Trade lock suggestion

Recommended Posts

I'm getting tired of the constant 3 day trade lock because of windows updates and hardware changes. Wouldn't it be better to remove trade locks overall for people that have 2 factor authentication set up? I really see no reason for the account to be compromised at that point anyway.

2fa was intended to replace the trade lock at one point, this obviously hit some sort of speed bump and i don’t think we’ve gotten an update yet

Could you speculate on what sort of speed bump?

an unfortunate pedestrian

perhaps it’s more difficult than predicted to have 2fa, which seems to involve the login system, reliably affect ingame stuff - kind of a reversal of the old armas event counters frequently not working correctly

Hi there,

This is in development. We have just been focusing on the engine upgrade. But the plan is to eliminate the tradelock that occurs when hardware or software updates happen if your account is secured with 2FA.

Thanks,

Matt

restriction of trade is justified . I don't see any abuse options yet .
