrians. Buff the strafe modifier, decrease the recoil and make it tap fire friendly. It doesn't have to be a magical weapon. Just make it useful at medium to long range and absolutely useless up close, like most of its contemporaries. Also, the Medusa is an amazing weapon. You're a sitting duck but at least the weapon has enough damage output for it not to matter.
