  1. It's quite sad that logically they had to start with starter towns, and go north from there, since, with server working, there will be new chars anyway. Would've been easier with some other world parts I think. Then again, they have to go thru Overlook Ridge and Westreach areas to open this world, at least, which is not that much, despite problems they had with Boneclaw. So, as long as they go thru current armor and weps stock, mounts prolly too...that be it. Some technicalities aside, would be nuff for starters.

Well, "certain things done" is a matter of time in general, and not seasonal, hence the chance of us seeing some "2021 New Year Update" or something, depends if the team was lucky nuff to finish all the rest, like other projects, and hassle with this one, without any hiccups, like lvls geo or reflections(if my memory serves me right) goin left and right. Then again, most teams would be goin, or already have, on winter holidays for some time, specially in the eu/western world. Hence, lets hope for the best I guess, its such a time of a year after all)
  3. It really is funny, that a bunch of trolls refuse to leave a forum of, and I quote them, "dead game". Yet, they yell there's a better project, "which shall not be named". And, uh, I don't think 4-5 years is FE's deadline, told ya. Aiming a little bit too high I think. 2 years is viable "3 stage plan" nowadays)

Considering, that someone spend their irl money to buy all this projects from prev team, ur "proposal", so to speak, to "release it" as is, for free, equals throwing a bunch of hard earned cash into a shitter) That's one. Two, Matt, as a company's big hat, has a say in this. If he says that its better and/or faster/cheaper to divert resources to other projects first, considering that FE wasnt the only game bought, even if whoever bought it, considered it their №1 priority over other games, bein the head of a company (cept investor), my bet he's more than responsible for his own actions on that post. Three. Welp, as u might have guessed, FE was in way worse shape than other projects, which kind of was a crucial factor. APB was almost done back in what, around 2010 I think, when crisis hit, and lotsa companies lost it. Was sold to other team, which didnt finish it properly (game was at 80-90% at a time), instead, turned it into ftp marketplace piece, though originally, it meant to be coop/mp game, like ur avg CS competitor. FE wasnt build on UE, it was indie team with their own engine, project began in what, '06-07 I think, which is alot of years for any project, and engine. UE got a team, that made market for it, and still continues to support it and upgrade it, pretty big team, btw, and they're loaded. FE team went down. Sold the project to another company, which neglected it, implementing same marketplace scenario on it, then sold it. Currently, its handled by, pretty much, another indie team, gathered around by someone's investments. So, yeah, it's kind of a helluva job to re-create this game pretty much "from scratch". Ofc it takes time. 10 years ago, project of such scale would req team of 100-250 heads, to complete it in two years (from point zero, no prev material, arts, etc), give or take. Since money is there, and they aint goin anywhere else, team is working on projects as fast as they can, to begin work on FE at full capacity, instead of yelling, praise them (and investor ofc). They doin all they can, and all u do, is yelling and suggesting pretty "awkward" stuff. Now. If, we presume that at least two years req, and, we know that 1 is already scratched out, do the math. Nobody said it be done overnight, that's for another guy, ask Him, be my guest.
  5. Welp, gotta add that its soon to be a whole year since servers gone offline, any chance u guys can throw us a bone of new update(even if its goin to be minimal) at least? That be very appreciated by all of us, and u got a whole day to prepare for it)
  6. Oh my, I just responded to this with some opinion and tips, and almost started some holywar shitstorm, some of u guys most def almost make me feel like I am the troll in this one. We discussed new update, and where did it ends up once again, what a coincidence... Anyway, what I actually meant, not what some of u make it look like, is that this is not some br, or cs(quake/ut/tribes if we're goin for other old names) kind of a game, its an mmo with some pve/rp lore, and not some competitive pvp shooter, though yeah, most mmo's got such content in them, just like here, as a side dish. And, uh, yeah, I got it. Some strive for this exp here and everywhere, and yet, there is pve community here too, they had theirs. The one and only pvp is in irl anywho, games r just some weak resemblance) So, even if this hitbox problem got solved (since, it does have some correlation with pve content in this game, cz some or even most of the mobs and, obvi, even bosses have pretty tricky edges literally, and hitting them where u actually meant to, might lead to a miss, as in, even mobs here have hitboxes that doesnt fit their model(s) properly, this was a topic for a long time), I believe there's bigger concerns at top-10 list here, though I got some lesser concern in mind rn. Think of it...there's a 25 day limit to a clan leadership system. And serv was off for way more then that. If it isn't turned off, when they launch the serv again, there's a very big chance some players may lose not only their clan, but their shit in its vault, that they put in there, in the first place. Plus, you know, its a name thing too. U can create another one, but the name is taken, innit?) I do get it, that there's workarounds, but my point bein is that this system is pretty useless in the very first place. Cz, the only upside it gives, is that u can steal shit from the clan vault. And clan name on top of it. Since, u can take all alive players to another clan, new one. It's one of the problems too, and...it became a pressing one, since serv is off atm. It's like...still having pvp zones, though u can flag everywhere. Which leads to only one result - pve players ganked in there under current mechanics(deleted books, no mat piles, certain mats in pvp zones only, that one's a topic for quite some time too), builds difference not giving em any chance if u will(even if it's just my imo), they're just some meat. Call it whatever u like, but naming it as is, thats griefing. If they'd wanted it, they'd flag. And, imo, that was a downfall for this project. Like for a few dozens of other ones. Pvp community throws in cash, bidding on solutions made by team, pve community leaves, no meat, pvp players leave, project dead. It happens all around the net, a bunch of games died like that, that's a fact. Just google it. Some of u might had a chance to witness this with your own eyes prolly, aside from here even. Ftp game like this lives off marketplace, and on this one I strongly believe, at least 90-95% of all marketplace stuff is pve oriented, strictly. This project wont earn any bills with pve community running outta here cz of griefers, end of story. Welp, just pointing it out, cz, it might be, there is a part of community here that holds it higher than this hitbox problem. Or zip guns in other thread. Or current skills system...and so on. Opinions, right? Was it a pve player opinion? Hell yeah it was) Doesn't make it a lie, or less truthful though. P.S. - I never wanted it to be such a long story, sry guys)))

