Can you send this to LO?

Might keep me from getting kicked out of SPCT for being to critical.

Being childish and disgusting, is different from being critical.

The fact that you don't know the difference, shows the fact that you were never taught otherwise.

Matt was very clear about this, and you are simply incorrect.

Well then maybe you don't need the bragging rights.

Regardless, a decent human being doesn't act in the way that you do. Your lack of consideration for others, and outright attempts of bullying on Little Orbits behalf still makes you a shill for them.

Thank you for answering my question, sorry I didn't reply sooner.

Implying delusion gains you no merit, considering that I am sure half of what you type is ignored anyways.

Please try to remember SPCT are not embassadors for APB or Little Orbit.

We are just players who volunteered to work for free testing the game. We have no power, and no authority.

Though if you think I'm going to shill for LO, I don't even know what to say to you lol.

So you volunteered your time to Little Orbit, and consigned to becoming an unpaid employee for them. Though the thing is, in that regard you have actually become an ambassador for the community and Little Orbit. If there was nothing special about you, then you wouldn't be holding a special badge under your name.

With how your acting, you've already indirectly started being a shill for them.

As I do not understand what you typed, I had to resort to a google translator.

I am assuming you're sending me a supportive message, and it is appreciated.

I understand the forums at times can be the worst place to post things. But I have seen it become effective in the past with communicating to the teams involved with this game.

and straight up up lying to the community

    good faith indeed

orbit has been pretty upfront about server issues as well

if that’s the only information that you consider meaningful then i suppose i can see how you think orbit is no different from g1

what else is there for me to do? your assertion is that orbit is following the same path as g1 when it’s clear (to me at least) that they aren’t, and seem to be intentionally trying not to

There were times, where he job as a CM required her to be less than honest. That's something that should be remembered always.

However with some of the legit players, that was also due to how they simply treated her. Beyond her tough facade that she brought to the forums, she wasn't without giving someone due respect or the chance to show respect. If she banned some players who were legitimate, it's because they were crude in their delivery and likely offended her. I'm not her biggest supporting, please don't assume such.

I appreciate that you're championing on behalf of LO, but it's LO's job to uphold their own reputation as they make bold claims to bringing on change to a game that was in desperate need . As it stands, the game is still in desperate need of attention.

Game would have equally declined as much under G1 if people werent so blind to see that things werent changing. When a new company comes in they expect things to change at the snap of some fingers and bam game fixed, but thats not how it works. So people see that things arent changing the way and like and complain or leave.
Nothing new is happening here because of LO. Game may have been offline by now if G1 was in charge.

SPCT - San Paro City TESTER.

    Not role model.
    Not community cheer leader
    Not moral support
    Not Helper

Being a Tester has 0 to do with their personality as player with above average involvement in the game.

    It's a privilege.

And if you abuse others while in a position of privilege, that privilege should be removed.

Also, I didn't expect things to be done at the snap of my fingers. I just expect positive results regarding issues that have plagued this game prior to it being purchased.

context is key, everything before and after “there’s no insidious plan to kill the game” was directly about little orbit and their business practices

what does this have to do with my comparison of g1 communication vs little orbit communication?

you’re correct that as a CM tiggs should have done more than simply announce sales

my point was that mattscott has been just as present (if not more) as tiggs, except with actual meaningful information

seeing as i’ve pointed out nothing but common sense, at least in my opinion, i’m not sure what you’re getting at tbh

my contributions thus far have been:

-little orbit is aware of the numerous issues that affect apb

-little orbit is working to resolve many of those issues

-little orbit wants apb to be a profitable ip

-little orbit is doing better than g1 in most aspects

Tiggs actually did do some things differently than the current CM, or any other GM. She'd often abide by most rules of conduct which shackled her. But there have been times where she would directly ban a cheater publicly to show good faith to the community. She also was quick to acknowledge when the servers were unstable, and apologized for such.

The only meaningful information delivered thus far, has been how they are developing the EU. Which has be revealed in the past by others, over and over again. With where Tiggs failed however, others would do better to see those flaws and excel in mending.

The only thing you're doing is repeating what they've already said, and what I am aware of. Though what I am pointing out is that Little Orbit is falling down the same rabbit hole faster than G1 did when it came to the issues of this game.

I know it's a 'small gesture' that can be delivered at any time, I alluded to that in the very post you've quoted when I said it won't take any dev time and has no downside for the community. Yet you're going to the trouble of complaining about it taking precedence over the EU and core fixes anyway? Seems a very minor thing to get caught up on.

At least that's what it looks like when you 100% agree with someone who says he won't play the game at all until the EU is done and asks LO not to focus on things we don't want in the thread about the event.

So again, should they just stop doing anything at all until the EU is done?

The EU is not what I am highlighting in my concerns. That I believe you are confusing with my concern that no one is even bothering to log into Jericho due to the fact that the game is lagging and unstable to the point where the population of that server is refusing to play.

Just go back into your dark hole. Nobody cares that you cry nonstop. At least LO is trying but you just want stuff now now now!! Like a kid that doesn't get what he wants to he screams and shouts and cries in the middle of a store.

