Thaumaturge 83 Posted February 25, 2019 If you use a consumable ammobox to change your orange mod, as an example, field supplier to spotter, you do not have a cooldown as opposed to if you changed it with your own ammobox, it would change with a cooldown. How it should work: Use ammobox Change orange mod Be put on normal cooldown. How it currently works: Use consumable ammobox Change orange mod Immediately usable provided you didn't just use its cooldown. As an example, you can drop your yellow ammobox, change from orange field supplier to spotter, and instantly be able to spot people. Noob_Guardian 417 Posted February 25, 2019 It's not a glitch/bug exploit, this is because using the ammo box, is using the modification, and causing a general "orange mod" cooldown on use. A consumable ammo box, functions similar to using a friends ammobox/joker ammo/mail zone, as you do not use the orange mod to access it so also have no cooldown. However consumables have their own timer I believe as well, albeit lower. Now lets say you used spotter, used the consumable to switch to ammo box for example, now you have a cooldown for the orange mod. Why? Because you used an orange mod before switching. Roxl 120 Posted February 26, 2019 I'm unsure of what the "bug/exploit" is here. Yellow (Consumable) mods have a completely separate cooldown timer to Orange (Activation) mods. Changing an Orange mod from a dropped Ammo Box consumable is no different than changing it at a Joker Ammunition Vending Machine, Vehicle Spawner, Car Resupply or Mailbox. Currently, if you use your Orange mod, you will have to wait for that mods specific cooldown time to expire before being able to use it again. Regardless of if you change to a different Orange mod after. The same thing applies for the Yellow mods. Each have their own cooldown time period that you have to wait for, even if changed after use. The cooldown time from Yellow mods do not affect the cooldown time on Orange mods, and vice versa. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
