  1. Hey everyone,

It has come to our attention that some players are having difficulties submitting tickets to Support. To make things easier for anyone who isn’t familiar with the process already, we decided to put together a short guide for your convenience. We will begin with the steps to submit a ticket to our Support system and then close on an FAQ with common issues.

    Step 1 – Go to https://support.gamersfirst.com/

Step 2 – Log in to your account.

Step 3 – Select which game you are contacting support for:

Step 4 – Use the drop-down menus to select the game, what platform you use, and what issue you are experiencing.

    image.png.94ac3d6f9055fa7b2724d198dc5fba1d.png

Step 5 – Fill out as much information regarding your account and issue you are contacting Support for. It is important to be thorough during this step as many support actions require that we first verify ownership of the account in question. In these cases, our staff may reach out for additional information as necessary. Please keep an eye on your ticket as a timely response to staff requests will help ensure a quick resolution.

    image.png.4c3fe48a22c6d01d936f3439dde8485a.png

Step 6 – Add files if necessary, prior to clicking the “Submit” button.

    image.png.dfc33a182dbfc4cc65176014a3083c86.png

Finally, please submit only a single ticket per issue. Submitting or creating multiple tickets will only reduce our response time and do little to speed up resolving your issue. If you need to make an update, please respond to your original ticket instead of creating a new one.

    FAQ

I can’t access my account so I can’t log into the support portal. What should I do?

If you are unable to log in to the Support site for any reason, you can also contact our team via email. Send your issue and all supporting info to support@gamersfirst.com and our staff will get you sorted.

I am confused about what information I should include when submitting a ticket.

Here are a few common mistakes players make:

    • When we ask for the account’s birthday, we are referring to the birthday that was listed at the time of the account’s creation (your birthday). This does not refer to the date that the account was created.
    • If you are reporting a player, please include their player name
    • Include Transaction IDs whenever possible
    • When submitting an IP address, please use IPv4 and not IPv6

I reported someone I suspect of cheating and they are still in game. What gives?

We take any accusation of cheating quite seriously. That said, it can take some time for our team to conduct a thorough investigation and verify the infraction. The best thing you can do as a player is submit any evidence you have to our team. If you discover additional information, please attach this to your existing ticket instead of opening a new one.

What kind of evidence is best?

When submitting video evidence, small clips don’t always provide proper context. Please make sure your clip is at least 10 seconds or longer.

I want to know the result of any accusations made against X player.

We take player privacy seriously. While player submitted reports are incredibly helpful for our investigations, we will not discuss the outcome of those investigations with any 3rd party. Thank you for your understanding.

Do Volunteer GM's have access to personal account information?

They do not. We treat personal information with a great deal of care. While GMs have some in-game tools at their disposal, only our trained CS staff have that kind of access.

when you have an entire district telling a GM to go look at said person and the GM doesnt do it

While our GMs work incredibly hard to provide a better experience for you all in game, they are not responsible for tracking potential cheaters. This is the responsibility of our CS team, who needs to confirm that an instance of cheating has indeed occurred. Harassing a GM to investigate a player will not get you the result you want. Submitting a report or a ticket with evidence of the infraction, however, is incredibly helpful.

    2. Yesterday. Rank like 180, super obvious cheater, whole district say he cheats, and GM appears in district, and what he do? HE SAYS DONT NAME AND SHAME. We tell him ,dude you have obvious cheater, just check him (guy who snaps, allways pttk, walling as crazy). I did report on same guy when he was like r30! Week ago! ...and they dare to say to you USE REPORT.

So they prefer to listen to group of cheaters defending each other how there is no cheats in this game instead of restoring FF and use it as it was. It was only antycheat that these guys were afraid of. Bring back name and shame. It was not toxic. Toxic are people who defend cheaters. Now you are bringing only new cheaters to this game. Legits are leaving.

I would like to remind everyone that naming and shaming is not only against the terms of the forums and TOS, it is unproductive. The absolute best thing you can do is submit a report to our CS team. I know that many here feel this isn't sufficient, but I have personally been involved in several investigations that were made possible through player reports. Naming and shaming, on the other hand, only serves to set our community against each other.

Please listen to the GMs when they encourage you to send a report. Do not name and shame (or advocate for that here on the forums). You put your own privileges at risk by doing so.

  7. Hey everyone - I apologize for the inconvenience, but we will need to amend our previously stated maintenance window. We previously announced that maintenance would take place at 9 AM UTC and will last up to 10 hours. Our provider's availability has changed, so we will need to shift that window to start at 3 PM UTC on 2/10 instead. The good news is that we are now expecting only 6 hours downtime. Thank you for your understanding! We will update the OP accordingly.

    Also, to answer your question:

It's a lovely event, despite being an old one, but why 10 hours again.

Occasionally, when we do a patch or maintenance, we also have some work to do on the background infrastructure of the game. Downtime in those cases can take longer than average. We hope to return to our usual length and time in the near future.

  8. Hey everyone,

It has come to our attention that some individuals have been giving out config files with integrated key logging in an attempt to compromise player accounts. When using config files, please make sure they come from a source you trust and that all modifications are in accordance with our TOS. You are ultimately responsible for the safety and integrity of your account when making any modifications to APB game files. To help with this endeavor, in addition to the approved advanced launcher, we will be putting together an official list of configs for the community to use. It is our hope that this will provide a safe and useful resource for those wishing to optimize their current APB experience.

  13. Hey everyone,

We know there has been some confusion surrounding the Free Premium grant. Here are the latest details to clear things up. As Matt discussed in our roadmap for the year, we are disabling Premium purchases while our free grant is ongoing. There was a slight delay in the rollover at the end of this month, but we are continuing Free Premium into February. That should be active at the time of this post. If for some reason you do not have Premium on your account, please let us know so we can investigate.

Normal maintenance but last up to 10 hours???

We are migrating a few things in the back end, so it is a little longer this week. You may notice that our normal maintenance window will change slightly depending on our needs. Usually we go between 4-6 hours, but occasionally that will stretch if our engineers need the extra time, as is the case this week.
