  1. Hey everyone,

    Happy APB Anniversary! We are focusing 100% of our efforts on the engine upgrade this year, so things will be a little quieter than they have been in the past. If you haven't seen already, we have a new specialist coming in to help Matt power through the engine upgrade. We also just renewed our free premium grant to all players. We know you are all itching for new content, so if we haven't said it lately, we want to take the opportunity today to say that we really appreciate your continued patience and support as we work to get the game back on track. Progress has gone slower than we all hoped in the past, but we remain enthusiastic about next steps as we get the engine upgrade where it needs to be.

     

    While the bulk of our efforts remain on the engine upgrade, we have been listening to the community in the meantime. There are a few balance changes for APB that we are working on releasing in the next few weeks to thank those who continue to log in and enjoy our game. Specifically, we are looking at Med Spray, Grenade spam, and some minor weapon balancing. These changes take time to test, and we don't want to take anything away from critical engine upgrade work, but this is something we hope to deliver in the next few weeks.

  2. Hey everyone,

     

    I just wanted to pop in here with a quick PSA. We just learned that our provider is doing some unscheduled maintenance on the LA servers. Those trying to connect to those servers may experience loss of connection or difficulty logging in until they are done. We hope to resume our regular service shortly. The current estimate is 6PM UTC, or 1.5 hours from the time of this post.

    As before, we appreciate you making this thread and making sure we know of the issue. We have it in our list to fix, but unfortunately the scope is such that any fix would have to occur after the engine upgrade is complete. You can follow Matt's posts on our progress here.

    Our server provider has been experiencing intermittent outages over the past couple weeks as they upgrade their network. This may affect your ability to connect to our game. We are in contact with them now, and we are looking into our best options for resolving the issue. Thank you for your understanding.