What are you actually mad about?

Nowadays having a positive attitude will get you an angry rant and accused directly of 'hurting the game' for "not calling them out"/"holding them responsible". This community is wild. People need to stop acting like entitled, whiny children

Nothing wrong with having a positive attitude. It should be encouraged to be both positive about a games future and to have a willingness to inform change where you can.

Coming from you and your lack of professionalism as a SPCT. I don't trust much that you provide on here.

Okay , so we're back to "don't do anything until the EU is done!", are we? How long will that fly before people swing the other way and come out with "well EU is going to be useless without content".

This isn't like RIOT which required serious developer time to implement. The Devlar code already exists and there is basically no downside for the community on this one, but no, all we can do is whine about it.

And I wouldn't mind, except when we get news on the EU progress, there's even more bitching cos it doesn't look like RTW.

What is announced is content that can be delivered at any point of this games existence.

This is not permanent content.  Just a small gesture to appeal to vanity.

are you implying little orbit is ddosing their own services?

even if all 500 people still playing bout $100 of joker boxes it still wouldn’t even be enough to pay a single dev

giving people back accounts that already own everything they wanted to buy doesn’t seem like the best way to garner sales either

i feel there’s a big difference between a CM announcing sales and a CEO posting updates and answering questions from the community at all hours

You didn't specify who had the insidious plans. You simple said that "No one had insidious plans to kill the game". Which is not factual, otherwise there wouldn't be hackers creating unstable servers.

The CM takes orders from the CEO. With how small the LO team seems to be, I wouldn't doubt if there's a direct line of communication between the two. Besides simply announcing things, it's a representatives job to stay aware of the frustrations in the community.

You simply highlighted the flaws I am trying to point out in a simpler way, thank you for that assistance.

Yeah, nope. I bought a freaking beast of a computer with an i7 9700k and rtx2070 and a ton of ram. Still unplayable. I set foot in this game the instant you guys bring the engine upgrade to live servers.

I already own almost everything you offer on Armas anyway, so, no small candy will do any good. It's been how many years I forgot since I started investing into this game; time and money. I don't care who owns the game at this point, I just need the promises delivered, instead of focusing on things that we don't need and we don't want. jmtc.

    ^ 100% this.

Let's make sure not to stay on the topic.

    Thank you.

The games current condition is relevant to the success of the event proposed by you and your fellow staff.

As a customer who has invested money in the past, and as someone who works regularly with customers. I am simply providing my own insights, as a responsible individual should. I am not trying to cause a rebellion, but just wish to see certain things take priority.

Unless this is a ploy to generate a list of people who are cheating, it's not the best time to implement such an event. If I am right, and it is. I praise the tactic in combating the current problem this game faces, and I do so with a cackle.

why would they ignore a problem that’s costing them money literally every single day?

your perception of how orbit operates seems off, they’re a business that’s attempting to turn apb into a profitable venture - there’s no insidious plan to kill the game, they gain nothing by intentionally angering the playerbase, and the CM isn’t missing out on coding the engine upgrade when she hosts events

the company is actively working on the means to fix many of the problems and they’ve been pretty vocal about how they’re doing so, people spamming “hurry up” isn’t going to change much

People DDOSing the servers until the game is unplayable is fairly insidious.

In addition I agree that they are trying to make a profit. Which is why they released additional joker boxes, and unbanned accounts.

My view is to remain critical of how they conduct themselves, which is coming across no different than the prior ownership thus far. LadyTiggs often remained vocal, and that was a bandage on a perpetually leaking wound.

I for one think this is a great idea. Glad to see some in-game events 🙂

Devs: "Here fun event and free stuff - join if you like"

    Forum: "Fuck you!" 😄

No one said it was a terrible idea, and no one said "Fuck you".

We want to see solutions first before a good idea like this is implemented into the game. Essentially preventing it from becoming a foolish choice on their part.

i’m unsure how anyone thinks orbit is somehow unaware of the problems with the game, they’re here to make money and they very clearly aren’t making money - that’s a pretty big red flag for any business

I don't think that they are unaware. I think they're very aware, and ignoring the problem with throwing out events that will yield poor results.

  20. 1 minute ago, Glaciers said:

well this thread is already aging badly lmao

Agreed. But that's because the current status of the game is:

    1.  Unplayable with the stability issues.

    2. Plagued with a declining population.

    3. Being treated by its new ownership without the seriousness it requires.

Though this would be a fun event. It's not going to really be effective unless changes are applied to its problems, and the community are shown signs of efficient use of time by its developers. Otherwise this is just reward to players who are complicit in furthering the deconstruction of a game that many other customers would love to see flourish into its full potential.

these 'open letter' threads are really just

'because u ignore my messages im putting it public so everyone knows my opinion' threads

That's the responsibility to the customer to reach the ears of those ignoring them in any means necessary. To put change towards a problem that is currently adding to the degradation of this game.

Perhaps you're complicit in being part of the problem. But some people aren't.