I feel like throwing in another stone, so lets just slow down and recall that this game doesnt revolve around pvp for starters) Whichever way that problem will be solved, it's far from being one of the big ones this game have. And, on the other note, I forgot to throw in another solution, cz u can use sports team color code system, and instead use it to make hitbox both same size for everyone and visible thru everything, armor or body, this way there's no way to cover it. I, personally, wouldnt care which solution fits better, or feels less cheaty to some. Then again, if same body size buff looks as a "clunky" solution (poof - and ur bigger/smaller), u can always force respawn char in nearest pod (don't forget, that this could be potentially exploited to ft anywhere from under fire, so to speak. needs some...conditions, like not bein attacked at a moment by any creature, as usual) to make the transition seamless.
  8. On second thought, if my memory serves me right, there's actually a quest item in deadfall that changes ur look to one of the shiva's. Hence, I think the idea is more then viable, and u can simply copy and tweak that script.
  9. Visually the Division example above sucks, imo. As long as there are more then one human anywhere, there's gonna be opinions though. Some "phantastic" ideas from the near future? Welp, u can try something outta this place. Whenever character in a pvp zone/sports or flagged, u can "buff" him/her with medium body size/height, for everyone) Not sure how the visuals react to that though, and on which stage body params load. If game engine can just render this any given moment without goin to char screen, then its fine.
  10. With new system of choosing armor elem, same can be implemented to zips, so that u could simply switch between two skins to ur liking. Why making things harder than they shud be?)
  11. This is all blown out of proportions I think. Lotsa changes then where's a way simpler way out. All stats and some skills to become auto-filled like alpha while lvling, thus for ur 1960 u can choose any 10 full stats u want, and nupes stop asking questions why they do 1dmg with their new toy. For ex., skills like all weps, social, maybe even prime stuff like au or dodge/prec/power. Social ofc holds some skills in it, still a rare choice for most I'd say, and since there is still a few old quests that req that, and the fact that it gives a disc at vendors, paired with all 4 weps and maybe some extra skills u get better base, and easier understanding of game for nupes I believe. Once again, weps r important, cz this way every build can use any wep of choice, its more casual yes, but isn't that better?) Why au/prec/etc.? Well, since pve/pvp build differs alot, and crafter can't stand a chance properly, such meta would equalize players way more. Big change? Maybe. But it's better, and any change like that would mean for all of u to test new builds anywho. Then again as someone said more then once, all muta shud get a +38/44 buff, since there's no skills on such low lvls anyway, and it would save alot of ap for a build. As to some skills that may have blanks like that, dunno, maybe same.
  12. Welp, considering that due to all our requests, priority is to launch the project again first of all, ofc. And, since it was a fall for few teams in the past, trying to add more content BEFORE releasing, the model is like that nowadays. First - release it, then - add more stuff. So...yeah, mixed sets of gloves/shoulders/boots and so on is a thing obvi, and that "jacket" example shows how.
  13. Long story short, why don't we turn this into some good (while ignoring trolls anywho), and just post our opinion on two weeks micro updates instead of one raw dump. I believe ur voice counts here, so...I'd be glad if anyone on the team finds 1 hour each two weeks to get out of the loop and post us some new shots)

