    Hello everyone,

     

    A new patch is going up onto the Live servers for PC. This patch will be happening on Wednesday 1/13/2021. The patch is scheduled to start at 9 AM UTC and will last up to 8 hours. Console will have its normal maintenance starting at 9 AM UTC as well.

     

    OVERVIEW

    This update brings our holiday event for the year to a close.

     

    PC CHANGES/FIXES

    • 12 Deaths of Xmas minigame disabled
    • Christmas Cheer minigame disabled
    • Dev Gun Game (with wintery twist) disabled

     

    CONSOLE CHANGES/FIXES

    • Console Xmas events disabled

    We have our usual server maintenance this week on Wednesday 12/30/2020. The maintenance is scheduled to start at 6 PM UTC and will last up to 10 hours. Console will have its normal maintenance starting at 6 PM UTC as well. Our window will be a bit longer than usual this week while our provider takes care of some essential background upkeep at this time. Thank you for your understanding and happy holidays!

    This was before my time, but this topic has come up a few times so I decided to chase down some details for you and lay all the various theories to rest. Essentially, it was a one year deal that expired, which is why the APB cases are not being sold anymore. We didn't see enough units moving to renew. That's the long and short of it, though I think they were pretty snazzy myself.

    Hey everyone,

     

    I hope you are having a great holiday season. Whether you are together with your loved ones in person or in spirit, we all need some time to rewind and recharge. Speaking of, we are continuing free premium for everyone through the end of January. As you celebrate, please take all the necessary precautions. Stay safe, practice social distancing, and use a mask in crowded areas or if you need to venture out doors.

     

    We continue to get support tickets regarding this free grant. Before you submit a ticket, please read the following:

     

    • For those of you who didn't have premium already - yay! You should be all set.
    • For those of you who had premium before, there is currently a display issue where it looks like your premium is counting down. Please don't worry! We are aware of the issue, and there is no need for you to submit a support ticket. Your premium will be automatically extended for the length of the free premium period. You are not losing any time or missing out. 
    • If you have a reoccurring subscription and find yourself needing to tighten your belts as we remain on lock down, we understand. You will need to end your subscription manually. As above, you will get the automatic premium extension equal to the duration of this event and you will not lose any of your paid time.

     

    We hope this answers any questions you might have.

    This update brings a little winter cheer to the streets of San Paro. Play various minigames to unlock all-new titles and Joker Tickets so you can sleigh it at the Joker Store. Full details can be found here on our website.

    • A snow-filled Beacon returns!
    • 12 Deaths of Xmas minigame enabled
    • Christmas Cheer minigame enabled
    • Dev Gun Game enabled (with a wintery twist)
    • New roles and associated rewards added
    • Holiday items return to ARMAS

    Hey everyone,

     

    Our next Open Beta test starts this weekend! It will start on a stress test the 20th and then open fully from the 21st until our normal Wednesday maintenance. We hope you can join us! There are a ton of fixes for issues you helped us find in the last few tests. You can find those details here. Please note, you will be unable to download the Beta client during the emergency maintenance this morning.