On the other hand I'm personally pretty fascinated by another fact: Every time a new thread is started, someone goes with "delete all items" or whatever, despite the official reply "nothing will be deleted", and then a bunch of pps began to talk about wipe or something, like its some "thing", even though there's no "thing". Now that's weird) Obvi, my point bein, is that I'm seeing a bunch talking about some non-existing illusions like some chatbots, despite the fact that forum is a place to share opinions, and I'm talking about a bunch of pixels on a screen) Seems to me like a work of some lightbright or All-Mind)

  17. Four Leaf Cloner is not working, yes, due to skill bein deleted from dodge. Mind Trick Gold Medalist Behind You! Not Just A River In Egypt Take Their Breath Away Stay Away From My Gas Tank Steamroller all works fine. Last lvl of No Pain No Gain is glitched, sort of. Count stops for that skill, cause no achieve for some reason at all) Not in the game ach window anyway, it is in Steam stat just fine. Reputation part: they all work fine, just no quests for 55 lvl to complete it, so idk if there's a point to actually del this, instead of fixin shit. Riders - last rep quest in Repository, capped at 45 lvl, after that not availible. Working fine though. Mine stuck at 75k+ after Alpha. Shiva - quest capped at 30k rep, hence the achieve is fckd, unless u farm 10k of shivas in DF, considering u got a 3month prem buff for +2 per kill, instead of +1. Raisin cap solves the problem, no? Either lower it for achieve to 30, simpler even. Bankers - biggest one yet. The only working for 55 lvl char quest is in Oasis, and req to farm local monsters for rare items, that drops shitty, and u can't buy em anywhere. Already told ya. Kind Of A "Bas-ta-rd" Catch Me If You Can You're The Man Now and Clone M.D. on top that r not working, yes. Better fixin though. Northern Exposure works fine, its just Monkey Business unobtainible. Del it from it, and it will be ok. Last Down to a Science, yeah...well, u can always change items in the list. Survival of the Well-Stocked, 3 lvls of it, unobtainible, even though u just have to place camps for it. Not working. On top of that its hidden, and visible only in global stat.

Meh, i've been following diff games news and announcements, just projects im interested into, and one mmo a year or so ago, had an official *14 days* transfer period, before some new patch/addon release. And guess what. Shit happened, and they took 3 extra days at least in the end to fix that bs, if my memory serves me well. This couple of days is still nothing compared to that, so who cares. Migration is a process, when same kind of bs always happens, and take 2-3 days of your life. Be grateful to Allfather, u r not the one to clean that crap)

I didnt tried to open my boxes from First Night yet, so i cannot be sure if its possible, or not, to have all the hats from them, but...since im not gonna do it on multiple chars (if i had any at the first place, cept storage toons), and if the drop chance is bs actually, did it ever occured to u, that its better to change the quests, by giving boxes in reward for doin it more then once? If ur concern, for whatever the reason, is AH or anything else at all, just make em attuned to the char, the very moment u get it out of the box (or non-tradable simply), and thats it. Its not a suggestions part of forum, but, its faster this way i guess.
